PoliticsInjustice: Fulani Terrorists Enjoy Light Sentences As Nnamdi Kanu Remain In Jail by truthera(op):
Nigeria as a country is finished! Those deluding themselves about Nigeria's future or giving themselves false hope over voting out Tinunu 2027 deserves no pity.... How long will Nigerians continue to pretend, fold their arms and do nothing as Tinubu and his APC government continue the brigandage and destruction of their future?

Nnamdi Kanu did nothing but told the truth, warning Nigerians to prepare for all that's happening now.... He remains in jail, serving life imprisonment while Tinubu and APC continue to pamper, shield and "rehabilitate" jihadist killers.....

Read latest news below as published by Sahara Reporters on how the compromised government continues to free, pamper terrorists, organising kangaroo court trials in which light sentences of 10 to 20 years jail time are granted to convicted deadly Boko Haram terrorists and their northern collaborators....

The judgments, delivered by Justice Binta Nyako, stem from separate cases prosecuted by the Federal Government, with the court imposing sentences ranging from 10 to 20 years’ imprisonment alongside orders for rehabilitation and de-radicalisation.

Multiple individuals have been convicted and handed varying prison terms by the Federal High Court in Abuja over offences linked to terrorism, following proceedings that highlighted their roles in supporting the Boko Haram insurgent group.

The judgments, delivered by Justice Binta Nyako, stem from separate cases prosecuted by the Federal Government, with the court imposing sentences ranging from 10 to 20 years’ imprisonment alongside orders for rehabilitation and de-radicalisation.

In the first case, Hamatu Modu was arraigned on a four-count charge bordering on membership of Boko Haram, provision of material support, and dealing in funds linked to the proscribed organisation. The prosecution team, led by the Director of Public Prosecutions of the Federation, Rotimi Oyedepo (SAN), told the court that the charges were brought under provisions of the Terrorism (Prohibition and Prevention) Act, 2022.

The defence counsel, Aliu Abubakar, did not oppose the arraignment, and the defendant pleaded guilty to all counts.

Count one alleged that the defendant belonged to Boko Haram, contrary to Section 25 of the Act. Count two accused him of providing food and other items to the group, while count three involved receiving and handling funds amounting to N20,000

Following the guilty plea, the prosecution tendered the defendant’s extrajudicial statement and investigation report, both of which were admitted as exhibits without objection.

Justice Nyako subsequently convicted Modu and sentenced him to 10 years’ imprisonment on each count, to run concurrently. The court ordered that the sentence be served at a facility designated by the Ministry of Interior and directed that the convict undergo rehabilitation and de-radicalization.

In a related case, Isa Ali was sentenced to 10 years’ imprisonment after admitting to providing support to Boko Haram.

Ali had been arraigned on a two-count charge, which included professing membership of the terrorist group and rendering support through the provision of clothes and logistics. He pleaded not guilty to the first count but admitted guilt on the second.

Upon his plea, the prosecution applied to strike out the first count, a request the court granted. The defendant’s statement and investigation report were then tendered and admitted in evidence, forming the basis for his conviction on the second count.

During sentencing, the defence urged the court to take into account that the convict had already spent three years in custody and described the offence as one of association. Justice Nyako thereafter sentenced him to 10 years’ imprisonment from the date of arrest and ordered that he undergo rehabilitation and de-radicalisation.

In another proceeding, the court convicted Auwal Bello for facilitating terrorism financing and sentenced him to 10 years’ imprisonment on each of two counts, to run concurrently.

Bello was accused of facilitating the exchange of about N750,000 during the naira swap policy for Boko Haram and paying N20,000 as tax to the group. He pleaded guilty to both counts.

The prosecution tendered his extrajudicial statement and investigation report, which were admitted in evidence. Although the defence pleaded for leniency, describing him as a family man with children, the court proceeded to convict and sentence him, while also ordering rehabilitation and de-radicalisation.

In the final case, Shehu Bukar faced a five-count charge, including alleged membership of Boko Haram, participation in a terrorist attack, providing support, undergoing weapons training, and withholding information.

He pleaded not guilty to four of the counts but admitted to one count of providing support by engaging in cattle rustling and selling goats to the group.

Following his plea, the prosecution applied to withdraw the remaining counts and proceed on the admitted charge, a request granted by the court. The defendant’s statement and investigation report were subsequently admitted as exhibits.

After reviewing the evidence, the court found him guilty. While the defence pleaded for leniency on the grounds that he was a first-time offender, Justice Nyako described the offence as “so gruesome” and sentenced him to 20 years’ imprisonment from the date of his arrest.

