Ok, then. Have you asked yourself why it is muslims who often "misinterpret" what their holy book tells them concerning violence?

Why is it that its adherents are always shoving the phrase "it is a religion of peace" down people's throat? Have you seen Christians doing the same, trying to defend their religion, and trying to convince people about it's peaceful teachings? Of course not!

You only need so much PR to launder your image when your business stinks. A good reputation doesn't need image laundering. If you are not ready to accept the fact that there is something fundamentally flawed about your religion that makes it have a strong affinity with violence, then you are beyond redemption.

The evidences are overwhelmingly strong, and it is there for even the blind to see.

Oga, I don't know the version of Bible you are using, but the verse I quoted was not abridged, it's the full verse! And no where did I see any arms being laid down in my own Bible, maybe I need the Chinese version you are currently using.

Btw, what's your definition of religious war because you are already changing the goal post: a war in which a religious entity is deeply involved and which is faught in the name of that entity is a religious war.

Hope you know how Christianity was popularised. Constantine and Eusebius killed thousands of other religious worshippers. The popes killed millions.

In the Bible also, Jehovah led war against those who don't serve him but other gods. Isn't that religious wars? Religion is a shame on humanity.

It's a sunday morning and I am attending church service, to my bewilderment three doors away from the church is this mosque and they were having a 'service' on a Sunday morning Now it's not the service that upset me but the fact that despite Lagos state government ban on noise pollution by religious organisations, the mosque had loud speakers outside the mosque in full blast disturbing neighbours, passer byes and church goers. It was then I remembered the muslim rodents who only on Friday vandalised a catholic church in suleja for meeting on a Friday even though the church meeting did not constitute a nuisance to them.

I now wonder what would happen if a church located near a mosque should decide to hold a service on Friday afternoon during their jumat service and blast their external loudspeakers to the highest in a muslim dominated region.

Your guess is as good as mine what adherents of the religion of 'peace' will do.

I would also enjoin you to read Numbers 31 too.
Should we also conclude that all violence propagated under christianity in the past were borne out of personal vendetta?

The forceful conversion of pagans and Muslims alike were carried out to gain souls for who, if not Jehovah? The Christian kings that orchestrated these acts were israelites too? Were they reading another type of Bible with inspiration drawn from opium and not the Holy Spirit?

Except if you would disregard the old testament and say it was directed towards the Israelites, the Bible still remains one of the greatest book of violence in the history of Mankind!
