I have been trying to conceive for the past 6 months, still hoping. i have taken clomid though for just one month and my doctor gave me doxin tabs. another thing is, my hubby most times doesnt come exempt we use the back side method, does this matters? I have not realy done any serious medical check up, bit i know i am ok. what do i do? please with all sincerity suggest sex pattern/styles that can quicky enhance pregnancy or any other good suggestions. thanks
Are you joking !

Your husband doesn't come unless you use the backside method ?
In other words your husband doesn't get to deposit sp/erm in your vag/ina and only in your rectum. How on earth do you hope to ever become pregnant that way ?
You never said WHY you were using Clomid and given doxin.

Odunnu:
You dont have HiV, if you do, you'd have been told. One's immunity is very low when attackd by TB and may give a false HIV reading. If they query Hiv, you would be told and counselled after the test.
Cheers
Odunnu is right, you would have been told. I'm sorry to hear about your relapse. However don't be to eager to go for an HIV test while you have active TB. The results could be falsely 'un-nice' to say the least.
I hope you can find an effective therapy. All the best.
HealthRe: Disturbing News About A New, Resistent Strain Of Tb. by TSpayne: 11:19am On Jan 20, 2012
It is very frightening indeed.
One additional note of caution: the same phenomenon is already occuring with other species of bacteria and we're also on the brink of TDR TB in Nigeria.
Courtesy of self medication and poor compliance.

HealthRe: Is There Any Solution For Blocked Tubes? by TSpayne: 6:06pm On Jan 02, 2012
A nasty complication of HSGs is Infection. In your case it was very acute. You ought to sue.
I really dont know why everyone is crazy about over-zealous pre-marital fertility testing.
If you were sure you didnt suffer from any infections in the past, there was absolutely no need for an HSG.
Still you should be thankful its only a partial blockage there is still a chance at natural conception. Otherwise you would need a salpingectomy and IVF.
HealthRe: Can Anyone Prescribe Any Drug Or Advice Dat Can Stop Me Frm This? by TSpayne: 9:10am On Dec 26, 2011
Your story isnt very complete or detailed, did u use herbs straight away or you tried antibiotics first. You mentioned tests were done, was that for both diabetes and staph ?

Undoubtedly, you have an infection. You also mentioned 'diabetes'.
A high blood sugar would predispose you to infection anyway. If you are sure the agent is staph, ask the doctor to explain further. Youll find the staph is sensitive to at least one antibiotic. Use it. Hopefully the symptoms shouldn't return.

HealthRe: Low Free Testosterone by TSpayne: 5:04pm On Dec 16, 2011
You may be able to measure your total testosterone but note that not all testosterone measured is actually having effect on you.
Only FREE testosterone has the ability to act on receptors which regulate 'manly' characteristics. So if your testosterone is normal, it doesn't mean its actually working. A lot of it is bound to protein in the blood. Only free testosterone has a working effect.

The symptoms of low circulating androgens are loss of libido, erectile dysfunction, decreased muscle tone, decrease in facial and body hair, irritability, depression, were you feeling any of these ?
If you are above 40 year of age, be assured that your testosterone levels will drop at an average of 1.5% per year. If you're younger this isn't normal.
In any case, you can control the drop or revive your testosterone level.
Stimulating your system within and without you can start to feel a lot better and this would refelect in subsequent lab measurement.

HealthRe: Can Hydrolic Synthetic Brake/clutch Fluid Cure Eczema by TSpayne: 11:49am On Dec 14, 2011
Hydraulic brake fluid is HIGHLY TOXIC, however I've seen people use them on boils, cold sores with speedy results. More research needs to be done its chemical composition. Until then, SEE YOUR DERMATOLOGIST.
HealthRe: Please Help! Does It Mean I Have A Serious Health Problem? by TSpayne: 9:36am On Dec 14, 2011
Don't be ridiculous !
If you did any research online you'll see the normal count for wbc in urine is 0-3. Your 1-2 is within normal.
White cell differential eosinophil count is 8% the upper limit normal is 3%. So this is high.
But its hardly a reason to go writing up your last will and testament for.
Eosinophils are a marker for parasitic infections and certain allergic conditions like asthma.
You said you had malaria, this too is a parasitic infection that could raise your eosinophil count.
Secondly, you took anti-malarial drugs, this and many other classes of drug can also raise eos.
If you don't believe, do another test in 3-4 months.
It should have returned to normal.
HealthRe: Pls Help by TSpayne: 8:55pm On Nov 28, 2011
Hello
'Poly fibroid' is not a medical diagnosis. Is your dr a gynaecologist or what is his specialty ?
Why not see a consultant who can diagnose your real problem. I can't really make out much from your complaint above except that you need specialist help.
HealthRe: Pls Help by TSpayne: 2:50am On Nov 28, 2011
Poster you seem not to be telling the whole truth.
Lactation after surgery for fibroids is very uncommon and possibly unheard of.
Galactorrhoea would more likely occur after an abortion.
The dr gave you stilbestrol which is an old, dangerous and outdated steroid, restricted to use in animals only. However, its a cheap way of stopping a post abortion lactation.
You seem not to have discussed this 'poly fibroid surgery with your husband before having it done.
Could it be that it was actually an abortion you had?
Or perhaps you were unknowingly pregnant and the dr diidnt do a pregnancy test before the myomectomy ?
If so the pregnancy was removed along with the fibroids.
Please fill in the gaps.

