CelebritiesNkechi Blessing: How A Man Paid Me N1m Weekly To Quit Acting by TruthHurts1(op): 9:54pm On Jul 28, 2025
Nkechi Blessing has revealed why she temporarily left the Nigerian movie industry.

During an appearance on Curiosity Made Me Ask, the actress explained that she initially stepped away from acting to explore other ventures.

Nkechi added that her break extended further when an anonymous benefactor began paying her a “staggering N1 million weekly salary”.

The movie star revealed that whenever she mentioned returning to a film set, the mystery man would inquire about her expected earnings and then send her “more than the amount”.

“I took a break from acting to pursue other things. Having someone who placed me on a weekly salary was also part of the reason I stepped back, because guess what, I might not even earn N1 million from a movie,” she said.

“So, imagine meeting someone who puts you on a N1 million weekly salary. Anytime I told him I had to go on set, he would ask how much I’d be paid and then send me more than that.”

Nkechi admitted feeling “underrated” in the industry. She acknowledged that early in her career, many focused more on her physique than her acting skills.

“I’m a good actress, but I’m being underrated. I think it’s because when I started acting, I was only showing off my endowment, so a lot of people didn’t pay attention to my talent, they focused on my body instead. And that’s my fault, so I’m trying to change that,” she added.

In October 2024, Nkechi’s three-year suspension from the Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria (TAMPAN) was lifted.

The disciplinary action followed her public feud with colleague Kehinde Adams (Lege Miami) over the arrest of actor Baba Ijesha, who was later convicted of sexually assaulting a minor.

Her criticism of TAMPAN during the controversy led to the suspension.

Foreign AffairsBreaking: Trump Brokers Ceasefire Between Thailand And Cambodia by TruthHurts1(op): 9:08pm On Jul 26, 2025
@realDonald Trump

I just had a very good call with the Prime Minister of Cambodia, and informed him of my discussions with Thailand, and its Acting Prime Minister. Both Parties are looking for an immediate Ceasefire and Peace. They are also looking to get back to the "Trading Table" with the United States, which we think is inappropriate to do until such time as the fighting STOPS. They have agreed to immediately meet and quickly work out a Ceasefire and, ultimately, PEACE! It was an Honor to deal with both Countries. They have a long and storied History and Culture.

They will hopefully get along for many years to come. When all is done, and Peace is at hand, I look forward to concluding our Trading Agreements with both!

Foreign AffairsChina Bans Onlyfans, Calls It Symbol Of Western Moral Decay by TruthHurts1(op): 5:38am On Jul 24, 2025
China's internet regulators have officially blocked OnlyFans, denouncing it as a "corrupt Western disease" and a symbol of "Western moral decay" in their ongoing effort to reshape the nation's digital landscape.

The platform-known globally for its subscription-based adult content-had briefly become accessible through VPNs and third-party payment systems, after a temporary thaw late last year.

Now, with this reinforced ban, Beijing aims to close all remaining loopholes, signaling zero tolerance for what it deems "immoral" Western influences.

PoliticsSenate Approves Tinubu's Plan To Borrow $21.8 Billion by TruthHurts1(op): 2:58am On Jul 23, 2025
The Senate on Tuesday approved President Bola Tinubu’s 2025–2026 External Borrowing (Rolling) Plan, which includes requests to borrow $21.8 billion, €2.1 billion, and ¥15 billion, as well as a €65 million grant, to finance key projects and programmes across various sectors of the economy.

In addition, the Senate approved the issuance of a ₦757.98 billion Federal Government bond in the domestic market to offset outstanding pension liabilities under the Contributory Pension Scheme (CPS).

Also approved was the President’s request to raise to $2 billion in the domestic market through a Foreign Currency-Denominated Instrument Local Issuance Programme—a novel initiative backed by Presidential Executive Order No. 16 of 2023, which empowers the Debt Management Office (DMO) to access dollar liquidity within the country without exerting additional pressure on foreign reserves.

These approvals followed the recommendations of the Senate Committee on Local and Foreign Debts, chaired by Senator Aliyu Wamakko.

