lostgirl85: You hit the nail right on the head. I thought that was appropriate timing but I know I can be so pushy at times. I will keep a mental note and in a few more months find out what's going in if I have not met the woman that gave birth to such a wonderful man.

I don't think you can really put an exact number on it because what works for one may not work for the other. I'd say when you both feel you're ready to get married and you have both agreed it will be soon, then it wouldn't hurt meeting each other's parents.
