UnchangeableGod: The same mindset of 'declare Biafra and then war'. The op is right. The mention of independence, referendum, secession and Biafra terrorises you that the only thing you think about is war. You are in charge of the armed forces doesn't make you right. Might is never right. Read history, most of the rulers who applied raw force to oppress and intimidate people on their right end up miserably and the oppressed people end up getting their freedom. Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin, Saddam Hussein, Charles Taylor, Muammar Ghaddafi, Sani Abacha etc are good (or bad examples). Most of their supporters pushed them to their avoidable ruin. Whatever power you may weild now, there are people stronger than you are. Your position is also transient. I won't blame Divinity for allowing me to be in the same country with folks who reason the way you do, who call herdsmen killers mere criminals and keep mute over their atrocities while those who agitate for freedom without killing anyone are termed terrorists and targeted for extermination. But it will not be long. God is wiser and mightier than the oppressors of this world. Either of two things will happen. The table will turn or we will get our freedom. Thanks. look at you...might is always right in this world...better be the predator than the prey... what makes america or europe different than Adolf Hitler, Idi Amin, Saddam Hussein, Charles Taylor, Muammar Ghaddafi, Sani Abacha etc... whites dont believe in to be passive...look today at europe...they dont even practice the religion they brought to africa no more... |

ivolt: We are talking about corruption here not nuclear weapons, respect or fear or leader, you can never solve a problem by muddling up issues, the same reason we keep going in circle. Corruption is tackled by enforcing existing laws not ineffective showmanship, because the showman will eventually pass away while competent institutions remain.
Corruption only comes up in North korea when a subordinate becomes power hungry. All you want is an abacha type of government where corruption didn't exist. go stvdy human nature...stop looking at white people and comparing them with yourself....whites have a agenda, whats yours??.. |

Cacawa2: What do they mean by "only Nigeria".
These people are truly not intelligent.
Every country has it's definition of terrorism.
A terrorist in Turkey might be a peaceful person in USA. Hence the word "asylum".
You only become a "global" terrorist when the UN Security Council sits to approve.
Nigeria is neither a colony of the British nor subservient to the Americans.
The IPOB keep trying so hard to make it look like Nigeria ought to take instructions from "MASTER COUNTRIES".
Their slave mentality is what will destroy them.
Nigeria stands tall. USA and UK would have to wait. dont mind them...for what did we fight to be free in 1960??...to think for our own selfs thats why..... nigeria is not a colony of any western nation no more...ipob seem to dont get that fact,... they call us zoo,we call them terrorits.....tit for tat....nothing happen.... now,for some python dance.... ...

ivolt: We can learn from china but not north korea. Corruption doesn't exist in north Korea(unless you fall out with dear leader) because saying that corruption exists can get you a death sentence.
For China, it is not the death sentence that minimizes corruption, it is the successful prosecution of accused because at the end of the day most corrupt officials are never executed, they just get locked up for good. what is their not to learn from north korea??....dont you know its better people fear you than respect you??...if you think respect ever worked, then why is america building even more nuclear weapons ?... can you explain that to me ?? |

lovelygurl: First of all I want to apologise for calling you guys Afonjas, Flat heads and Pedophiles. I just wanted something that will catch your attention because tribalism is turning out to be a big problem
I want to start by saying we are one, we are all humans and we all want the same, a peaceful and fulfilling life
You'll see some people here associating certain evil things to a tribe e.g
A man in Ogun was arrested due to killing a person to participate some rituals
Then you'll see comments like 'Ah it's them again the Afonjas, Yoruba demons!'
A guy is arrested for trying to smuggle drugs into a country Ah the flat heads have started again, wannabe israelites, they are so greedy!
A man in Kano rapes a 4 years old girl
The northerners are all Pedophiles!
Some people who claim to be intelligent will come here 'arguing', yet fail to understand that a person is evil because he is evil NOT because of its tribe. Instead of condemning what the person did, the tribe will be attacked. At the end of the day the discussion won't be about the crime anymore but will literally turn into a tribal war.
Instead of creating unity we are busy creating hatred unwillingly or willingly.
Some will say this is for fun. Yet this type of 'fun' encourages hatred. Either you like it or not this type of 'fun' makes you associate certain things with a tribe. It wouldn't be about an individual anymore. It would all be about the tribe. How do you expect the younger generations to think logical when they are brought up with this kind of 'fun'?!
You all call yourself Nigerians, yet everything about you is screaming we are not one. Even if something happens, it wouldn't be a man did this, a lady did this rather it would be an ibo man did this, a yoruba lady did this. Even your politicians say e.g 'Yorubas have been betrayed'. How is this a country if you don't even see yourself as 1
Votes aren’t based on ideological affiliations or preferences, but on tribal identities yet you want Nigeria to grow? You'd rather do business with someone from the same tribe than more experienced individuals who could have been a better fit for a company?
Tribalism judges you by stereotypes , encourages hatred, gives room for discrimination , promotes selfishness and encourages hypocrisy
I believe in beauty in diversity. We are all humans with feelings, who strive for the same thing and we should work towards it instead of fighting against each other. Trying to prove who is the best in this and that is leading us to nowhere. Instead we should try learning from each other and also learn how to grow together. Also a person shouldn't be judged by its tribe but CHARACTER. I say no to tribalism #saynototribalism uhmmm.. ...good points... but the army is still their to beat everybody up when they misbehave.....the army is like a referee in a football match.. sooo,.....but you make sense though... |
