Coalition: We’ll register new party as backup to ADC – El-Rufai A chieftain of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, and a key member of the opposition coalition, Nasir El-Rufai, has said a new political party would be registered as a back-up for the African Democratic Congress, ADC. El-Rufai said the new party would be registered as an alternative option to counter potential infiltration by the All Progressives Congress, APC, into the ADC. El-Rufai said there is a tendency that the APC might instigate crisis within the ADC by inciting old members against the new leadership. He disclosed this in an interview with Radio France International (RFI) Hausa Service on Wednesday night.

Soon fubara will be restored back to his governorship seat. |
Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, has declared an end to the political crisis in Rivers State, insisting he owes no one an explanation over his reconciliation with Governor Siminalayi Fubara. Speaking during a media chat monitored in Abuja on Thursday, Wike dismissed growing criticisms surrounding the peace deal with Fubara, maintaining that the matter had been laid to rest. “The crisis is over. Those who were feeding off it are unhappy,” the former Rivers State governor said bluntly. “I don’t owe anybody any explanation.” Wike alleged that some individuals had turned the political unrest in Rivers into a personal economic venture, likening their actions to treating the crisis as a “personal oil well.” He accused them of profiting from the prolonged instability and now feeling threatened by the return of peace. While the details of the reconciliation remain under public scrutiny, Wike’s comments signal his firm stance on moving forward, regardless of opposition or controversy surrounding the truce. https://gistreports.com/post-details.php?id=2025070311430538146

Man laments as engineering professors fail to fix faulty faculty generator in his department. "I was in this faculty some time ago, when the faculty generator had issues, none of the professors of engineering could fix it. They had to look for – my question is why is why is it a faculty of engineering if the diesel power plant had problems and it could not be fixed?" – A Nigerian youth stirs reactions after sharing a surprising experience at his university’s faculty of engineering. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=25GqDvzfn9A?

Wow money is good oooo. See the way they are rushing Asherkine here. Meanwhile, I want to believe that Daniel Regha is asking a petinent question here. Nigerians don't ask questions, which is why we are where we are today and one of the reasons we won't stop celebrating mediocrity for meritocracy. Asherkine is generous, splashing millions on strangers. But, who care to ask about his source of livelihood or what is doing for a living? Nobody cares! All we are after is what we are watching on his page, screaming, Awnn, wao! I need an Asherkine in my life, bla, bla, bla. I'm not saying what he's doing is bad, but how many Nigerians are thinking beyond the euphoria of what we are watching on his social media pages? Asherkine's outing with Becky of which we all watch won't cost him less than 10 million naira. We all did know it was not his first, and it won't still be the last he will spend. Are we saying he'd get the equivalent of this back from the views on Facebook, Tiktok and Instagram? Is that how content creators make their money and splash online? I know some people will still misinterpret this post by ignoring the message and start calling me names, but who cares? If he's being sponsored by brands as being said by some people, is it that those brands are without names? If No, what are the names of those brands? If we don't know alongside how he's making his money, it still takes us back to the question Daniel Regha is asking here, "How does Asherkine make the money he so generously gives away for content?" As far as I am concerned, this question is not too much to ask, and also not a crime for Nigerians to know. And if you're sad with this question, you're one of the problems of Nigeria because this will never happen in your saner climes you won't stop comparing Nigeria with. I come in peace ✌️.
