I will keep it short, the simple reason behind these coups is France. The people want to be free from France control over their countries and natural resources. Tinubu is a stooge of France President Macron, he will be used to try to subdue any attempt by the military of these west african countries to destroy the status quo but will fail.... No one can stop an idea whose time has come! The military coups will continue to happen until France leaves these countries alone.... |
What you said about Nnamdi Kanu is not completely true as I will challenge you to provide evidence regarding how Kanu preached hate about other tribes. Are you aware that Kanu made a video apologizing over some of what he said that were said out of anger/frustration due to unjust actions towards igbos/IPOB not because he hates any tribe. Before you quote my comment, note that this thread is not about Nnamdi Kanu.... garykoeman: |
helinues is a life-long Nairaland APC/Tinubu super supporter.... He was an APC super hero..... I still remember how he took the political fanatical praise singing here to another level through augmenting his comments with fake likes just to boost support for APC and Tinubu.... Today's self imposed confession should serve as a bitter lesson to his base as it is still a mystery regarding what prompted helinues outburst against an evil government he loves..... LagosOrigin: |
Is this how you console yourself while supporting your evil APC governemnt.... ![]() garykoeman: |
Wow! what a "temporary suspension" from the one and only HELINUES (Tinubu/APC Number Fan Of Nairaland)! I read the thread "Temporary Suspending My Support For This Government".... in which helinues made a funny announcement of "temporarily" burying his/her evil past....Since 2015, you supported all evil policies of APC, Buhari and Tinubu leading to the destruction of so many lives in Nigeria.... Now you find it convenient to "temporarily" jump ship? I told you on several threads that you will be the one wailing over Tinubu before he leaves power.... I told you that you will not escape the consequences of his evil government as it will eventually consume you.... now the chickens have finally come home to roost! Your senses seem to have been restored, it is now functional to realize that human life been wasted daily over Tinubu's willful incompetence should mean something.... To all other yoruba tribal champions on Nairaland actively supporting Tinubu and his evil government, let helinues ordeal and action serve as a pointer that nothing good comes from supporting evil, promoting hateful tribalism or praising bad governance.... If you do not change your ways, you will not also escape whatever evil consequencies that may arise from your actions. What happened to helinues will happen to you as well until you openly confess on Nairaland and renounce your evil deeds just like he/her did.... There is no peace for the wicked..... |
Igbos are better off leaving Nigeria.... IMHO, the best thing that will happen to all indigenous people of all regions is for the British contraption called Nigeria to end.... Restructuring (Total Decentralization) remains a workable alternative if Nigeria must continue to exist.... doncartel: |
helinues hahahahahahaahahahahahaha ![]() Wonders shall never end.... |
helinues since you mentioned my ID here, I may provide a robust response in new thread soon.... helinues: |
Hahahahaha! I gave a simple analogy in my comment to the previous user to buttress why there is no way this can be achieved through NASS.... Again, you lied when you said Nnamdi Kanu's Biafra agitation is nothing short of igbo expansionism because if it was then the igbos would not be asking for a peaceful referendum instead they would've simply started another war in a bid to forcefully expand their territory.... I've read many of your comments to understand that you dwell so much on conjectual grandstanding and emotional triatribs not rooted in truth, facts or reality.... Can you prove the accusations you made against IPOB beyond all reasonable doubt? DomPerignon: |
Well, I admire your optimism and undying hope that the unjust British entity called one Nigeria can some how grant the igbos agitating to exercise their rights to self-determination a peaceful referendum through a political solution.... Hopefully igbo men reading this thread who are actively in the National Assembly or are aspiring to be in the Senate or house of reps can push such bill to vindicate you. But until it happens, I think you need to look at the present, if a restructuring bill that would have benefited all Nigerians including you can be vehemently rejected and not entertained then do not think for a second that a referendum bill in favour of a tribe like the igbos will succeed.... aswani: |
Can you or any other Nigerian recall an Abuja rep easily in one Nigeria? You know how powerfully entrenched these politicians are in their constituencies, you know how corrupt your country is that you can not easily succeed in such endeavour.... How is Akpabio who did not participate in the last Senatorial election still a Senator and your Senate President? I still maintain that the only way out is for all ordinary people from all regions to rise up and end Nigeria or restructure it.... You can not leave Nigeria by participating politically through occupying public offices as the system is designed to entrap you.... I asked you a question in my previous post which is obvious from your reply that you already know the answer but chose to wallow in the illusion that Nigeria is a normal country like Ireland and Britain.... aswani: |
