How can a mother not know the age of her daughter, she claim her daughter is 33years and was born in 1987. A person born in 1987 is 29years and not 33yrs
It seems this people are framing the story to tanish the image of the king because if they claim the king is reponsible for the pregency they should go for a DNA test.
An average Nigerian woman don't keep birth date of their children. Especially those born in the 80s. If u are inquisitive enough I implore u to ask go find out.

PhonesTelecom Giant, MTN Begins Payment With $250m To Nigerian Government by Trulie(op): 12:43pm On Feb 25, 2016
Johannesburg (AFP) - South African telecoms giant MTN said Wednesday it had paid $250 millionto the Nigerian government in a dispute over a$3.9-billion fine imposed last year for failing to disconnect unregistered users. The company also said it had agreed to withdraw its legal challenge over the huge fine in a case that was adjourned in Lagos High Court to enable the two parties to try to negotiate a settlement."Pursuant to the ongoing engagement with the Nigerian Authorities, MTN Nigeria has today madea... good faith payment of 50 billion naira ($250 million)," Johannesburg-based MTN said in a statement. The money was paid "on the basis that this will be applied towards a settlement, where one is eventually, hopefully arrived at," the statement added."In an effort to achieve an amicable settlement, MTN has agreed to withdraw the matter from the Federal High Court in Lagos."Nigeria, Africa's most populous country, is the MTN group's largest market, where it had more than 62.8 million subscribers by the second quarter of 2015.MTN was slapped with the penalty in October 2015after it missed a deadline to disconnect 5.1 millionunregistered SIM cards. The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the country's telecoms regulator, at the time cited security concerns over the inability to trace users in a country plagued by frequent kidnappings and an extremist Islamist insurgency, Boko Haram. It imposed a $5.2-billion fine that was later reduced to $3.9 billion (3.6 billion euros) following an appeal by MTN.The company issued a profit warning last week and said the Nigerian dispute was a factor in falling earnings. The fine also led to the resignation of chief executive Sifiso Dabengwa and some Nigerian executives.Nigeria's four major phone companies have routinely been fined in the past for regulatory infractions but none has received as big a punishment as MTN.The initial fine of $5.2 billion was more than MTN's total sales in Nigeria in 2014 and the equivalent of about 37 percent of the group's total revenue, according to Bloomberg News.

Lagos state is paying for and building the core infrastructure. Roads drain ages, street lights ,sewers etc
That still it is the tax payers that should be commended. If u know how much I pay as tax p.a. then u won't be saying all these.
EducationThe Minister Of Finance Is Right. Waec Is Corrupt. by Trulie(op): 12:42am On Feb 23, 2016
Few days ago the minister of finance opened our eyes to the level of corruption in the various exam bodies. I think this reply by Waec to a letter sent by an organisation justifies the minister's assertion.

wow! guy I feel ur pain. And I mean it when i say I feel your pain. Years ago I was in the same position as u are now. At the point I thought life was void, empty, and a charade without HER. I loved her so much in ways the word 'luv' cannot fully define. So, like u, I thought it's done, am done. Days turn to month and months to years and am still here. still breathing, still living, still smiling, looking happier, and grateful. You see my dear, I found love again when I least expect. She has all the qualities my EX lacked. My guy, give urself time, am sure in few years time u will see the stupidity in wanting to end ur meaningful life for a less meaningful reason. Life is beautiful! Don't waste ur life for Nothingness.

A strategic omoluabi project.
Kudos to tinubu and Fashola for funding the infrastructure.
Give kudos to them for their creativity and developmental plans but not for the funding. It's private sector driven. Besides, govt funds are partly or wholly pool of taxpayers (our) money. So next time give us the accolades first before u even thank the governments for its appropriation

PoliticsRe: "We Can't Pay Salaries, Imo Is Broke" – Okorocha by Trulie(m): 9:11pm On Jan 28, 2016
Kikero112:
Well....he is certainly corrupt....but that is for the courts.

But....thief or no thief...the price of Nigeria's major earner...oil...has fallen.Back when oil price was as high as $112....no one bothered about corruption. Now that it is at $32....we are all bothered.

Thing is....we may have to investigate how Imo has been run since Rochas took over. We also have to face the cold fact that things are going to get a lot tighter...unless you have a means of persuading the Saudis to increase oil prices again....not that that is going to happen.