Despite the approvals, debate on the floor was tense. Some lawmakers expressed strong reservations about the sustainability of Nigeria’s mounting debt load.

Senator Abdul Ningi was among those who opposed the motion, warning: “Generations after us will continue to pay these loans. I’ve gone through the documents and cannot find a clear repayment plan.”

However, other senators, including Adetokunbo Abiru and Finance Committee Chairman Sani Musa, defended the proposals, describing the loan terms as flexible and growth-oriented.

Tinubu submitted the borrowing requests on May 27, emphasising the need to support critical projects in infrastructure, health, education, water supply, and other strategic areas.

The decision comes at a time when Nigeria’s total public debt stock has surpassed ₦121 trillion, with external debts exceeding $43 billion as of mid-2024. Debt servicing now consumes more than 90 per cent of federal revenue, prompting sharp criticism from economists and civil society groups.

“This is a country living on credit,” an opposition lawmaker told journalists. “People are suffering from inflation and joblessness while the government continues to dig deeper into debt.”

Still, supporters argue that the borrowing plan is different from past patterns.

“This isn’t reckless borrowing,” a committee member stated. “It’s a strategic investment to stimulate jobs, growth, and foreign exchange inflows.”

The approved loans and bond issuances are reportedly ring-fenced for high-impact, high-return projects across power, transport, the digital economy, and social sectors, subject to appropriation by the National Assembly.

A significant portion of the domestic bond—₦757.98 billion—is earmarked for the settlement of longstanding pension arrears. The move is expected to bring relief to thousands of retirees still awaiting full payment of their entitlements.

The DMO is expected to float the bond locally, reducing exposure to external risk. However, analysts caution that the government must ensure transparency and fiscal discipline in its execution.

This provides some short-term fiscal space, but if the investments don’t yield quick, measurable returns, we’re simply deepening the debt trap.

Tuesday’s approvals give the Tinubu administration the green light to broaden its fiscal reach. But the pressure is now on for results. For ordinary Nigerians facing inflation, currency instability, and subsidy removals, the biggest question remains: Will this borrowing bring real relief, or more hardship?

PoliticsRe: In 2006, EFCC 'Detained' Tinubu's Appointee, Muhammed Babangida - FIJ by TruthHurts1(op):
So, let's crunch some numbers:
Muhammed Babangida is 53 years old.

When the EFCC questioned him in 2006, he was 34 years old.

When Globacom was launched in 2003 with a share capital of $1.5 billion, the then 31 year old Muhammed Babangida was able to acquire 24% of its shares which amounts to $360,000,000.

Mike Adenuga confirmed to the EFCC that Muhammed Babangida owned 24% of Globacom shares.

So how was a 31 year old Muhammed able to raise $360, 000, 000 and why did the EFCC suddenly drop the case against him and refuse to investigate it any further?
PoliticsIn 2006, EFCC 'Detained' Tinubu's Appointee, Muhammed Babangida - FIJ by TruthHurts1(op): 1:53am On Jul 23, 2025
FLASHBACK: In 2006, EFCC 'Detained' Tinubu's Appointee Muhammed Babangida Over Globacom Ownership

On July 18, President Bola Tinubu appointed Muhammed Babangida, the son of Ibrahim Babangida, former military head of state of Nigeria, as the chairman of the Bank of Agriculture.

It was rumoured that the younger Babangida had rejected the president’s appointment.

On July 21, however, the chairman-designate officially accepted the appointment offered by Tinubu.

While accepting the offer, Babangida said rumours of the appointment rejection were false and the entities behind the “fake report” would be identified and held accountable.

Interestingly, it was once reported that the former military leader’s son was once detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC). Neither Babangida nor the EFCC addressed the incident or shared more details afterwards.

EFCC DETENTION OVER GLOBACOM SHARES

In August 2006, the EFCC detained Babangida over an allegation that he owned and controlled 24 per cent of Globacom, a telecommunications service provider in Nigeria.

At the time of Babangida’s reported arrest, Globacom was worth $1.5 billion.

Prior to the incident, Babangida had once been invited by the commission to explain how he came about the wealth used in purchasing the shares at Globacom, but he denied knowledge of such investments.