The court also ordered that he undergo rehabilitation and de-radicalisation, in line with measures aimed at addressing extremist conduct.

If fake rehabilitation exercise remains a means to regaining their freedom, how will these terrorists stop the killings? Is there any one still in doubt that Tinubu and his government are not involved, complicit over Nigeria's Islamic terrorism....? Unless the people rise up to flush out the fulani terrorists loving APC government, all bad leaders through a revolution and push to restructure or divide this contraption, nothing will change the status quo. FLASHBACK: Wike's 2016 Threat To INEC Official, 'Kill Anyone' Comment To Fayose Resurface After His Threat To Shoot Channels TV’s Okinbaloye

In December 2016, SaharaReporters reported how Wike, then as Rivers State Governor, was caught on tape as he held telephone conversations with INEC officials, political thugs, youth groups, and community representatives handpicked by him.

In the telephone conversations, exclusively obtained by SaharaReporters, Wike was arranging payments to the officials in exchange for their help in rigging legislative elections in the state.

The telephone conversations revealed Wike arranging with INEC officials, particularly those sent from Anambra and Plateau states, who were paid in batches to rig the election for candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Etche, Khana, Ikwerre, and other key local government areas in the state, where Wike and his supporters boasted they would overwhelm opponents with violence.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Bs4b_hC90PM

One of Wike’s phone calls went to a female INEC official who was complaining that the money offered by Wike was not sufficient for the rigging task.

An infuriated Wike told the woman that he had already paid the electoral coordinator in Plateau State.

At one point in the conversation, when Wike was told that one of the electoral officers was reluctant to sign one of the result sheets, Wike threatened to demand his money back from the recalcitrant official.

Then, as if not satisfied with his threat to collect back his money, Wike voiced his intent to kill the official, stating that the man would not leave Rivers State alive.

In the audio, Wike was informed that an Electoral Officer posted from Plateau State refused to counter-sign the electoral materials in order to collect the bribe he was disbursing.

In response, he said, "Don't worry, I will call the Plateau man now. I will tell him, if he does not return my this thing, I will deal with you."

When the person on the call with him said, "No, let him just sign, that is all," Wike said, "No, if it is that one, he should return whatever... I'm going to make sure that I kill him in this state. Just don't worry."

Wike then called one of his thugs identified as Owoh, and said, "Call that coordinator of Plateau, the man in Etche (Local Government Area), that I said he should warn his man in Khana (Local Government Area), that if he does rubbish, he should refund what we gave. That if he tries it, I will make sure that he never leaves this state.

"Tell him that he should warn him, if he is playing with people he thinks that he will collect that and begin to do rubbish, tell him that I said that they will see what I will do to him, if that is how they do.”

"In fact, call the three coordinators, that I said they should tell their people. If they want to joke with me, disturb me, I will kill them in this place before they leave, or they should return what I gave or I will kill them," he added.

On December 19, 2016, The PUNCH reported how Wike told the former governor of Ekiti State, Ayo Fayose, how he used his office to influence the election rerun in his state (Rivers).

In the leaked audio, he told Fayose to kill anybody he could.

In what appeared to be a brazen display of disregard for state institutions, both politicians were heard ridiculing the Nigerian Army in crude terms during the exchange.

The two men, members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), were elected on the party’s platform.

The election in question was reportedly marred by widespread violence and irregularities, with at least three people confirmed dead.

In one of the leaked audio recordings, Wike was heard boasting about his role during the rerun, while Fayose praised him for confronting what he described as military intimidation.

The conversation included the following exchange:

Wike: “Ayodele, my son!”

Fayose: “You think I’m a Nigerian Army member?”

Wike: “Nigerian Army does not exist again now!”

Fayose: “Ah, Wike, you tried!”

Wike: (Laughter)

Fayose: “Everybody has been calling me! Wike, you are the man! You faced the whole country’s military threat…”

Wike: (Laughter)

Fayose: “They were shooting when you went o..!”

Wike: “My brother, you have to fight to the last o…! Kill everybody you can kill… Everybody you can kill!”

Fayose: “Ah! You’re the man of the year! This one is too much for one person! Everyone couldn’t know the way forward!”

Wike: (Laughter)

Fayose: “You went to the collation centre!”

Wike: “Yes, I had to stop there!”

Fayose: “Eh! The video is all over now! See the way they’re shooting!”

Wike: (Laughter)

Fayose: “All over! Aaaargh! Congrats!”

Wike: “My brother, thank God for everything. It is God.”

Fayose: “I’m sure we are still going to go to court against them for the other one.”

