let me give you an example that will highlight Atiku's tactical error in giving peter OBi the VP slot and the mathematics of elections.

lets say you are in a class and contesting for class president, there are 6 voters and 2 candidates (you and your rival lets call him Shehu)

Your rival seems to have 3 votes and you have 2, the 6th person (lets call him Chike) hates Shehu your rival and will never vote for him come rain come sunshine. The problem is that even though Chike is your guy, he may or may not turn up to vote but if you can incentivize Chike he will definitely turn up and vote for you. As it stands you are going to lose. One of Shehu's supporters Remi is a disenchanted and undecided but will likely vote for Shehu if nothing changes. You have a carrot of deputy class president to offer, who do you offer it to?

your answer will determine your understanding of how elections work.

if you give the slot to chike, the vote is 3 3 but if you give the slot to Remi the vote now becomes 3-2 in your favour and if Chike actually votes it becomes 4-2 in your favour. I hope you now understand the power of taking votes from your opponent.

Election is mathematics, Atiku and PDP chose sentiment. it was always going to be difficult to unseat Buhari but he shot himself in the foot by choosing Peter Obi because peter Obi has no votes to offer, that PDP didnt already have
Just look at the huge pile of nonsense.
We wouldn't be talking this nonsense if buhari had not rallied the north on an anti southern bias.

Your 16years of opposition is coming back.

He is an idiot.
He went and Build it in lekki. Is it those rich guys there that will buy your product?

If he had built it in his region, he could have used sentiments to push and sell his products like innoson is doing.

Innoson would succeed where he has failed.

Apc isn't fielding a yoruba man or any southerner
I honestly wouldn't mind if APC fields a Yoruba and PDP fields a strong northerner.

Let us play the 2015 elections again the other way round, and show them that there is nothing special about their politics of treachery.

it will NEVER happen! of that I am sure In the same way as you havent forgotten the civil war despite the fact that most of you were not born, so also the North will never forget sardauna and Balewa.

IBO presidency will never happen in Nigeria. once one party announces an Ibo presidential candidate, all the other party has to do is announce someone from ANY other region and game over.
Ogà shut up.
It will happen and there is nothing you or your generation can do about it.

Quoting you is just to give you an underserved importance.

Osibanjo lost in his own polling unit in Lagos.
That is the Peter obi effect.

If not for buhari that hammered atiku in the north, that election for mad.

Se has the lowest votes of all the votes, Se will always vote for PDP whether the candidate is Ibo or hausa. Therefore there is nothing to gain by giving the presidential slot to the SE. Atiku paid dearly for giving the VP slot to the SE, If PDp havent learnt their lesson they never will.

sentiment does not win elections arithmetic does. if I already have all your votes and I know that whatever I do you will not vot for my rival, what do I have to gain by bribing you with presidential or VP slot, when I can give another zone with much higher numbers who weren't going to vote for me and steal votes from my rival? This is why Atiku lost!!!!!
Atiku lost because he stood no chance against a buhari.
I know people that would have voted for PDP if it was anybody but atiku.
In fact Peter obi helped him massively in the south in galvanising intelligent southern votes and Igbo and SS votes everywhere.
Atiku got over a million votes in akwa ibom. No Yoruba candidate can do that for him.

If peter obi ran for President, those bagages of corruption that affected atiku would not be there.

Whatever we do is.not your concern.
If we decide to run, it is.our discretion.
If we decide to play the long game, it is still within our discretion.

If the south West were so smart they should have ran against Jonathan in 2023. The lose would have been landslide.

Because you are now among the incumbent administration, you suddenly feel politics have changed.

you are talking a lot of nonsense

1. Election is a numbers game. If you dont have the numbers you cant influence an election.

2. PVC has meant manufactured numbers have gone down, which is why manufactured votes from SS and SE have been going down in the last 2 elections.

3. The SE wasnt VP but it was a lesson to the north. The north have tradionally less trust for the SE than the SS. Dont forget the Igbo coup killed all theor traditional politicl leaders in balewa and Sardauna...they havent forgotten and will not forget.

4. Division in this country only happenned when the SE were removed from the corridors of power for the 1st time in the history of the country. Under every disposition The SE elite have always been beneficiaries even if they wernt in Power. They fuelled the division when they put all their eggs in PDP and lost.

3. There is not block vote which is why the SE vote is irrelevant and the SW is the real battle ground and has been since 2015, it's the only region where the voyers change their votes.