The commission later claimed it got to confirm Babangida indeed had such shares with the Nigerian telco through revelations made by Mike Adenuga, the founder of the company.

Babangida was later released by the commission. The commission gave no public update on the matter.

On Monday, FIJ emailed Dele Oyewale, the spokesperson of the EFCC. FIJ asked why the outcome of the investigation carried out by the commission on Babangida was never made public, but the email had received no response at press time.

InvestmentHigh Court Grants 2 CBEX Promoters Bail, Arraigns Another by TruthHurts1(op): 12:47am On Jul 22, 2025
The Federal High Court in Abuja has granted a bail to two of the detained Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX)’s promoters in the sum of N10 million each with two sureties each in like sum.

Those admitted to bail by Justice Mohammed Umar are Awerosuo Otorudo and Chukwuebuka Ehirim.

Justice Umar, in a ruling, ordered that the sureties must have property worth the bail sum within the jurisdiction of the court.

He directed that the residence of the sureties must be verified by the registrar of the court.

The judge subsequently adjourned the matter until Oct. 13 for the commencement of the trial.

The News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) reports that Justice Umar had, on July 7, adjourned for ruling on their bail application, after it was argued by the defendants’ lawyer, Justice Otorudo, and opposed by EFCC’s counsel, Fadila Yusuf.

The development followed their arraignment by the anti-graft agency on three-count charges over allegations bordering on illegal financial operations and unlicensed investment activities.

They were arraigned on an amended three-count charge marked:

In the charge marked: FHC/ABJ/CR/216/2025, the defendants were alleged to have collected public funds and promised up to 88 per cent returns on investment without regulatory approval.

In a related development, Justice Umar has also fixed July 25 for ruling on the bail application filed by Adefowora Abiodun, Managing Director of ST Technologies International Limited, allegedly using another company, CBEX, to perpetrate investment scam.

Justice Umar fixed the date after his bail application was argued, following Abiodun and his company’s arraignment on amended eight-count charge marked: FHC/ABJ/CR/215/2025.

While Abiodun is the 1st defendant, ST Technologies International Limited is named as 2nd defendant in the amended charge dated July 9.

‎The allegations, in the earlier charge, bordered on alleged case of obtaining by false pretense, money laundering and carrying on the activities of other financial institutions without having the required license from the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) and Security and Exchange Commission (SEC).

They, however, pleaded not guilty to the amended counts.

The defendants’ lawyer, Babatunde Busari, informed the court of a bail application dated and filed on Abiodun ‘s behalf on June 30.

Busari urged the judge to admit his client to bail on liberal terms.

He said the charge showed that the alleged offences against his client were bailable.

Besides, he said two critical exhibits attached to their application showed that Abiodun voluntarily submitted himself to the commission for investigation.

“He (Abiodun) came to us as counsel and we took him to the commission.

“He also has a medical report that shows that the 1st defendant requires urgent eye surgery and that has not been possible for him for the past 80 days that he has been in detention.

“We, therefore, urge the court to admit the defendant on bail as the total of the monetary claim Is about N20 million naira,” he said.

Busari prayed the court to release Abiodun to him for the purpose of bail.

But EFCC’s lawyer, Fatsuma Mohammed, vehemently opposed the bail plea, saying a counter affidavit dated July 7 was filed in respect of the motion.

The lawyer urged the court to refuse bail and order for expeditious trial of the case, adding that investigation had been concluded “and we are ready for trial.”

“Is it a bailable offence?” the judge asked.

Responding, Mohammed said: “The section consequent to which the defendant is being charged, upon conviction, is seven years and it is enough number of years which is enough for him to try to run.”

Justice Umar, who adjourned the matter until July 25 for ruling, ordered Abiodun to be remanded in the EFCC’s custody pending ruling on bail application.

NAN reports that CBEX was one of several digital platforms that collapsed after allegedly collecting billions of naira from unsuspecting investors.

NAN reports that Justice Emeka Nwite of a sister court had, on April 24, gave the EFCC the go-ahead to arrest and detain six operators of CBEX over their involvement in the fraud.