Wike: “Of course. Of course! We’ll fight it out!”

Fayose: “You’ve done well for all of us!”

Wike: “We thank God, my brother!”

Fayose: “I’ll call you later.”

Wike: “Okay.”

CrimeTerrorists Abduct Many In Kaduna And Borno Midnight Raid by truthera(op): 6:44pm On Apr 05
The victims, including a two-year-old toddler named Irene, were taken from their family compound around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

Fresh reports indicate that terrorists carried out a daring midnight raid in Kachia, Kaduna State, abducting five siblings from a single household.

The victims, including a two-year-old toddler named Irene, were taken from their family compound around 11:45 p.m. on Saturday, April 4, 2026.

SaharaReporters learnt that the insurgents set a church and several homes ablaze in what residents described as a coordinated attack on the predominantly Christian settlement.

Fresh terror struck Kwapul community in Chibok Local Government Area, Borno State, as suspected insurgents carried out a late-night raid on Saturday that extended into the early hours of Sunday.

SaharaReporters learnt that the insurgents set a church and several homes ablaze in what residents described as a coordinated attack on the predominantly Christian settlement.

A member of the family told SaharaReporters that the gunmen struck under the cover of darkness, breaching the compound’s security and leaving the household in terror.

“Kidnappers entered our compound in Kachia and kidnapped five of my siblings, including two-year-old Irene,” the source stated, adding that the family is currently in a state of shock and “praying to God for their safe return.”

The identities of the other four siblings have not yet been made public, but the abduction of a toddler underscores the increasing depravity of the banditry crisis plaguing Southern Kaduna.

This latest abduction follows a pattern of unbridled aggression in the Kachia Local Government Area.

On Sunday morning, terrorists also targeted the First ECWA Church and St. Augustine Catholic Church in the Ariko community, killing at least seven worshippers and abducting several others.

The back-to-back attacks within 24 hours suggest that the hinterlands of Southern Kaduna have been overrun by criminal elements, leaving families at the mercy of kidnappers who operate with near-total impunity.

Residents of Kachia and surrounding districts have repeatedly cried out over the thinning presence of security forces and the lack of a rapid response mechanism.

The latest raid on a private residence further highlights the failure of the Governor Uba Sani administration and the security agencies to protect the lives and property of citizens in the state's rural corridors.

As of the time of filing this report, the kidnappers have yet to establish contact with the family to demand a ransom.

Attempts to contact Kaduna State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mansir Hassan, by phone for comments were unsuccessful.

CrimeRe: Fulani Herdsmen Kill Nine In Benue Fresh Attack by truthera(op): 6:32pm On Apr 05
Nigerians comtinue to play the ostrich as Tinubu and APC destroy their lives..... It is glaring a revolution towards decentralization or disintegration of the contraption remains the surest way out to end this bloody pogrom....
CrimeFulani Herdsmen Kill Nine In Benue Fresh Attack by truthera(op): 6:29pm On Apr 05
At least nine persons have been reportedly killed in a fresh attack by suspected armed herdsmen on Agena community in Mbalom, Gwer East Local Government Area, LGA, of Benue State.

The attackers were also said to have razed several houses, including the community market and food barns, leaving widespread destruction in the community.

It will be recalled that a similar attack occurred in Mbalom on April 24, 2018 when suspected herdsmen stormed St. Ignatius Catholic Church, killing 19 persons, including two Catholic Priests, Fathers Joseph Gor and Felix Tyolaha.

It was gathered that Saturday’s attack left several persons missing, and injured one individual who is currently receiving treatment at a hospital.

A resident, who spoke on condition of anonymity, said the attackers, numbering over 50, invaded the community in what appeared to be a coordinated operation.

“People were fast asleep when the attackers sneaked into the community around 5am and began setting houses and the market ablaze,” he said.

“As residents woke up and attempted to flee, the gunmen opened fire on them, killing innocent people without provocation. So far, nine corpses have been recovered, but we fear the number may rise as many persons are still missing and unaccounted for.

“It is a sad Easter for our people who were preparing for the celebrations before this tragedy struck.

“We cannot understand why these killings continue. A few years ago, they attacked this same community and killed two Catholic priests and worshippers in a church. We urge the government to take decisive action to stop these senseless killings,” he added.

The Security Adviser to the Gwer East Local Government Chairman, Mr. Austin Awua, who was at the scene to oversee evacuation of the victims, confirmed the incident.

While confirming the number of casualties, he said “the victims are mostly young men. Community members have also reported that several persons are still missing, although we have recovered nine bodies so far,” he said.