HealthRe: Milky Substance From My Bossom by TSpayne:
Galactorrhoea is the main symptom associated with HYPERprolactinaemia. A tumor of the ptuitary gland called a PROLACTINOMA is always suspected in cases of raised prolactin but can be ruled by measuring prolactin blood levels.

Normal blood prolactin is usually within the range of 20-40ng/ml.
Some medications like anti-psychotics may raise the level of prolactin to 50ng/ml or higher, thru the suppression dopamine which is a prolactin antagonist.
Prolactin levels of 200ng/ml and above is indicative of a true PROLACTINOMA.

Treatment is medical with Bromocriptine.(Parlodel)

HealthRe: Effects Of Undescended Testes by TSpayne: 10:41am On Nov 14, 2011
Intresting.
Undescended testicles is an abnormality that begins in the womb before birth ie the testes of a male foetus should have already descended before birth.
CAUSE
The cause is related to an exposure of the male foetus to an insufficient amount of maternal testosterone. This is what causes testicles in a male child to develop during pregnancy, as opposed ovaries in the female. Further testosterone is needed for the testes to 'drop' from the abdomen into the scrotal sac. Obviously, your mother testosterone at the time of your gestation wasn't enough for that.
RISK AND COMPLICATIONS

1. INFERTILITY -HEAT inside your abdomen is at a higher temprature than it is in your scrotum.
This heat could damage your testicles seminiferous tubules causing this.

2. FEMINIZATION
if the testes remain too long in the adbdomen they could not only loose their ability to produce sperm thy could DIE.
If that happened you will lose most manly physical attributes and functions like facial hair, erections and muscle strength.

3. MALIGNANCY
Testes that remain in the abdomen for too long could become cancerous.

TREATMENT
Surgery. Your previous operation was badly done. Not only must the testicles be brought down, they must also be fixed to scrotum to prevent their return. Called an ORCHIDOPEXY.

Seek urgent surgical intervention from a surgeon who knows what he's doing. Do it fast !
HealthRe: A Growth On My Testicles Is This Normal? by TSpayne: 10:49pm On Nov 09, 2011
Malignant growths in the testes present mostly as solid, hard painless lumps initially but could become painful as they advance. Spermatoceles are soft, fluctuant and fluid filled to touch.
The key to differentiating benign from malignant testicular mass is to get examined by a urologist and get the ultrasound done.
However it worth mentioning a malignant tumor in the testes would kill you in 2 years, you've had this 7 years so, relax.
HealthRe: A Growth On My Testicles Is This Normal? by TSpayne: 6:59pm On Nov 09, 2011
I doubt you have a hydrocele but rather a spermatocele.

Spermatocele is a cyst of a
tubule of the head of the
epididymis distended with barely watery fluid that
contains spermatozoa.
They vary in size from several millimeters to many centimeters.

Spermatoceles are generally not painful. However,
some men may experience discomfort from larger
spermatoceles.

CAUSES
Spermatoceles can originate as diverticulum
from the tubules found in the head of the
epididymis. Sperm formation gradually causes
the diverticulum to increase in size, causing a
spermatocele. They are due to continuity
between the epididymis and tunica vaginalis.

They are also believed to result from
epididymitis or physical trauma. Scarring, of
any part of the epididymis, can cause it to
become obstructed and may form a
spermatocele.

EXAMINATION
Spermatoceles can be discovered as incidental
scrotal masses found on physical examination by
a physician. They may also be discovered by self-
inspection of the scrotum and testicles.
Finding a painless, cystic mass at the head of the
epididymis, that is confirmed to contain fluid and can be clearly differentiated from the testicle, is generally sufficient.
If uncertainty exists, ultrasound
of the scrotum can confirm if it is spermatocele.
Consult a urologist.

TREATMENT
Small cysts are best left alone, as are larger cysts
that are an asymptomatic condition. Only when
the cysts are causing discomfort and are
enlarging in size, or the patient wants the
spermatocele removed, should a
spermatocelectomy be considered. Pain may
persist even after removal.
Spermatocelectomy can be performed on an
outpatient basis, with the use of local or general
anesthesia.
A spermatocelectomy will not improve fertility, so I hope you are not already compromised.

RECOMMENDATION

Do a Seminal Fluid Analysis before tying the proverbial 'knot'.
