there are simply too many poor people in Nigeria for us to practice 100 percent capitalism. There's a massive housing deficit in the country as well as food shortage.
we need to focus on socialism and provide mass free housing and food sustainability,then we can have 30 percent capitalism. 80 percent of Nigerians are very poor, 15 percent are comfortable, only 5 percent of Nigerians are wealthy mostly politicians and other CEO or diasporan returnees etc. . Nigerians are simply poor .

out of 200 million population, only 8,000 Nigerians use iphone . most Nigerians use cheap Chinese phone. we can not afford fake lifestyle trying to copying america and other developed countries, we need to get down to reality. Nigerians needs the basics first such as affordable housing ,food , Healthcare, education. if these three are provided, then we would have security. many Nigerians are homeless today,many are squatting with family members. rent is skyrocketing everyday. If most people have affordable housing and food , crime would reduce to barest minimum in Nigeria cos most crimes in Nigeria are about food ,kidnapping, stealing of money to pay rent or buy food. deep down inside Nigerians are good people , na condition make crayfish bend.

maybe many have the money for a iphone but prefer something else....i dont understand why you use a iphone as yardstick....

There are some area's that are very good to stay even without the presence of security Guy's in charge.
The place i stay now is a good example...for the past 2 year's now i have been staying in the area.
I don't even lock my door's at night and our main gate in the compound is not locked even at night.
I can boldly move around even late hours at night without any fear.

I always asked questions thoroughly before moving into any new area.

Other races with developed brains will consider the cause and effect to things and proactively do things that will bring lasting peace and stability.

Nigerians have to decide for themselves, if you want Igbos to remain in Nigeria, the gang up against them had to be scuttled and allow full reintegration through consensus. If that won't work, then let's invite the UN to facilitate referendum because we just can't continue like this.

For those trying to blackmail Igbos that agitating for Biafra again post 2023 won't work if we are denied the presidency, hear this and hear it now; the agitation is rather going to take a more resolute and dangerous dimensions!

Here are the reasons:
1. There is no reason why Igbos shouldn't be allowed to rule in 2023 because everything makes it perfect for them now. Failure to endorse it by other Nigerians will prove to both die-hard Biafra agitators, moderates and pro Nigerians alike that Igbos would forever be treated as second class citizens.

2. It would be difficult for North to succeed itself and also difficult to allow SW to rule again since they've ruled enough, so denying Igbos that haven't ruled for no other reason than we are Igbos won't be acceptable.

3. Agitating for Biafra is an ideology that comes from the mind. It started because Igbos felt they weren't wanted in Nigeria. The perception rose to dizzying heights when Buhari emerged and opened old wounds. If you can notice, why it is reducing again is because Igbos are seeing an opening that there is a chance that we would be reintegrated into Nigeria like it was prior to 1966. However, if that hope is dashed, mark it today that it would be extremely difficult to tame the agitation ever again. And if you think Nigeria can't break, then I'm sorry for you. Nigeria is already facing extremely difficult times and it is not going to end anytime soon. The state is already weakened and a massive force pushing for breakup would be hard to stop.

It is not a threat but common sense, no section would be treated how Igbos have been treated since 1966 and they still believe in the same country. The same yorubas claiming to love Nigeria are doing so because they feel they're getting better deals. Let them pass through what Igbos have passed through and see if they would still love Nigeria.
