Hi All, Please I need your assistance to this question. Tstunt: Hello
I recently received a notification via email to book my appointment but I'm hesitant to book because my plans have changed.
I will still want to travel to the USA but I need to go to the Netherlands first before for an extended period.
Is it possible to change my interview location from Abuja to the Netherlands without making another visa payment? Any ideas, please? |

Pls, these dates you guys are talking about, are they dates for fresh visa interviews? As in has the procedure chaged from submitting your ds160 form and proceeding straight to search/chose a date? 1 Like |

Thanks for the update. Debbieeeeeee:
I will suggest you keep ringing them or sending emails to them. I got my approval to schedule an appointment for submission in less than 15 minutes, I was surprised because based on what I read on NL I thought it’ll be a forever wait time. |

Hello House, I applied for a USA B1/B2 visa in June Ending. Upon filling out the https://portal.ustraveldocs.com/ to book an appointment, I was informed I will get am email to book an appointment. When I waited for a week, I was worried, I sent an email requesting to know the delay in sending me the link to book an appointment, to which they responded that I will receive an email once my request is approved. Now I am worried because I need to attend a conference in October this year. Anybody in such a situation or have experienced such should please advise me on what to do. |

Please what other thread? Please provide a name or link to the thread you are talking about. flourishing247:
Ask on the other thread. You will get better answers from experienced people. Are you sure the hospital didn't give you a discount? If yes, then it could be the reason. |

A link would have sufficed. Rollyxxmv: Morning everyone, so i took my time & went back to IRCC page and had to read everything slowly and even the Nigerian Advisory. I deduced things. immigration is law and law supposedly have different interpretations. To pass the law, u must have fulfilled all possible conditions when weighed front/back or even sideways. In my case, after checklisting, i was able to deduce the reasons for my first refusal, and even particularly for the second refusal (hopefully gscms notes will agree with the latter). It was glaringly both my bloody mistakes. So my advice to us hopefuls, if you've got time, go back and read & digest things there slowly. You'll find out a whole lot we did wrongly. Still come back and lets all talk about it here. My thoughts though.. i just got rejigged, man I'm not backing down on this journey. 1 Like |

Do you mean 25 distinct documents or by pages? Because there are some documents that has up to 8 to 10 pages per one. Naijaforeigner: I noticed 3 applicants submitted almost 25 documents for an online application... wetin happen? That's way too much documents for an online application. You can do that for Paper application, not online.
Do you know the reason why most of you are being refused is because the visa officers cannot even see and clearly read your documents because you have had to shrink and shrink those documents to fit? You all are submitting too much documents.
I can't even understand why anyone needs to submit 25 documents for an online application.
Please I beg you in God's name, for online applications, submit only few necessary documents.

Hian! Wahala dey o.Austacus:
Hi,
It was formerly known as CAIPS FILE. CAIPS FILE/GCMS NOTE are the same thing, it is used for application made outside Canada like Canada visa offices or consulate whilst FOSS is used for applications that are made from within Canada. So if you're already in Canada, you don't need Caips/GCMS, you'd rather apply for FOSS.
If you apply for GCMS notes and you declare your siblings in your application, FOSS report would be carried out on them and might be added to your GCMS notes.
If your sibling came to Canada to study and divert to refugees for quick PR/citizenship, or have a criminal record in Canada, it's not advisable to declare them in your application. 2 Likes |

Crystalheart: Good day house
So I have been filing my application and I need clarification on these:
1. Is it normal not to have column to upload medical? because I can't find it on my portal
2. Also, since the schedule 1 form is a page, how do I fill my spouse information?
3. My sponsor is not in Nigeria, can I do the affidavit of support here and have it scanned to him to append his signature?
I look forward to your replies... Thanks. If you clicked yes on the question in the questionire that says: 'have you lived 6 months or more than in any of the designated countries? You will get a medical request form but if you click no, you wont have the medical request form in the list of forms to submit. But my question is this, I clicked yes to the question and have the medical request. How do I upload it? I downloaded the form and tried ticking the box yes( do you want to be informed of your medical request but it doesn't safe. Please, how do I submit this form, ticked or not? 1 Like |

dommakavelli: Yes, I understand now. In this case, I believe you will include Kobi in the Alias part. So this is what to do, click yes to unlock section 2, Leave Family name blank and just write Kobi in given name box.
Thanks bro. |

dommakavelli: Your question is not clear. How many names do you have on your birth certificate and passport? Are the names the same? Do you have another name on any of your documents that are not on your birth certificate and passport?
If you have John Doe Musa on your passport and your school certificate has only John Musa. the Alias doesn't apply to you. But if you have legally changed your name, maybe you got married and your surname changed, then the Alias section applies to you.
This is the situation. My birth certificate and Passport has Nwanze, Kelechi Emeka. This name is the same with all my academic credentials but my shares certificate has Nwanze, Kelechi Kobi. "Kobi" is my third name which is not included in any other document except on my shares documentation. I hope you understand now? My question is does the alias apply to me? |
