LAGOS IS NOW OFFICIALLY CONFIRMED AS 'TINUBU NIGERIA LTD' embarassed

I have always supported APC because of GMB, but the thought of someone like Tinubu having so much influence is what gives me the shivers
embarassed

THE NIGERIAN FLAVOR OF DEMOCRACY IS INDEED A SICK JOKE.... a democracy where we have to choose between the cronies of a thuggish and insatiably corrupt godfather and those of a shameless exconvict or rudderless and corrupt fisherman cry

A democracy where we are left with no option than to choose an old illiterate coup-plotter over a clueless, corrupt and selfish fisherman...

The options open to Nigerians in this democracy are not at all encouraging... At all points, we never get a chance to choose the good.. we are limited to choosing between two indeterminate evils cry ....

MAY GOD SAVE US ALL embarassed
it is our fault....we forgot completely, that, their is AA,ACPN,AD,ADC,APA,CPP,HDP,KOWA,NCP,PPN,UDP,UPP,,,we could have fit to play this to our advantage,,,,but, now we re starting to realise that,`PERFORM OR BE VOTED OUT`

If I hear
'The heart of man is desperately wicked, who can know it?'
'Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth has already spoken'

Using religion to play down genocide threat on a whole tribe. Imagine the Oba swearing by Allah to carry out his lagoon threat and still trying to use religion to get away with it. This can happen Only in Nigeria!!!!!!!!

Video that I saw him swear by Allah , put his finger in his mouth and raised it up, people are here telling me he was using metaphor. Who is deceiving who?

Even on nairaland here, there are countless threads already opened by his subjects on how to deal with Igbos in Lagos following Oba's threat. His throne is too sensitive for such direct threat without mincing words cos his followers have been incited with so much hate already. In a civilized society, a genocide threat such as this will be given the kind of justice it deserves.

I think Igbos are too peace loving walahi. This matter should be in ICC not in any church or mosque.
So Because it's against Igbos on this one, we have to embrace peace cos we're ONE NIGERIA.
Which other tribe in Nigeria will tolerate such genocide threat? Arrant Nonsense

Spits and Unfollows thread
please calm down..i was shocked myself to hear the words of the oba...but nothing happend...that means the matter must be very serious.....

Thank you brother
You said it all
Come to warri, go to PH, see yoruba people there, you won't even notice they are yoruba's, because to us, they are friends, neighbours, sometimes family but now, in Lagos, some yoruba's want to remind us we come from somewhere else angry but I say this, if yoruba's in lagos try this rubbish they are threatening with ibo's and by extension we South southerners, the response shall be unequal and disproportionate to the insult offered but i pray it never gets to that because it will hurt me to look into my friends eyes and know i have a reason to apologise on behalf of my people because unknown to many lagos based and stay at home yoruba's, yoruba's have a lot more to loose than South southerners if they go head to head.

For Your Information, Lagos is a no man's land. It was a former FEDERAL territory so no amount of ethnic colouration can make it a yoruba enclave. I intend to vie for House of Rep's from Alimosho in 2019. There's nothing ethnic jingoists like your type can do about it. End of story. If you feel aggrieved, join us in the Atlantic ocean and stop exploding your toxic ethnic agenda on social media grin

He was described as having white wooly hair and skin the color of burned brass.

Again, Yaribas, the sons of Canaan will be a possession.

Guy stop weeing on your pants. No one is scared. It is very simple. No one can cripple my company it is nothing to do with Yoruba. They will try to disturb the traders only yo find out that spare part prices will sky rocket and they will come back to open any closed market. Yorubas in this Lagos still drive the highest number of rickety cars and buses.

I am igbo and proudly too. Nothing scares me. Whoever is begging for protection is speaking for himself. If people want us to level this place lets go to war. When the dust is settled there will be no Lagos anymore and survivors would have learnt their lessons

Once again you are wrong..... without Niger Delta revenues from port and Value added tax generated from my region is enough to develop it better than it is now. Before oil exploration started in Nigeria my region's economy was one of the fastest growing in the world, with rapid industrialisation and a vibrant agriculture system.