According to him, “residents said they noticed unusual movements between 4am and 5am, and by 5am the attackers had begun burning houses and the entire community market.

“At the moment, we cannot ascertain the reason for this unprovoked attack. The community is deserted, as residents have fled for safety.

This area is close to where two Catholic priests and 17 worshippers were killed in 2018. However, the situation is currently calm.”

Awua added that security agencies, including the Army, Police, and Civil Defence, had been deployed to the area through the coordination of the Chairman to prevent further attacks.

“In their usual pattern, the armed herdsmen struck and fled. Security personnel are now on the ground to forestall any recurrence.

“I was directed by the Local Government Chairman to ensure the evacuation of the corpses. He will also brief the Security Adviser to the Governor, after which he will engage community leaders to determine the cause of the attack,” he stated.

Also speaking, the Chairman of Gwer East Local Government Council, Mr. Timothy Adi, who visited the affected area, confirmed the development. He assured that security had been reinforced and that search-and-rescue operations were ongoing.

Meanwhile, Governor Hyacinth Alia has condemned the attack, describing it as barbaric and unacceptable.

In a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula, the Governor expressed deep sympathy to the affected families and reiterated his administration’s commitment to protecting lives and property.

Part of the statement read: “Governor Hyacinth Alia, strongly condemns the heinous attack carried out by suspected armed herdsmen on the peace-loving people of Mbalom in Gwer East LGA.

“The governor describes the barbaric act as unacceptable and a direct affront to the collective peace and security of the state.. He expresses deep sympathy to families affected by the attack and assures them that the government stands firmly with them in this difficult time,” the statement read.

The Governor also noted “with grave concern what appears to be a pattern of calculated and selective attacks in parts of the state, stressing that such acts of terror, though increasingly complex, will not be allowed to persist.

"He reiterates his unwavering resolve to confront and subdue all forms of criminality threatening the safety of Benue communities.”

The governor also commended security agencies, particularly the Nigeria Police Force, for their swift response and ongoing operations.

“He notes their assurance that they are on the trail of the perpetrators and will ensure their arrest and prosecution. He urges them to intensify efforts to prevent further occurrences and bring lasting relief to affected communities,” he said.

While acknowledging the challenges posed by recurring attacks, Governor Alia assured residents that his administration would not relent in strengthening security architecture and enhancing intelligence gathering.

He called on residents to remain calm, vigilant, and law-abiding, while supporting security agencies with credible information.

The Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Udeme Edet could not be reached for comments.

PoliticsIslamic Terrorism: Nigeria On The Edge, Nnamdi Kanu Vindicated by truthera(op): 4:50pm On Apr 05
In a statement issued on April 5, 2026, signed by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, IPOB said the incidents cited by American missionary Alex Babir in a viral video reflected what the group described as long-standing predictions made by Kanu before his arrest in 2021.

The Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) has claimed that recent coordinated attacks across several Nigerian states vindicate warnings by its imprisoned leader, Nnamdi Kanu, while demanding his immediate and unconditional release.

In a statement issued on April 5, 2026, signed by its spokesperson, Emma Powerful, IPOB said the incidents cited by American missionary Alex Babir in a viral video reflected what the group described as long-standing predictions made by Kanu before his arrest in 2021.

Powerful alleged that the attacks were coordinated and not the result of farmer-herder clashes or banditry, insisting that the situation represented “a deliberate, ideologically driven expansionist agenda.” He claimed that Kanu had, for over a decade, warned about such developments during broadcasts and public statements.

According to the statement, IPOB maintained that Kanu’s warnings were ignored by political authorities, alleging that efforts were instead made to silence him.

The group reiterated its claim that Kanu’s arrest in Kenya in June 2021 and subsequent detention were aimed at stopping him from speaking about the security situation.

IPOB further alleged that despite a 2022 court ruling discharging Kanu, the Nigerian government continued to hold him in custody. The group argued that his imprisonment had prevented him from contributing to discussions on insecurity and claimed that his release would help address the situation.

"For more than ten years, from Radio Biafra broadcasts to public statements across the globe, Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu stood alone and thundered the truth: This is not “farmer-herder clashes.” This is not “banditry.” This is not “resource conflict.”

"This is a deliberate, ruthless, ideologically driven Islamic expansionist jihad — a full-scale war of conquest to Islamise Nigeria, eliminate indigenous populations, and impose caliphate dominance from Sokoto to the South. He named it. He dated it. He mapped it,” Powerful stated.

