yarimo: He was just commending just to fool his Obidients to look like he is smart in finance Haaaaaaa Yarimo no go kee person. He praised Cardoso to safe face for many blunders he made in the past one month. 1. That the government should negotiate with bandits 2. That government should release MNK 3.That the president didn't call Governor Makinde. 4. That the government is after his businesses, life and that of his supporters Obi simply didn't have good adviser and there are no body that manages his speeches. He just chose to be brutal and raw with his choice of words and subject he comments on. Playing Trump type of opposition in Nigeria is Obi greatest demarketing strategy as he has no organized media machinery to push his narratives. He only rely on Obidients who are quack and lack emotional intelligence to project his intentions. Looking at Twitter, FB and Nairaland will confirm my statement that Obidients are the evil fashioned against Obi's progress with their aggressive, illogical, insulting and bigoted views they push on SM |

Obidients don't vote councillors, HoA, HoR, Governor and Senators. It is only Obi their presidential candidate they will vote so that when he becomes president he will use the miracle he used to obtained his ticket to turn Nigeria to paradise. |

Sheuns: First off, the person who parked the vehicle in the alleged wrong spot wasn’t Peter Obi it was a police officer.
Second, there’s no proof that the said vehicle belongs to Peter Obi.
Wrong parking is not a criminal offense, you only issue a fine or impound the vehicle. The impounded vehicle must be released after the fine is paid. If Dangote truck hits you, who will you prosecute, the driver or Dangote company? |

Right..

Beautifulday: First of all, kidnapping happening in a country shows the failure of the president and his government.
The first duty of the president is to protect his citizens.
If your parents are kidnapped under any circumstances, it is neither there fault or yours. It is the fault of the president.
If he can't do his job he should resign.
Enough of this blackmail Even if you can't reason property it is the problem of the President. |
Politics › Re: Oyo State Kidnapping Was Staged by Ttalk: 11:58am On Jul 11 |
Beautifulday: It is sad that the lives of Nigerian citizens are being used to play politics.
Gov. Makinde was full of lamentations yesterday. That he declared to run for presidency in the up coming election. School children with their teachers were kidnapped a few days later.
Some lost their lives in this kidnap saga.
The politics that was played on president Jonathan is what was played on Governor Makinde.
Before you start making noise under this post. I want you to look at the pictures attached to this post.
The school children that were kidnapped were on the school uniform. When they were released, they were on normal clothes.
For people who have been in the forest under intense pressure for two months. How are they looking better than when they were kidnapped?
Who was feeding them?
We have seen kidnapped victims released multiple times in this country. Most not up to two months but they never looked healthier.
Who are those behind the kidnapping.
If the government don't get those guys, those guys are either in government or they are the government. Can you just imagine, if the government pick you up now to tell us what know about the staged abduction, you will start crying |

The fact that those kids were kidnaped from their school and had to spend weeks in captivity is a failure already given the high number of kidnaping incidents that have occurred in this country Think before you type Shey you will be my editor? Eight arrested and others neutralized. The rescue just happened. The children and their teachers have not been handed over to Oyo State government and their families. Why the hurrying to release pictures. Most likely DSS are still interogating those arrested. Just few hours ago that this happened and people want security agencies to play to the gallery by releasing pictures anyhow.
The military hasn't released detailed account of what happened. Report has it that a policeman died and two or three military personnel died.

Julibet: Chief not just you feel this way, I'm honestly beyond disgusted.
I've just confirmed that a disturbing number of this government's supporters on NL are utterly despicable. In their warped, pathetic little echo chamber, they've somehow convinced themselves that because some of us are critical of this government, we must have been rooting for innocent children and teachers to remain in captivity, to suffer longer in the bush, to endure even more trauma, or worse, to be unalived.
Think about how morally bankrupt that is.
You're looking at children who were abducted, families who lived through weeks of absolute terror, teachers who suffered alongside them, and your first instinct is to turn it into a loyalty test for politicians? Your first reaction is to type 'Obidients won't sleep well tonight.'
That isn't political disagreement. That's the complete erosion of basic human decency.
I read those threads and I just shook my head. The sheer lack of empathy was staggering. Everything has become "our side" versus "their side," to the point where even the suffering of innocent children is weaponized for cheap political points.
What the hell happened to being human first? Since when did compassion become partisan? When did people become so blinded by politics that they could look at traumatized children and think, "This is an opportunity to score points against the opposition"?
Some of you on NL seriously need to log off and reconnect with your humanity. Stop being selective and check thread that carries the story and see the comment of your Obidient brothers |

Ofunaofu: I honestly don't know where all this bitterness you're pouring into my mentions is coming from. Whatever has you this upset has nothing to do with me.
Criticizing the performance of a public office holder isn't hatred, it's part of democracy. If every criticism is labeled Obidient hatred, then accountability has become a forbidden word.
As for closing every opportunity for any candidate, Nigerians, not you, not your self inflicted bitterness will decide that when the time comes. Until then, people are free to praise or criticize any government based on its performance. That's not a criticism, that is a witchcraft disguised as hatred. It is not everything one should play politics with. I criticize Obi and I tackled Obidients but that won't make me take it personal to the extent of wishing any of them to experience what those innocent children passed through. There should be a place for everything, Many of my younger ones started as Obidients but have all moved away because the culture Obidients displayed are not only alien but inhumane and can turned anyone to a sadist. At this point, just like many of you have chosen, Obi chances of becoming President is perished and buried unless the man you hate so much doesnt accommodates many of you in his government and into Lagos state civil service and institutions. If there should be anyone among the politicians that have embraced your people in his government that person will definitely be Tinubu. |

zopaks: BREAKING: ALL ABDUCTED OYO SCHOOLCHILDREN, TEACHERS RESCUED
All the schoolchildren and teachers abducted during the May 15 attack on Ahoro-Esiele community in Oriire Local Government Area of Oyo State have been rescued.
The victims were kidnapped when heavily armed gunmen invaded the community, abducting 46 pupils, teachers and the school principal, an incident that sparked nationwide concern.
The abduction turned tragic days later when one of the kidnapped teachers, Michael Oyedokun, was reportedly beheaded by the abductors.
Details of the rescue operation, including whether any suspects were arrested or the circumstances surrounding the victims' release, have not yet been disclosed by the authorities. Nice one from the security agents, the government and everyone who assist in rescuing the abducted children. Enemy of Nigeria will not succeed. Those that want to use the abduction as political campaign will fail. |