What your oil has done is to bring in all manners of people to over populate my region, while paying my region peanuts from the proceeds of oil.... heck Lagos state still has to source more than half of its revenue internally while the oil states enjoy their booty and most of their indigenes are making their abode in my region.

To cap it all ...Ondo state produces more oil than the whole of south east.

There are elements of truth in yur argument, but the fact remains Lagos is unique its indigenous population is welcoming(been most of its peoples r descendants of settlers, ancient Lagos was a sparsely populated place) and non discriminating, Lagosians(born and bred)are not just made up of Nigerians of all tribes, but people of different nationalities, I know of people of lebanese, brazilian, indian etc not to talk about africans of different nationalities, that having lived in Lagos 4 decades r naturalized citizens of nigeria claiming Lagos as state of origin, many Niger deltans know only Lagos as home and r rightly from lagos, the main reason why some sections of the indigenous poplace r irked is becos the Pdp canidate decided to use and exploit the ill thought, unwise statement of 1 of many traditonal rulers, the Pdp team shamefully drove a wedge in the peaceful coexistent harmonous nature of the state, people were not happy that JK seem to promote and prioritise the political ambitions, wishes, needs and wants of the Lagos Ibos, and unfortunately the real indigenious Ibos of the SE r a very closely knitted, highly politically ambitious and very driven group. APC on the other hand not only condemed the oba's statement, but distanced themselves away from it, Pdp decided to exploit it 4 some political advantage, why?, u might say Apc was doing damage control, but they already know that most Ibos will vote Pdp, the voting records reveals this, regardless oba's statement or no oba's statemen, is Apc foolish? no, a responsible Party unifies the people it does not divide its people. Lagos state and its peoples r a good shining example to the whole Nigeria, r there not other big city states?( a city state is where a city is so big it becos a state eg Hong kong, London, Singapore) in nigeria if what happened in lagos happened in Kano a lot of innocent blood will hav been wastefully spilled, Nigeria should look to Lagos and the south west in general, the truth most b told, and emulate its peoples the country needs to replicate this all over, the only city which was following Lagos but unfortunately fell into the hands of evil decisive politicians was Jos plateau state look at it now nobody wants to go there. Nigerians need to forge tolerance 4 each other and stand 4 justice 4 all, we should tasked our politicians and demand good governace and condemn injustice even if the individual doing it is our blood brother, How of us can truthfully raise our hands?
good one...you are a lagosian... grin grin grin grin

Igbo people are shroud, igbo people are crude, I don't expect the igbos in washingthon to be any better.

Nigeria can really never be One, cos the people from the South-West are far different from people of the south-East,

The North Enjoys a little Homogeneous nature from one common Hausa Tongue let's assume Islam and christainity wasn't an issue but the Igbo's and the Yoruba's from the same south can never truly ever be one, cos Igbo and Yoruba are like 2 parallel lines that can't meet! Language Barrier, Cultures and Traditions varies widely.

Igbo people are visitors in Lagos and I'm just stating the obvious.

Igbo People can not want what the real owners of the land don't want for themselves and thats why the Oba took a stand once and for all without mincing words.

Nobody Drowns anybody in a lagoon at this age and time and expects to get away with it but I expected the igbo's to have read between the lines and taken it with a pinch of salt, instead they did what was expected of them, displaying their ignorance,

The same ignorance that made them Perish to the civil war!

Oh! How my people perish for lack of knowledge.

If only the igbo people know what they have done to themselves, they would whole-heartedly Herald the Wind of #Change that is about to sweep this country.

It would do igbo people good to catch the Wind of #Change together with the Rest of the Nation because a certain region won't be allowed to hold other regions backwards.

Never!.
thank you...which one igbo was cast into the lagoon, since the oba made that statement....NONE...igbos piss me off,the way they think...what is wrong with them this people... huh huh huh