“He called out the Fulani supporter of APC militias as the vanguard of this jihad, the same forces now confirmed by independent eyewitnesses like Alex Babir attacking in coordinated waves across Kwara, Ogun, Plateau, Barkin Ladi, Bokkos, Niger, and beyond.”

The statement also called on the international community, including foreign governments and intelligence agencies, to take notice of what it described as coordinated violence across parts of Nigeria. IPOB insisted that the attacks were not isolated incidents but part of a broader pattern.

Powerful said, “Mazi Nnamdi Kanu must be released immediately and unconditionally. His prophecies have been vindicated,” adding that the group believed his continued detention undermined efforts to address the security challenges.

"The sooner the world wakes up to this reality, the better for the survival of humanity in Nigeria. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu must be released immediately and unconditionally. His prophecies have been vindicated in blood. The cage in Sokoto cannot contain the truth forever. Biafra is awake. The caliphate project stands exposed."

The organisation concluded by urging global stakeholders to intervene, maintaining that the situation required urgent attention and reiterating its demand for Kanu’s release

"History will not be kind to those who watched this genocide unfold and chose complicity. The blood of the slain cries out from the ground. We demand justice. We demand his freedom. We demand the world stop pretending this is anything other than what Mazi Nnamdi Kanu said it was — a religious war of total domination,” he said.

"The earth is shaking. The truth is out. There is no hiding place left for the butchers or their enablers."

Science/TechnologyGlobe Is A Fake Word, NASA Artemis II Moon Mission A Fraud by truthera(op): 8:09am On Apr 05
I came across the thread "Artemis II Flies Around The Moon" featured in the home page of this website.... It is pathetic to see Nigerians excited over another space scam mission sponsored by NASA to deceive them.... Many people are so indoctrinated into NASA space nonsense to believe that the earth is a "Globe" when it's not.... For those still in doubt over the recent NASA's fake fraudulent Artemis moon mission, you can watch the video below.... Eric exposes NASA's fakery as he makes a strong argument yet again why people need to ask critical questions over this government backed fraudulent international space exploration conspiracy.....

On April Fool’s Day, NASA officially launched their Artemis II rocket claiming to take humans back to the Moon in 2026. Going “back to the Moon,” however, would require us having actually gone there before, which myself and many other researchers have debunked beyond any shadow of a doubt in several previous videos, showing that the original NASA Moon landings were faked in a studio on Earth. So, now, over 50 years later, with half a century of technological developments, Artemis II isn’t even claiming to land on the Moon like Apollo, but merely flying by...
PoliticsRe: Exposed: How Tinubu Forced INEC Chairman Amupitan To Sign Pre-Resignation Letter by truthera(op): 5:56pm On Apr 04
I've on several occasions and through several threads on this platform, told Nigerians not to waste their energy on 2027 election as it is a useless unproductive exercise under Tinubu and his APC government. As it stands, only a revolution that will lead to a total decentralization or disintegration of the country can liberate Nigerians from the retrogressive contraption and it's evil bad leaders.....
PoliticsExposed: How Tinubu Forced INEC Chairman Amupitan To Sign Pre-Resignation Letter by truthera(op): 5:50pm On Apr 04
Prominent legal scholar Professor Chidi Odinkalu has alleged that the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission, Professor Joash Amupitan, signed a resignation letter before taking office as a condition of his appointment — and that the threat of releasing it was used to pressure him into withdrawing recognition from the David Mark-led National Working Committee of the African Democratic Congress.

“I have it on the most impeccable authority that there is a pre-signed resignation letter by Chairman Amupitan,” Odinkalu wrote on X on Wednesday night. “It was a precondition for his appointment. Ultimately, that had to be called in aid by those who persuaded him to issue this release. The threat of releasing it did the magic.”

The allegation directly links INEC’s intervention in the ADC leadership dispute to what Odinkalu describes as a leverage arrangement that compromised the commission’s independence from the outset.

The 60-hour window
Odinkalu also noted that INEC’s decision came roughly 60 hours after senior officials of the commission held meetings with the Presidency, justices of the Court of Appeal, and the Federal High Court — a sequence of events he said was not coincidental.

He further criticised the commission for interpreting a Court of Appeal judgment rather than referring it back to the judiciary for clarification. “It is not the business of INEC to interpret the decision of the Court of Appeal,” he said. “If they had any doubt, an INEC governed by good faith should have gone back to the Court of Appeal to secure an interpretation of the decision.”

A warning about 2027
Beyond the immediate controversy, Odinkalu warned of what he described as a coordinated effort involving INEC, elements within the judiciary, and the ruling All Progressives Congress to limit political competition ahead of the 2027 general elections. He alleged that the only opposition platform likely to be permitted alongside the incumbent would be the Peoples Democratic Party, which he linked to the political influence of Nyesom Wike.