Do you remember the Nigeria Restructuring Economic 2021 Bill news that went viral last year? (https://www.vanguardngr.com/2024/02/of-constitution-review-and-restructuring/) That restructuring bill was great and got massive support from Nigerians but what did your Abuja reps and federal government do? They rejected it, called it fake news and buried it. This should give you a clue that there is no political route to leaving Nigeria.... I am not sure why your continued hold on an illusion that your one Nigeria selfish politicians who can not even support the call for restructuring will some how allow the passage of a referendum bill for igbos to leave Nigeria.... aswani: |
Comparing Ireland to Nigeria is akin to comparing Apples to Oranges..... If you quoted the complete reply I made to you, I had said that Nigeria is a weapon of control, you are seeking permission from people (politicians) you share nothing in common, who believes that the only way they can thrive is by keeping you locked into one Nigeria, a few powerful men and women with their foreign counterparts who share same entitlement mentality that they own Nigeria and it's resources. In summary, what I am trying to tell you is that no one can unilaterally leave Nigeria without a fight. If you didn't learn anything about what Nigeria represents till now then you should've learnt something from the blatantly unjust trial and imprisonment of Nnamdi Kanu.... No matter what you do in one Nigeria, as long as you are in a democracy (cosmetic democracy) that relies on the principle of a simple majority, you will always be systematically drawn against the interests of others from other regions. IMHO, You can not leave Nigeria by participating with it politically unless the people of all regions rise up to either end it or restructure it.... aswani: |
As I said Ojukwu's actions and his Biafra is gone. What ever actions he took against minorities who did not support him can not be undone. The same way there were many minorities who supported him, there were those who did not support him or Biafra. Regarding your submission that igbos can leave by voting in Abuja reps, you know that this is not possible because once you as a politician is appointed to a public office, you take the oath to defend and serve one Nigeria. The problem you seem not to grasp is that Nigeria was constitutionally/systematically designed to entrap it's indigenous people. You must seek support of those who you share nothing in common to allow you to leave that's if you have Abuja reps who are not selfish and corrupt. Even if the Igbo reps push for such bill in the house, it will be struck out by other reps mainly from Northern and South Western regions.... Nigeria is a weapon of control that will keep on producing returns for it's creator the British, their western allies and their local benefisheries enjoying it's natural resources unless it is totally restructured (Decentralised) or dissolved.... I believe it has to end for true justice to reign.... IMHO, Nigeria thrives on the divisive sentiments it creates to keep the people in control, no one can leave because others will work against you as it is how the system works.... You will understand this in due time.... aswani: |
Ojukwu's Biafra with it's imperfection ended since 1970, it's gone.... The modern igbo nation being pushed by Nnamdi Kanu called Biafra or whatever name it will eventualy be called will not force any one to be part of it as Kanu has rightly said all will be given the right to choose to join through a peaceful referendum and I agree. Nigeria remains a zoo if not for any other reason but the fact that the rights of the indigenous people to self-determination is not recognized, they cannot leave, anyone like Nnamdi Kanu agitating for his people and ancestral land to leave the contraption are criminalized, labeled separatists or terrorists and jailed.... If you are proud being part of this injustice, this prison called Nigeria, then you have no reason to complain over the unjust actions of your Nigerian leaders against you..... aswani: |
Hmmmm at times, the truth is bitter, you don't have to read my post as it is not a must for you to interact here.... Seem you are a Peter Obi supporter, if you truly care about your political idol, then tell him the truth. As long as he is an igbo man, Nigeria will definitely teach him another lesson in 2027.... wakaman: |
Well said! ..... OP, the writer is too generous with words as it is not a case of institutional ego but institutional corruption. There is no way to sugarcoat the illegality, corruption and injustice that characterize Nigeria's judiciary. Injustice Omotosho will forever be remembered as the shameless corrupt judge that destroyed what was left of Nigeria's judicial integrity internationally over his flagrant disregard/violation of section 1 (3), section 36 (9) and section 36 (12) of the 1999 constitution against Mazi Nnamdi Kanu... Supreme Court judges are also complicit, if there are still good men in the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), there should be massive calls within the NBA to disbar these corrupt judges..... Can this thread be featured on Nairaland home page.... Nlfpmod |
Victim mentality? Hmmmm why don't you support the movement to free Nnamdi Kanu? I do not know who you are talking about that scored 6% but for justice to reign, your Nigeria government must stop the unknown gun men (UGM) killings in South East and allow a peaceful referendum.... odejimioflagos: |