The judge, who gave the order after the EFCC’s lawyer, Fadila Yusuf, moved an ex-parte motion to the effect, said the detention would be pending the conclusion of investigation of the alleged offences and possible prosecution.

The six suspects include Adefowora Abiodun, Adefowora Oluwanisola, Emmanuel Uko, and Seyi Oloyede.

Others are Avwerosuo Otorudo and Chukwuebuka Ehirim as 1st to 6th defendants respectively.

In the motion ex-parte dated and filed April 23 by Yusuf, the anti-graft agency gave four grounds for its application.

She said the EFCC had a statutory duty of prevention and detection of financial crimes through investigation.

Yusuf said that “the defendants are at large and a warrant of arrest is required to arrest the defendants for proper investigation and prosecution of this case.”

NAN reports that Adefowora Abiodun (1st defendant), Avwerosuo Otorudo (5th defendant) and Chukwuebuka Ehirim (6th defendant) had been in the EFCC custody on investigation.

Justice Nwite had, also on June 30, declined to grant the bail application filed by the three detained alleged promoters of CBEX.

The judge, in a ruling, held it was obvious that from the totality of the affidavit evidence of both parties, it was glaring that the character of evidence against the defendants was strong.

He also held that due to the nature of the case, the EFCC obtained an order of remand of the defendants by court of competent jurisdiction.

The EFCC, in the affidavit in support of the motion ex-parte filed before Justice Nwite, said sometimes in April 2025, it received an intel bothering on an alleged investment scheme fraud against the defendants.

It alleged that the defendants and their company, ST Technologies International Limited, using another company, Crypto Bridge Exchange (CBEX), perpetrated the alleged fraud and the case was received and assigned to its Cybercrimes Section for investigation.

The EFCC averred that the defendants promised unrealistic return on investment of up to 100%.

“That the victims were made to convert their digital assets into a stable coin of USDT for onward deposit into the suspects crypto wallet.

“That the victims were initially given full access to the platform to monitor their investment.

“That following deposits valued at over one Billion Dollars by the victims, the CBEX investment platform became inaccessible to them and they could no longer withdraw from the investment made.

“That the victims later discovered that the said scheme is a scam.

“That during the course of investigation, it was discovered that the said ST Technologies International Limited, though registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC), it was not registered with the security and Exchange Commission (SEC) for investment purposes.

“That it was also discovered during investigation that the defendants had moved out of their last known address in Lagos and Ogun States.”

The anti-graft agency said that a warrant of arrest was required to place the defendants on red watch list so that they could be traced and arrested to answer to the case against them.

According to the commission, investigation into the allegation against the defendants revealed a prima facie case of investment scam.

It said it would be in the interest of justice to grant the application.

PoliticsBuhari Never Honoured Anyone The Way Tinubu Did To Him - Shehu Sanni by TruthHurts1(op): 3:06am On Jul 21, 2025
Former Kaduna Central Senator, Shehu Sani, has said while alive, late President Muhammadu Buhari never honoured anyone the way President Bola Tinubu did to him.

Tinubu had declared a public holiday on the day Buhari was buried, personally attended his burial, also named a federal institution after the late Nigerian leader, among other recognitions

Sani described the actions as unprecedented and deserving of acknowledgment.

In a post on X, Sani highlighted the series of gestures Tinubu undertook to honour his predecessor.

These include a declaration of a public holiday, physically attending Buhari’s internment, meeting his family, holding a Federal Executive Council meeting in his honour, and renaming a university after him.

“The President physically attended the burial of Buhari, met with his family, declared a public holiday, held a FEC meeting in his honor and renamed a university to immortalise him.

“Something even the late President never did to others. And yet they said he is ‘exploiting the death of Buhari’.

“What would they have said if he had done none of the above? Politics is something else,” the senator tweeted.

The post has continued to generate reactions, amassing over 1,000 likes as of the time of filing this report.

Sani’s remark came amidst growing political commentary over the conduct of the Tinubu administration in the aftermath of Buhari’s passing, particularly from sections of the opposition.

His statement appeared to be a direct counter to criticism from parties such as the African Democratic Congress (ADC), which had accused the administration of using Buhari’s death to polish its public image.