“That will not be much of an election,” he said, warning that the credibility of Nigeria’s electoral process — and the stability of the country — could be at serious risk if the allegations prove true.

I don't know why you keep quoting me, I asked that we wait till after 2027 election and see if all I said is true..... Regarding what you said about voting, I don't support 2027 election because I believe what Nigerians need is a national referendum on the country's unity and not an election to install another pretentious corrupt politician as president. I've already told you this before yet you keep going round in circles.... You keep playing to the gallery even when you know the truth, Nigeria is a British creation, a contraption that has glaringly outlived its usefulness......

You are going to come and tell me that Tinubu won in 2027?

Of course he will win! People like you are being too reticent to get off your ass and vote him out. So what should we expect apart from Tinubu winning?

Like I said, Tinubu's party will win again in 2031, and 2035 and 2039 and 2043 and will continue to win until you wake up and have had enough and decide to get off your ass and vote his party out. And until then, all I expect to hear from you is you wailing that Tinubu is taking food off your table and is putting in his own belly.

You can exercise your consent or not for whatever and as much as you desire. It is of course unfortunate for you that no serious politician is campaigning against Nigeria's unity, but you can always become a politician yourself with a manifesto of disunity.

Just know that your antivote stance is what guarantees Tinubu's "massive victory" in 2027, since you refuse to vote him out. And INEC does not need to sabotage or compromise any result because you compromise and sabotage the process yourself by not bothering to vote!

Also note that you are the one complaining on social media here. And in my own opinion, you are the root cause for not participating in democracy and voting.

Politics2027 Election: A Case Of Peter Obi And His 12 ADC Corrupt Political Disciples by truthera(op):
I came across an interesting thread titled "Obi: Why I’ll Work With Malami, El-Rufai Despite Corruption Allegations" below is a snippet....

Peter Obi, 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party (LP), says he will work with every member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in spite of the corruption allegations against them.

Speaking on Saturday on Magic FM in Aba, Abia state, Obi said getting closer to them offers him an opportunity to change them positively if they are guilty.

Obi cited Jesus Christ in the Bible, whom he said associated with prostitutes and tax collectors while on earth, to change them positively.

“When Jesus came here, his friends were tax collectors and prostitutes because it’s all part of what he was trying to change. It was all part of what he was trying to build as a person,” Obi said.
How can Peter Obi's supporters accept such a funny cheap lie from him and still believe that he is not as corrupt as other politicians in his party....? Anyone still in doubt should take sometime to analyze this, how many politicians have Peter Obi converted since he joined ADC that you can point out....? How many of them have voluntarily relinquished the loots they gathered from their previous portfolios as APC/PDP members, senators, governors, vice-president and ministers to the EFCC since they started fraternising with Peter Obi in the ADC? How can anyone believe that Peter Obi will convert northern political looters like Malami, El-Rufai and co who glaringly won't offer him any political support without compromise.... Peter Obi is simply mocking the Bible and his supporters by describing his relationship with these hardened deeply corrupt power hungry politicians to be similar to that of Jesus, tax collectors and prostitutes, making such a false statement to cover his true motive for joining the ADC only shows his desperation.

IMHO, Peter Obi's true motives for joining the ADC party was not to convert any politician but to become the party's consensus candidate and win the 2027 election leveraging the strong grass root political structures of popular northern politicians within the party like Atiku and Kwankwaso. I do not believe that the ADC will offer anything exceptional to Nigerians with characters like Malami, Atiku, Amaechi and other APC former members that constitute the party.... If Peter Obi succeeds in becoming the party flag bearer and somehow miraculously wins the next election, there is no way his government will fight corruption or curtail looting because he must repay corrupt selfish power hungry ADC politicians with juicy positions, he must replenish their looting purse used in funding his campaign, he must compromise his government to uphold the party's selfish corrupt interests. This is why instead of Nigerians participating in another rigged elections in 2027, voting for a pretentious Peter Obi or any other mainstream corrupt politicians in the upcoming election to continue the status quo, Nigerians will be better off pushing for a reset through a national referendum towards decentralization or disintegration of the country....

