Sensing that he could be suspended by the NJC, the CJN quickly suspend their meeting indefinitely. Why? So that he can stay on. You can imagine!
You asked Kemi to resign but Onnoghen who was selling justice for dollars and deliberately didn't declare those dollars in his domiciliary accounts including 55 houses should stay on, and he should be left alone.

He committed an offence that devalues his integrity as a Judge and instead of resigning he started taking instructions from selfish politicians on how to abuse court process and misuse his power as head of NJC to hold on an exalted position. Doesn't it sound absurd that a Nigerian CJN had to run to Industrial Court to get ex parte injunction. Industrial Court! Industrial court? Sounds like what a corrupt Nigerian politicians will ordinarily do to hang on. It is so demeaning! Little wonder that his defenders quote the untreated cases of corrupt politicians to defend why his case should also be left untreated.

For somebody who should personify intergrity and exude incorruptibility, the current scenario is appalling. Every SAN defending him instead of encouraging him to take the 'hemlock' of honour should take a look at themselves in the mirror.

Justice Onnoghen should bow his head in shame. He is disgrace to Justice Ayo Irikefes, Justice Oputas and co who represented the Southern Nigeria well. He doesn't represent the best of what we can offer to judicial world.
