Emefiele built the estate with 100% stolen funds. Because his salary cannot build an estate ,that size.
Try say another thing. Do you expect Emefiele to have imported the cement used in Nigeria from Congo?

With the removal of the cancer, what has the ordinary man on the street benefitted?

Lest you forget what subsidy removal means. It means the help Nigerians were getting from government was eliminated, without anything in return
If you think any government would have retained fuel subsidy then I shouldn't be having conversation with you because you have a special orientation to get out of such mentality. It again reveals your lever of understanding of Nigeria economy

Politics › Re: Publish The Version Of The Tax Bills Received From The National Assembly - SERAP by Ttalk: 6:37pm On Dec 21, 2025
aribisala0:
Things that should be simple are complicated unnecessarily
This is not the first time we are hearing this

We hear it almost every year with the budget

The onus is on the National Assembly to put in place procedures to forestall this

Immediately they agree a bill and transmit it they should publish what they transmitted
Also they are supposed to be present when the president signs . Did they receive a copy where is it

When a law goes into several pages does the president sign every page

Finally this question of GAZETTING. is it defined in the constitution
Why is it for the executive to gazette a law?
If Nigeria signs a treaty with Togo is it Togo that gazetted
GAZETTING should be owned equally by the executive and legislature
What does it mean and does the National Assembly have a procedure for checking
Any Word Processor will check within 1 minute

Why has it taken so long

As a safeguarding procedure in future immediately the National Assembly transmits a bill to the president
They should share it with Nigerians
1. On their website
2. The Nigerian Bar Association
3. The Governors
4. State Houses of Assembly
5. Supreme Court
6. Major media Houses
7. NLC
8. NANS

Let Nigerians see what was transmitted in an atmosphere of transparency
Every proposed bill is given to each of the Federal legislator for scrutiny and debate, and once the bill is passed and accented to by the President, it becomes an Act and copy of the act is equally sent to all federal legislator.

It is funny to see a presidential candidate will subscribe to this type of rumour when he could have contacted any of the legislator at the Nass for a copy.

Traditionally most of the major bills are done with some minimal ceremony where the Clerk of the Nass, SP, Speaker and other principal officer of the legislator can witness the signing of such bill by the President.

Nigerians just like to dramatise everything and add their beer parlour gist to every topic and turn a straight forward issue to a controversial one, just like Peter Obi have joined the rumour mongers to embarrass himself

Go and ask your Governor.

States collect allocation and are expected to use it for development. Nigeria is a Federation with states as sun national with certain autonomy. We are not practicing a centralized government or a Unitary system where all blames go to the centre

It is sad that majority of the Nigerians are increasingly becoming ignorance and only rely on rumour and lies. It baffles me to see Obi who aspired to become president of the country will swim in the tide of this spurious rumour when he can just point to Nigerians the aspect that were altered.

It is a shame that such people don't even know that the purpose while copy of bill and the act are sent to each legislator is to guide against this type of thing.

At least we have LP legislators, let Obi approach them to get copy of the bill and the Act and indicate the altered aspect. That shouldn't be too much for an opposition leader who only carry rumour and exposes his shallow knowledge about governance even after ruled a state for 8years

GOVERNORR:
Because the idiota just got confirmation from FIRS that evidence has be burnt along side other shady deals as requested

Nigeria is in hands of Cartels
You can do better than this.

FIRS are not the custodian of law.

If you want to verify whether the tax law has been doctored just approach any Federal legislator from your state and request for the bill of the tax law as well as the act of the tax law.

If you don't know what this is I will break it down to a level you can understand.

A bill is a proposed document either by private individual, execcutive arm or legislative arm that seeks to alter existing provision on the existing law through legislative process.

An act is a law that has been passed by the national Assembly and assented by the President to become a law.

Copy of a bill and an act is given to 360members and 109 Senators of Federal Republic of Nigeria.

You can approach any of them to get a copy each and indicate to the public which aspect has been altered

But tinubu has repeatedly mentioned Nigerians are suffering and are in pains because of his policies. So do we believe tinubu or do we believe his asslickers?

Point of correction, I owe no loyalty to any politician and am not very passionate about who becomes the president, I guess that's the difference between and you tinubu worshippers
Your question is a testimony that you havent bought rice this December.

Nigeria is over 200m people, let your statement be judged by Nigerians who are experiencing first hand drop in price of items.

Buckle up your hustle so you won't depend on SM for the price of staple food such as rice

Dishonesty! You removed subsidy and devalued the currency at the same time, thereby skyrocketing the prices of all goods and services, including transportation costs and costs of farming inputs. But somehow, you expected farmers and supermarket owners to maintain similar prices prior to your ill-timed policies. Even construction costs for already awarded road projects increased and they had to undergo contract variation. The Thailand and U.S rice he is importing today are only cheaper because of a deliberate policy of support and subsidies from their nation's government over a long period of time. All investors who invested in rice mills are counting their losses. What Nigerian sector is currently doing well today with government support and what is our competitive export advantage? Even Dangote Refinery is being sabotaged with fuel imports due to their vested interests in Malta Refineries. These importation policies are good for short-term optics but it will cost us in the long-run, just like the policy of negotiating with bandits up North to gloat about "peace" while the "repentant" bandits migrate down South.
What pushes inflation and high price of goods is more money in circulation pursuing few goods and not the nonsense you post out there.

The abnormal inflation we experience was due to the over printed naira that exceed the cap of way and mean to the tune of over 20trillion naira in an economy of annual budget of merely 18 trillion during Buhari.

The misallocation of resources and deliberate diversion of foreign aids to the north who are less productive like it's southern counterpart are the major reason for food inflation.

Anchor borrowers money was channelled majorly to the north and emphasis was placed on massive rice production but because the people didn't cultivate any rice, the price skyrocketed to 120k for 50kg.

This was a time when the northern terrorist were collecting levy from farmers and sacking communities who are predominantly farmers

Making excuses for the North betray your patriotism and only show your tribalism and born to rule mentality that exist among some clique of northerners like you.

Tinubu has proven for the first time in the history of Nigeria that price of goods that goes up can actually come down, I can't help you if you can't see it

Which brand of rice is 55k? Big bull? Mango? Caprice? Mama africa? Which one exactly

Those saying things have come down are either ignorant or evil

Tinubu took rice to over 100k from 50k and now 85k. What exactly is the cumulative effect of his policy on food affordability?
Price of rice was above 60k in 2023 when Tinubu became president, today the average price is 50k, you can even get quality foreign rice in some part of Lagos at 47k but you are here painting a different picture.

If your idea is for Nigerians to suffer so people can consider your Peter Obi, I assure you that God will reject it

Buhari that chooses your part ended up with anchor borrowers money and printing of 20trillion out of way and mean cap to give to your brothers up north but they squandered it by marrying many wives and used the remaining to buy guns, the consequence of which we suffer today through insecurity and inflation

Welcome home Mr President, the dividend of your effort s beginning to yield better result.

This is the first time in the history of Nigeria when the price of basic items will come down.

Your blunt decision to dealt a permanent death blow to the insecurity is well appreciated. The narration of herders farmers crises that is perpetuated to deceive gullible Nigerians has been shred to pieces. Today we can now call the terrorist what they are and the entire world is beginning to isolate them for total destruction. Kidnappers and bandits now bear their surname as terrorist and their enablers both online and offline have become dumb.

We would want you to push further in year 2026, so your opponent would be completely shamed.

Presently you have no opposition, but we want you to help them save their money so they won't even attempt to contest due to your record that they can't contend with.

Please remember to treat the Lagos Obidients who didn't travel home well so they will have a story of your benevolence to tell