As long as indigenous people can't exercise their consent over Nigeria's unity, you've no real democracy in Nigeria.... I will not argue with you any futher because it is only a matter of months between now and 2027..... You are going to face the same electoral sabotage issues from other Nigerians similar to 2023 once you vote due to lack of patriotism and national unity.... By the time INEC releases compromised election results, Nigerians like you who know better but choose to pretend not to know the root cause of their national issues will once again act surprised, complain on social media while Tinubu and his APC party rejoice over their massive victory.... There is nothing to gain from doing the same thing and expecting a different result....

budaatum:
I think that's the difference between us. Unlike you, I am not hopeless under any government because I do not rely on government for my food. I make my own progress sustainable by the sweat of my own brow.

Nigeria is a democracy, albeit imperfect, where Nigerians should push with their vote. And if you are hopeless under Tinubu, that's the more reason to vote him out, I'd have thought. But your antipathy to voting shows you are not hopeless enough for that at the moment, and you've settled for the status quo and just peddle empty meaningless words, which would most definitely guarantee Tinubu a second term and APC a fifth and sixth which might make you hopeless some more.

By then I hope Nigerians actualize and vote en mass or seventh and eight and ninth and tenth will surely follow with the hopelessness it brings to some.

Once a revolution takes place, the people will determine how best to go about organizing a national referendum....

citizenY:
So which instruments are you going to use to get your referendum? Or you have another constitition in your kitty?
PoliticsRe: Why Nigeria Urgently Needs A National Referendum And Not An Election In 2027 by truthera(op): 2:11pm On Apr 02
You are free to vote if that makes you happy even when you know it's a hopeless exercise under Tinubu's APC government..... IMHO, no sustainable progress can be made until Nigerians push and actualize the decentralization or disintegration of the British contraption called Nigeria.....

budaatum:
Fact is, we have a country regardless. We can either improve what we have or continue working to destroy it.

I prefer improvement, as I do not find it intelligent to be destroying my country and then blame someone else for my own destruction. And that's apart grom the fact that I will suffer first from the destroying I participate in.

But all that is beside the point. Don't vote please. It guarantees politicians who will give you your referendum will never be in power to give it to you.
PoliticsRe: Why Nigeria Urgently Needs A National Referendum And Not An Election In 2027 by truthera(op): 10:48pm On Mar 31
Hmmmm.... denigrating "elected representatives and constitutional process".... the constitution and all relevant statutory provisions derives it's power and legitimacy from the people..... When all democratic public institutions have been captured, a revolution remains the only viable option for the people...

What do you gain from living in self-denial over a captured lawless country like Nigeria, where what you call constitutional processes are been denigrated on a daily basis? IMO, there is nothing left to denigrate as long as Nigeria is concerned. I hope you will be courageous to interact here after Tinubu through vote buying and systematic rigging is declared the winner in 2027 presidential election....

citizenY:
We are telling you that you can only get your referendum through your elected representatives and constitutional process and you are fixated in your denigration of the same process and institutions. Continue shadow boxing.

I do believe that Nnamdi Kanu's journey is not over..... He will surely regain his freedom, no matter what politicians or Nigeria's government try to do in order to imprison him.... In the end, Nnamdi Kanu's freedom will serve as a testament that no man is above his creator....

esnbrutality:
Release Nnamdi Kanu and even Peter obi can't win.

But with all the insults and mudslinging..from the dunderheads that represent Sunday igboho and others, its best they understand that the SE will only align with those that touch the soul of the SE.

Atiku has said ithat he will release MNK.
Peter obi said he will release MNK.
Kwankwaso said so too.
El. Rufai doesn't have issues with him

All I know is the he will be released.

Elected or self imposed selfish corrupt representatives? What are the structures for a referendum when all arms of government and federal institutions have been captured by Tinubu and his party? If the country was for "all of us" as you may presume then I see no reason why you can't see that only a people backed revolution can bring about a national referendum under these hopeless circumstances.... Except you want to remain in self-denial of your reality, Nigeria's federal government and it's public institutions is gone. 2027 election will bring all that I've discussed here to bare.....

citizenY:
Honestly, l suggest you should stop responding to this fellow. There are proper structures for a referendum in place.. viz... a legislature, a political platform, elections by way of voting, a consittuency.

Whatever he wants, a referendum or even two seats for Nigeria at the Ùnited Nations, can be done through his elected representative. If such is not done, blame him and his representative.

This country is for all of us. Anybody who feels he is running faster should carry on. We go meet you for road when you taya..... and pass you. In short desperados are not welcome.

It is morning yet on creation day for this country. We should be very careful as we proceed. Nation building is an arduous task, not talk talk and mouthing cliches
PoliticsRe: Why Nigeria Urgently Needs A National Referendum And Not An Election In 2027 by truthera(op):
Why do you still think that you've a normal country under APC? You are free to play Tinubu's game, vote in the next election and see how it goes.. We will continue the conversation when the time comes.... hopefully you will understand better all I've been trying to tell you by then....

budaatum:
We've already seen his reaction, lol.

