Actually most politicians are of the same ilk. I know this, most people know this to be true too.

For example, leading up to the 2019 elections, at different times I cautioned three individuals who were going contest elections at national level. Drawn from the East, the Middle Belt, and what is termed the North Central, these were friends and associates who had eaten at my dinning table and whose chequered past I and many others knew intimately. Did they listen? Hell no. The allure of Nigeria's politics was simply too irresistible. Thankfully though, for the sake of their families and children in particular, none of them succeeded in that endeavour.