4. I dont care who becomes president, all I am saying is SE will not produce the president 100%

5. I have already said that things will be different in 2023 because the Buhari influence in the North will be diminished.

6. The North will NEVER sanction a SE president

6. i have no hopes, i am just giving you an unbiased analysis.
You would be alive to see a south east president soon.
I hope you don't commit suicide. Not that I would care.
PoliticsRe: 2023: Only South-West, South-East Disagreement Can Keep Power In North – Ahamba by TSRC: 11:44am On Aug 27, 2019
The odds favour PDP in 2023 especially with an Igbo candidate.
We would clear the south with ease.
If the PDP can still gain the states they got in the.north and take advantage of buhari's absence to do better in the K States, then APC is gone.
They did very well in the governorship election in kano.

That is why buhari wants to infiltrate the south with his ministerial list.

From the 2019 elections, He knows PDP already has one leg in the final and the north is anyone's game.

But Hausa still prefer yoruba than Igbo.
That is a lie.
Don't mistake buhari popularity for anybody else.

Once he leaves that seat, the north is fair game.

Look at how many states atiku got in the north.

If not for buhari cult status in the K states, APC was a goner.

South-West will present its candidate under APC, let South-East preserved its own candidate under PDP. Then we meet at the polling booths. However, I know that South-East know that it cannot defeat South-West candidate at the polls, so I will not be surprised if South-East decline to produce one of its politicians as Presidential candidate but instead support another Northerner against a South-West candidate.

Losers will always be losers. We, the South-Westerners are waiting for you in 2023. We shall teach you POL 103: Political Strategy and Manipulation in African Contemporary Society.
Where was your contemporary political sagacity in 16years when the south west were running around like political orphans.?
Even obasanjo your son ran to the east.

Because you managed to leverage on a northern coalition against a Southerner, you people now believe your butterfly is a bird.

We will meet in the polls in 2023.

I'm not talking about south west I'm talking about what is happening in Enugu. Nothing like herdsmen here, even the kidnappings happening in Kaduna, Nassarawa or even SW you mentioned are not by herdsmen. They are made up of various tribes . In the north you get more of locals that have gotten access to guns most times the whole community even know who the kidnappers are some were former farmers, cattle rustlers just about anybody that has been convinced crime is the only way they can survive. The herdsmen narrative is becoming stale and the media publications are not helping matters with headlines like " suspected herdsmen" alleged herdsmen" . The people that kidnapped Siasia's mum where they herdsmen? The ones that killed the reverend father where they herdsmen? But when it first appeared in the papers they ran with the herdsmen narrative atleast they know that will sell papers. Before the herdsmen angle these kinds of crimes have been going on just that now there are more guns coming into the country and the same security services that are suppose to curtail and secure our borders are the ones sabotaging us. That's what we should be talking about now not sensationalism.
Enugu state is peaceful state. We have seen reports of herdsmen raping and murdering across the country.
The south East does not exist in a vacuum.

One thing I love about this man is that, he was never accused of corruption even by his enemies so I am well confident that he will deliver and restructure the prison system and other agencies under his ministry.

Tinubus products are of high quality. Very pro-active and brilliant.

In a modern society, the purpose of prison is to change the inmates to a better person and also integrate them into the society after the completion of the jail term but unfortunately, the purpose is being defeated with much corruption in the system.
Go and check our growth rate and tax remittance to the FG.
Tinubu products have turned the country to analog.

I agree with you on this. I have had some failed transactions but this happens everywhere.

Nigerians need to travel to other African countries to see how far we have gone. I was in Ivory Coast a year ago and they don't have instant payment. It takes a minimum of 2 days or so. I met a Nigerian there and we struck a deal. She gave me her diamond bank account number. I transferred some money and she gave me the equivalent currency at a good rate. The ivorien was shocked at the spread of the whole thing. We were done in 30 mins.

I also spoke with a friend who works in a renowned consulting firm. He says some western countries have visited Nigeria to better understand how we achieved NUBAN. We have really come a long way. We can abuse the previous government all we like but we don't realize how liberal and enabling the environment was.

Sometimes, I wonder what NUBAN would have been like if it was attempted now. Hopefully better.
It is the quality of the economic team and an integrated economic frame work headed by the coordinating minister for the economy.

We don't have such people in the system again.
what we have now are politicians and tinubu jobbers.

And the economic growth and level of private sector innovation has drastically dropped.

Too bad.