Ojukwu did not fight to preserve Eastern Nigeria, he fought for Biafra a new country outside Nigeria. There is nothing like Eastern Nigeria as far as Biafra is concerned. I will remind you that the geographical area of Biafra, which included the South East, remains the ancestorial home of the igbos, even before the colonialists came to map out what they called Nigeria. Nnamdi Kanu has also not forced any one to join Biafra as he stressed on South East and some igbo speaking parts of the South South belonging to Biafra. Not all minorities were in support of Biafra but can you provide a source link to the previous statement you made? DomPerignon: |
Nnamdi Kanu said it all regarding what Nigeria represents, this is why he is unjustly imprisoned. Nigeria has to be dissolve or totally restructured, many people in the country are yet to understand this but eventually they will.... Hopefully it won't be too late by then. ... |
Nnamdi Kanu has always been consistent in predicting the contraption called Nigeria..... |
False! The call for Nigeria's dissolution is a call for justice, freedom and equity.... Nigeria is a forced marriage born out of the selfish desires of the favoured few against the majority. A forced union that does not respect the desires or wishes of those who want to leave is an unsustainable one.... It is bound to fail... DomPerignon: |
Consent is key! Did the igbos ask the British to create Eastern Nigeria? The answer is no. Also part of where you call Eastern Nigeria has always been the ancestorial home to the igbos so whatever the British did was to serve their own interests and not in the interest of the indigenous people of the region which includes the igbos. You said coastal minorities agitated to leave but Igbos frustrated them? Hmm that's a new one, can you share link to your source behind this claim? Ojukwu and others who advocated and fought for Biafra, did so with the support of the minorities..... Even today, no one is been forced to join Biafra unlike Nigeria.... DomPerignon: |
Peter Obi is not Nigeria's problem I made this thread in reaction to helinues response on my previous thread. Peter Obi will do more to help Nigerians if he collapses his presidential ambition and advocate for peaceful referendum to totally restructure or divide Nigeria.... GHustler: |
I didn't say the British rigged the 2023 presidential election but the British do have a hand in the people's woes as they crafted one Nigeria without their consent, forcing people who share nothing in common into one country and dictating to their leaders through proxies to keep their creation (Nigeria) at all cost.... DomPerignon: |
You are the same person that will be all over threads with other yoruba users making jest of igbos and shouting Peter Obi can never be president. Dividing or restructuring (Total Decentralisation) will go a long way in resolving the problems and underlying injustices all indigenous people face in Nigeria. If the country is divided or total decentralised most of these problems like insecurity and bad governance can be easily isolated and crushed without ethnic/tribal biases that exists in the current political landscape. It is obvious that evil incompetent politicians and their foreign collaborators enjoying one Nigeria will not allow this because the toxic divisive politiking serves their selfish interests towards maintaining the status quo of controlling the people and retaining power.... helinues: |
Except you and other obidients who love one Nigeria are ready to fight for Peter Obi in 2027 I see no way he can win and become president. Above all, why are you holding on to a contraption that breeds hateful divisive sentiments among major tribes and regions. What difference will a Peter Obi presidency make to resolve the underlying issues which is caused by Nigeria as an entity? sirchim: |
In response to helinues and others who reacted to my previous thread accusing me of pushing for a breakup of Nigeria due to Peter Obi losing in 2023, I will use this thread to share my thoughts on what I think regarding Peter Obi's continued self-imposed delusion over ruling one Nigeria programmed to reject him. IMHO, I am surprised that as an igbo man, Peter Obi did not learn any lesson from his political journey in 2023 to rule over the British contraption called NIGERIA in which those who own the country with their foreign collaborators have an unwritten agreement never to allow an igbo man as president.... It is sad to see that Peter Obi wants to run again 2027 as it is obvious he hasn't learnt any thing due to his undying love to uphold one Nigeria and continue the evil British contraption. There is no way to sugarcoat the painful reality that Obi will lose again 2027, this is because as long as the injustice behind the evil entity called one Nigeria remains, no igbo man will ever be allowed to rule it even if he believes he can win or wins, he will be made to face the bitter reality of the injustice and lawlessness that Nigeria represents. Peter Obi will do a lot of good to the people if he collapse his ambition to be president and instead use his international goodwill/platform to champion the total restructuring (Total Decentralization) or dissolution of Nigeria, if he truly cares and wants to make a big positive contribution in the lives of the oppressed people within this evil contraption. Peter Obi I know just like other Nigerian selfish politicians will be setting himself up for another disappointment in 2027. Nigeria is a country built on injustice with a strong biased focus against the igbos, he can not escape this even if he tries to run again in 2031 as him and his supporters championing his presidential ambition are only deceiving themselves.... |