Special Adviser to the President on Media and Public Communications, Mr Sunday Dare, dismissed ADC’s claims as “nothing but an opportunistic exercise in manufactured outrage.”

Dare said it was ironic that the same group accusing the President of politicising Buhari’s death was the one “dancing on his grave” for public attention.

“Their latest press release alleging that President Tinubu’s government is ‘exploiting’ the passing of former President Muhammadu Buhari for political gain is not only dishonest.

“It is an insult to millions of Nigerians who genuinely mourned the loss of a statesman, and who watched the State Burial accorded Buhari with solemn respect and dignity,” he said.

He added that the burial was conducted with complete honour befitting a former leader, with dignitaries from across the world in attendance, and millions of citizens following the events across media platforms.

According to him, President Tinubu is not seeking cheap popularity but allowing “his growing list of achievements to speak louder than the noisy irrelevance of groups like the ADC.”

SportsUsyk Scores Emphatic 5th Round KO Of Dubois by TruthHurts1(op): 2:38am On Jul 20, 2025
Oleksandr Usyk cemented his status as the outstanding heavyweight of his generation with an emphatic fifth-round knockout of Daniel Dubois in their undisputed world title bout at London’s Wembley Stadium on Saturday.

Victory saw Ukraine’s Usyk extend his unbeaten professional record to 24 fights as the WBA, WBC and WBO champion added his British opponent’s IBF belt to his collection.

Usyk dominated the opening four rounds and early in the fifth he dropped Dubois to the canvas.

Moments later he finished the fight in decisive fashion after a trademark left hook left his British rival unable to beat the count one minute and 52 seconds into the round.

It was the second time Usyk, at 38 some 11 years older than his opponent, had defeated Dubois following a ninth-round stoppage success in Krakow, Poland, in 2023, where the Briton was ruled to have landed an illegal low blow in the fifth round.

Lennox Lewis, the last British boxer to be undisputed world champion in 1999, forecast before Saturday’s fight that Usyk would face a vastly-improved Dubois, saying: “Dubois was a baby in the sport and now he’s a man…You’re not going to see the same Daniel Dubois from 18 months ago.”

But after Usyk was roared into the ring by a huge contingent of supporters, many of them waving Ukraine national flags in a 90,000 capacity crowd at Wembley, best known as the London base of England’s national football team, it was largely one-way traffic as their hero conducted a ruthless masterclass against local favourite Dubois.

“38 is a young guy, remember!,” Usyk told DAZN in the ring after dropping to his knees in celebration. “38 is only start!

“I want to say thank you to Jesus Christ. I want to say thank you to my team and Wembley, thank you so much! It’s for the people.

“Nothing is next. It’s enough, next, I don’t know. I want to rest. My family, my wife, my children, I want to rest now. Two or three months, I want to just rest.”

Asked about his next opponent Usyk, who has already twice beaten former world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, added: “Maybe it’s Tyson Fury. Maybe we have three choices, Derek Chisora and Anthony Joshua. Maybe Joseph Parker. Listen, I cannot now say because I want to go back home.”

Dubois insisted he would return to the ring, saying: “I have to commend him (Usyk) on the performance, I gave everything I had. Take no credit away from that man, I’ll be back.”

I remember back then, my lecturer who comes from a prominent Yoruba family was sharing an anecdote with us about a fellow lecturer who was an Igbo man whose home had been attacked by an armed robber and how the Igbo man had overpowered the armed robber with the help of his wife who held down the criminal so her husband could beat him black and blue to the point where the armed robber started screaming for police to come and rescue him😂

It was a very funny story and we laughed even more when our lecturer told us that if it had been a Yoruba family, all you will be hearing is: "Eyin àrá àdugbó, é gbà wá"

I wonder what percentage of the $15 billion Nigeria will be burdened with.
Secondly, why is the cost of a highway between Lagos and Abidjan which will go through several countries almost the same as that of the Lagos to Calabar coastal highway which this APC government wants to build along the Nigerian coastline?

I actually don't have any objection to the coastal highway as long as it goes with developing our port facilities in Calabar, Portharcourt and Warri so as to decongest Tin Can Island.

