Greeting to all PCMs. If you're yet to see your name on the senate list, this little trick may help you.

Don't search for your name on the senate list.(I mean don't use that link that asks for your surname and date of birth etc.. ). Just ignore that. Go ahead and create an account on the NYSC portal. I mean register as 'Fresh User' on the portal.

STEP 1. visit this link � https://portal.nysc.org.ng/nysc4/Home

STEP 2. Click on Mobilisation Batch A, 2019

STEP 3. The next page will show you two options FRESH REGISTRATION AND REVALIDATION. Click on FRESH REGISTRATION.

STEP 4. Enter your email address (you've two spaces to enter it twice. Please make sure your email address is valid. Gmail preferably. You may create one if you don't have. Choose a security question and give it an answer (the security question and answer is necessary incase you forget your password). Click CONTINUE after filling.

*hope you're getting the steps correctly? Good!

STEP 5. NYSC will send you a message to the email address you provided earlier . Login into your email and open the message sent by NYSC. There is a link in the message, click on it

* Have you done that? Good!

STEP 6. When the page opens, select your institution, type your Jamb number followed by your matric number (your institution's registeriation number) and click on "LOOKUP SENATE". Voila! all your details will appear and you may continue with the rest.

NB* This may not work for everybody. You may end up seeing something like "You cannot be registered. Your school has not fulfilled the mandatory document submission"

But don't worry, it's not your fault but your schools'. It means your school has not sent hardcopies of their senate list to the NYSC.

I almost fell for some thing similar in December. They really appealed to the emotional side of me.

He told me he was a foreigner from one African country and he came in with goods to sell but he doesn't understand our currency and the equivalent of the value of the goods in naira.

As someone who doesn't like people being cheated, he begged me to assist with money collection. Initially, when he first approached me , he told me he was looking for an address, which I told him I didn't know. I advised him to call his contact person, he said his phone was dead. I told him to ask others.

I was already going my way, when a man he approached asked me in Yoruba what Mr. A was saying like he didn't understand English. I told him what he told me, only for Mr. B to start encouraging me to help him, that he would assist also.

He kept pushing to follow Mr. A to ask him questions. In my mind, I was already telling myself if it involved going into an enclosed/hidden place, I wouldn't follow them.

I was even joking around with Mr. B not knowing he was a part of the plan. Mr A mentioned his goods were somewhere along Luth road, I knew if anything happened to me on that road, I was on my own. So, I insisted we trekked.

He kept saying he didn't have money in Naira and he didn't know if the bike men would accept dollars.

The fact that I was on my way back home from work and I was tired was my saving grace. It occurred to me and I was thinking how come I was the only one the guy saw to contact for help if he came down all the way from Surulere to Yaba and he couldn't get anybody.

By this time, it was getting dark, I was tired. I just told both of them to get someone else to help that I wasn't willing to help out again.

I move around cashless but this particular day I had cash on me, devices that costs a lot too. That was how I escaped oh. Offering help now can be scary because it's getting difficult differentiating the genuine from fake.

In this modern age where many women work and share the cost of rent, food, clothing? This age where men keep screaming that they can't marry liabilities and they want independent women who work and have their own money? Or is it another time?

Let me remind you of some benefits to the man

-1)A live in maid for free. (after all. "I'm Male. Head of house. It's a woman's job to build and take care of her home. )
-2)Live in cook. For free. (Hot meals set and ready at all meal times. Woman's job.)
-3)Live in all time baby sitter for free. (It's a woman's job to care for the kids. )
-4)Live in housekeeper for free.( Once again woman's job)
-5) And after all that, Someone to split the rent and someone to split payment of bills with. (This is when they remember that it is modern times. Something you're conveniently ignoring.)

-6) For extremely lazy yet wicked and entitled men.
It gives them another person's salary that they can sequestrate and they feel entitled to, A salary they didn't earn.

Since we want to show bias.

I couldnt print out from my jamb portal because i wasnt given a jamb registration number. I did part-time during ND. Pls what do i do??
