sometimes i actually wonder if schooling wasn't a wasted effort for most of us in Nigeria?
I have a job but I'm highly underpaid, to the extent that most drivers in my Org. actually
earn higher salaries than the so called graduates, I decided to call some of my friends just
this morning and we agreed to fast and do an all night vigil for us to get better jobs. Now
some people would laugh at this but we've done everything,submitted resumes,cried,begged
relatives in high positions until we became some sort of nuisances and now they avoid our calls.
This unemployment issue is killing the youths,causing lateness in marriage,gross poverty e.t.c

A lot of people are praying it happens to them so they can withdraw the money. That puts y'all on the same level with armed robbers and thieves,wanting to take what does not belong to you. I was at the counter few years back to withdraw money to pay someone and God knows that that day,I was totally broke. I couldn't even boast of 1k in my pocket after paying the person I needed to pay. While at the counter,instead of the cashier giving me a bundle of 500 naira notes(50k),she gave me a bundle of few 500 naira notes on either sides of 1000 naira notes(the 1k notes were sandwiched in btw). As I counted and realised the money was way over,I returned the money to her and told her she had overpaid me. When she saw the mistake,she was shocked and said thank you sir. People standing behind me and beside,were looking at me as if to say "this one nor sharp". A guy walked up to me and said: "you're a good Nigerian". I was a lil bit offended cos I didn't see the big deal in returning something that doesn't belong to me. I was brought up that way and have always lived my life that way. The fact that I was broke and needed cash badly wasn't enough to change my principle. I told some other people and they swore never to return the money...

What's my point in all of these? If you cannot be principled enough to correct such an error or to be honest with people when they mistakenly commit such errors,do not anticipate or dream of living in a better world or a society free from robbery and corruption. What goes around,comes around. If you can't be principled and honest when it comes to money,have it at the back of your mind that you're one of the problems that needs to be eradicated from the society for people to live normal lives.

I get what you are saying but some errors are not errors, do you know God takes from sinners and gives to the just, look at it this way did you steal the money if it was given to you, I can't even mention the number of times money was given to me at my place of work, like I said I didnt steal it,it was given to me, and i keep it, now if u want to call that stealing,then you dont know what stealing is