The European Union has fined TikTok $600 million for violating data privacy laws by transferring user data to China. The Irish Data Protection Commission announced the decision on May 1, giving TikTok six months to comply with GDPR regulations.

The fine includes $551M for the illegal data transfer and the rest for failing to explain its data practices. It's the largest fine ever under EU data laws.

TikTok denied wrongdoing, stating it never gave European user data to Chinese authorities and plans to appeal the ruling.

The decision comes as TikTok also faces a potential ban in the U.S. unless parent company ByteDance divests from it by June 18, 2025, per an executive order.

Romance18-year-old Apprentice Impregnates 10 Girls In 5 Months by TruthHurts1(op): 4:12pm On May 07, 2025
An 18-year-old apprentice has allegedly impregnated 10 girls in just five months, including his master’s daughter and a salesgirl in Anambra State.

Reports say he was first sent to learn a trade under a master, but within three months, he got both his boss’s daughter and a salesgirl pregnant.

This, however, led to his dismissal from the apprenticeship.

The state Commissioner for Women and Social Welfare, Ify Obinabo, disclosed this in a live video on social media on Wednesday.

Obinabo said the situation got worse after he returned to his village.

She said, “I want advice from the public because this one is beyond my capacity.

“This boy was sent to learn a trade at the age of 18 and three months of apprenticeship, and he impregnated his master’s daughter and his salesgirl. He was sent packing. Two months after that, he impregnated eight other girls in the village.”

Obinabo also said the boy’s mother came to her office to report the issue.

According to her, the mother said, “‘Anytime I see a girl coming towards our house nowadays, my heart would jump, please, I need help.'”

Obinabo said, “This matter is beyond me, the reason I want the public to help me come up with a solution. Is it spiritual?”

She said she asked the boy how he was able to convince the girls.

“I asked the boy the magic he uses in luring the girls to bed, but he told me he always tells them that he loves them and would like to marry them any time he acquires wealth.

“This problem is beyond me because of the boy’s age and the number of pregnant girls involved; that’s why I need help to solve it.”

Obinabo did not mention the name of the boy, his mother, or their community, but she called on the public to suggest solutions.

PoliticsAnsaru Terror Group Sets Up Large Terror Camp 93km From Abuja by TruthHurts1(op): 11:46pm On May 06, 2025
Ansaru Terror Group Tightens Grip On Kogi With 8 Cells, Dignitaries Pay For Safe Passage; Nigeria’s Largest Terror Camp Just 93km From Abuja

A growing network of terrorist cells linked to the Ansaru terrorist group is in parts of Kogi State, with at least eight active groups operating in the region, including three positioned strategically between Obajana and Kabba, security sources have told SaharaReporters.

Security sources revealed that the deteriorating situation along the Obajana-Kabba corridor has become so precarious that dignitaries and high-profile travellers now resort to unofficial arrangements through security agencies to secure safe passage along those routes.

“Ansaru, a terrorist group, has eight terrorist cells in Kogi State, with three located between Obajana and Kabba,” one of the sources told SaharaReporters. “Dignitaries now pay through security agencies to get permission to travel along those routes.”

According to sources, even more alarming is the emergence of what is now believed to be the largest terrorist camp in Nigeria, located in Niger State—just under 93 kilometres from the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

“The biggest terrorist camp in Nigeria is now in Niger State, less than 93 kilometres from Abuja,” a source said.

The camp's proximity to the nation's capital raises serious national security concerns.

Ansaru, a breakaway faction of Boko Haram with reported ties to Al-Qaeda in the Islamic Maghreb (AQIM), has long been designated a terrorist organization by the Nigerian government and international bodies. The group is known for targeting civilians, security personnel, and critical infrastructure.

Security analysts have repeatedly called for urgent government action to neutralise all threats from terrorists and other non-state actors and secure affected areas.

Meanwhile, SaharaReporters' attempts to contact the police spokespersons for Kogi and Niger states, William Ovye Aya and Wasiu Abodun respectively, for comments on the development were unsuccessful.