I could call Rochas corrupt....and by the way....I am not his fan,and never was.

But that does not change the fact that our state system is broken....the payroll is overloaded....and the treasury is broke. We were never a rich nation to begin with. Even if we saved during GEJ time...we would at best reach $100bn in the treasury......not much compared to Saudi's 724BN dollars....124bn of which has gone.

Right now in Iraq....government workers are now being paid every six weeks. I won't be surprised if Nigeria follows suit. We are broke...because since we got independent....most of you Nigerians have preferred to sell raw materials...and share the money. Developing an industrial economy you won't do because you don't want to.
it's not we...blame the govt. Do you what it cost to set up a factory in Nigeria? Even the big multinationals are lamenting about their cost of operation. Say u want to set up a company xyz, u approached the banks and they are unwilling to lend u some loan and if they do it comes at a very exorbitant rate. Say u manage to get pass that and u start operation, epileptic power supply nko? cost of operation is hiked by powering ur machines thru alternative power source. so many limitation and what have the government done all these years to increase productivity? nothing...instead they steal from our reserve. They rub us to enrich themselves. Now they want us to be paying 50 naira per 1000naira transaction as CoT. How many sacrifice have they make? How many have the legislatures make? They are still ranked one of the highest paid anywhere in the world. It is only here in Nigeria we get pushed to the wall and we still keep our cool. Our forefathers gave them a future filled with hope after the independence; a future where a $ goes for less than a #. they took it, sucked it dry and gave us this. So hard to get a job in a country u call yours. If not for Nairaland and a good samaritan (God bless her real good) I would still be in the street of ph with a 2,500 naira shoes combing everywhere begging for work in a country I called mine oh..Am off the labour market but what about millions out there struggling. May God save us!

anytime I read about this man and how he is plummeting the economy of the state, I just feel like shedding tears. His level of cluelesssness in governance is high up there in the 3rd heaven..no developmental plan for the state at all; he just come on screen and say whatever get to his imagination. Pls God take this plague away from our state.

I need answers to some questions? Is it true that in the 114 chapters, 6666words of the Quran, Jesus name was found in about 25places while Muhammad just 4places? Also is it true that prophet muhammed mother or child's name doesn't appear there but only one Mariam, the mother of jesus in chapter 3 and chapter 19 with the name of the chapter itself called Mariam. Why does the Quran 3vs 34 says Mary was born without original sin, she never committed any sin in her life, she was EVER VIRGIN?

u can but it's most likely u will not see a headway in doing that. They will simply say they relieved u of your duty for "unethical conducts". And the term 'unethical' are broad to define. In short anything the company call unethical is what it is as prescribed in their employment contracts. so I'd advice u move on.

I would oh and in fact am about to but then again the Holy Bible clearly condemns it in totalty (as in not condemn in one part and condone in other part oh)and I can give u bible passages if u want; Infact when God was to destroy sodom and gomorah one of the many reasons include same-gender sex.

PoliticsRe: FFK Blasts Buhari For Shaking The Queen But Refused To Shake Female Ministers by Trulie(m): 4:30pm On Nov 30, 2015
LightofEarendil:
When I started working on some internationally-supported development projects across several states in Nigeria, one of the things I had to learn is to know enough of the practices and culture of people I work with and respect their positions in this regard.
I remember shaking married Muslim women is one of them. It's quite embarrassing at times meeting people and offering handshake and watch them ignore it, albeit respectfully. But it shows that you did not do your homework well or you are inexperienced at that level.
Now I have learned when and to whom to offer an handshake and to whom not to offer.
I also know the signs to look for.
It is all about etiquette.
The situations sometimes will vary. I have had instance when a married Muslim who wears short hijab will not take an handshake from you but will take it from white foreigners in your delegate.
Should that be an issue - No, if you do not make it one. They too are trying to find a balance. They expect you as a fellow countryman to know and respect their position, while they make some exception for the foreign guests/visitors.
Some may not even take an handshake from anyone. But trust some of the foreigners too, they do their homework and would not try to offer an handshake once they know your practice.
FFK and others just raising dusts on this are the ones who need to learn this It is not everything that is politics.
A better explanation than the lots I've read thus far.