He does not want us to vote in elections, but wants us to vote in a referendum we need to vote and win an election to get.
Politics2027 Election: Nnamdi Kanu Is An Unregistered Political Party For Ndigbo by truthera(op): 1:42pm On Mar 31
Apex lgbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Youth Council, OYC, has declared that leader of indigenous people of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, is an unregistered political party unknown to the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC.

National President of Ohanaeze Youth Council, Igboayaka O. Igboayaka, made the declaration in a statement on Sunday.

Igboayaka noted that it may be too late for President Bola Tinubu to discover and realize that, apart from the late Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu, Nnamdi Kanu is the only political figure who can command the bloc votes of Ndigbo.

"MNK is an unregistered political party unknown to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), exercising significant control over old Eastern Nigeria, specifically the Igbo tribe.

“Consequently, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu remains the current political party for Ndigbo and prevailing political figure in Igboland, whereas groups such as City Boy Movement, Renewed Hope Agenda, and other Bola Ahmed Tinubu-affiliated organizations will merely serve the interests of their leaders, a source of stomach infrastructure to the coordinators and directors in South-East.

"None of their directors or coordinators possess the capability to mobilize Ndigbo to polling units in support of Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

“Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election will continue to be viewed as a hoax, a hallucination, and a joke in Old Eastern Nigeria until Nnamdi Kanu is released unconditionally from prison,” Igboayaka stated.

The OYC President warned that Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress, APC, may not get more than five percent of South-East votes in 2027, if Kanu remains in detention.

"Apparently, political activities will not be as usual in Igboland, and the APC will not exceed 5% of the votes if Nnamdi Kanu remains in detention, making it an astute political maneuver for Bola Ahmed Tinubu to facilitate the release of Ndigbo prior to the completion of primary elections in Nigeria,” he added.

The statement noted that Igbo politicians are on the verge of facing a fierce political storm and tsunami for abandoning Nnamdi Kanu in prison.

“All incumbent political office holders, including House of Assembly members, House of Representatives members, Senators, and Governors seeking re-election, will be compulsorily and democratically retired during the 2027 Ballot Revolution in Igboland,” Igboayaka added.

Not just the constitution, Nigeria as an entity is the problem.... There is an urgent need for a National referendum on Nigeria's existence.... I believe the British contraption called one Nigeria that has been a source of anguish and retrogression to all indigenous people may seize to exist in the event of a national referendum.... This is why only a people backed revolution can bring about a national referendum that will end or totally decentralize Nigeria for the people to be free to build a prosperous nation....

Anything humanly possible we must do to rescue ourselves from such disgraceful regime
PoliticsWhat Nigerians Must Do To Rescue Themselves From Tinubu's Terrible Government by truthera(op):
I will keep this short.... Nigerians, you will be stupid to think you are still living in a democratic state, you will be foolish to think that your vote in the next presidential election will somehow count to remove Tinubu and his APC government after seeing the massive defections, unconstitutional overreach and sychophantic loyalty he enjoys from other arms of government. As it stands, there is nothing left as long as Nigeria is concerned because Tinubu has succeeded in destroying not just Nigeria's economy but whatever is left of the country's democracy and unity. The greedy corrupt APC government is only interested in selling off the country's future through looting massive foreign loans and siphoning trillions of naira through phantom elephant projects..... Many more Nigerians will perish if nothing is done to reverse the economic doom, pervasive security crisis that awaits the nation over Tinubu's greed and ineptitude.... There will be little or no hope left by the time he is done destroying what is left of Nigeria in the next 4 years.... If Nigerians want a better future, today is the right time to begin the fight for survival..... No one willl rescue Nigerians unless they rise up to rescue themselves. What is happening now will only get worse if the Nigerian people do not unite to fight for a national referendum to free themselves....

I will once again reiterate, Nigerians hoping for salvation by trying to impeach or vote out this APC federal government in the upcoming 2027 presidential election are only deceiving themselves because Tinubu and his party now owns Nigeria..... Only a national referendum that will bring about a total decentralization or disintegration of the country can save Nigerians....

I do not think it is appropriate to support frivolous claims without evidence, can anyone prove that Sowore an APC mole.....?. I guess the only argument that I can say makes sense is the role he played over Buhari's victory in 2015..... It will be a shame if Sowore is truly on Tinubu's payroll working for the APC against Nigerians.... I am yet to be convinced until I see concrete evidence by the opposition against him....