In March, SaharaReporters reported that the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) had accused the Nigerian government, led by President Bola Tinubu, and state governments of tolerating or failing to effectively respond to violent attacks carried out by nonstate actors who justify their actions on religious grounds.

In its latest report, USCIRF stated that various militant groups, including Islamist extremists and Fulani militants, had targeted religious communities across Nigeria with devastating consequences.

In its annual report released in March 2025, USCIRF also urged the U.S. State Department under the Trump administration to designate Nigeria, along with Afghanistan, India, and Vietnam, as additional CPCs.

The report states, “In 2024, the conditions for religious freedom in Nigeria remained poor.

“Federal and state governments continued to tolerate attacks or fail to respond to violent actions by nonstate actors who justify their violence on religious grounds. These actors include Jama’tu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS, also known as Boko Haram) and Islamic State West Africa Province (ISWAP).”

"Bandit groups also participated in attacks against religious communities as well," the report noted. "Violent Islamist groups and some Fulani militants sought to impose a singular interpretation of Islam on individuals and communities in their areas of operation, regardless of these individuals’ or communities’ own religion or belief."

The report highlighted several specific incidents of religiously motivated violence in 2024.

It noted that in January 2024, suspected members of the Jama'atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda'awati wal-Jihad (JAS) insurgent group killed 14 people in Yobe State, including a local pastor from the Church of Christ in Nigeria.

The report further noted that in May 2024, al-Qaeda-affiliated Ansaru gunmen reportedly kidnapped 160 mainly Christian children and killed eight people in Niger State before later releasing the children.

BusinessRe: FG Accuses Binance Of Causing Economic Losses, Seeks $81.5b Damages by TruthHurts1(m): 7:19pm On Feb 19, 2025
That is besides the point. The question we should be asking is how did Nigeria's public funds end up on their cryptocurrency exchange which is the excuse that Tulumbu is using.

Which political party has been in charge of Nigeria's foreign reserves, earnings from crude oil sales, taxation etc since 2015, before and after Binance even came into existence?

So if Nigerian public funds end up in Binance's exchange, which party should be held responsible?

RealityKings1:
Binance a company with no particular physical headquarters... A legitimate company having to do with money and it's similar factors ought to have a physical headquarters if it was legitimate.

Prior to the arrest of binance officials, they were pushing the narrative that binance was owned by a Chinese guy.
Its funny, it's owned by one Tigran Gambaryan, a US citizen.

APC is really the worst thing to ever happen to Nigeria.

The rapid devaluation of the Naira started in 2015 when the utterly incompetent, gworo chewing Fulani Herdman from Daura began ruining the country while Tulumbu stood by and hailed him as a genius.

Binance was not even in existence in 2015, but the Agbado tout wants to hang his blunders on them and make them a scape goat.

Maybe Nigerians will finally learn their lesson after 4 years of this MU-MU ticket inspired incompetence.

There were Christians in Africa long before Christianity came to England and America. I'm always baffled by your type of ignorance

Remember it's a white man believing in the god of his ancestors, so you're not doing the same thing as a BLACK when you convert to Christianity.

The whole of Christianity is based on falsehood because Jesus never existed.

Last week, on February 12th 2025, Larry Sanger, the man who started Wikipedia in 2001, published a lengthy essay laying out his journey from Atheism to Christianity. For most of his adult life, Sanger was a committed skeptic, trained in analytic philosophy—a field dominated by atheists and agnostics.

Though he spent 35 years as a nonbeliever, he never saw himself as hostile to faith, only unconvinced, and his testimony is geared toward those who share that rational, open-minded skepticism.

In this video with Christian pastor and influencer, Sean Macdowel, he explains how studying the Bible indephtly led him to Christ.

I think the use of "Yoruba Muslim" as a term of disparagement on this forum has its roots in Ishaq Akintola, the MURIC man and also some antecedents from Yoruba history

Richtaiwo:
Only lunatics think "Yoruba Muslim" is a disparaging expression. If you call me a Yoruba Muslim, I accept it with full heart.

But do you know what it means to be an ipob jew? It is a derogatory expression for the lost souls without the faintest idea of their origin.
