by 2027, Nigeria would have had 12 years of Muslim rule.

Trump and a huge chunk of Nigerians will not want an extra day of muslim presidency beyond 2027.

A Christian must emerge as the president
We would instead vote for Remi Tinubu or Seyi Tinubu. Since you guys have stop using your faculty it is better to just flow with your entertainment.

It's a good thing Trump finally declared Nigeria as a country of particular concern.

Trump will help by removing the Muslim/Muslim ticket. Nigeria is too big for this nonsense and insensitive combination.

They will be replaced by either a Christian/Muslim or Muslim/Christian combination in 2027.

Bookmark this post for future reference.

Tinubu will rule for only one term.
Trump statement about insecurity is timely and call on the FG to up their game in the fight against insecurity, but you guys should stop politicizing everything out of hate and not out of genuine concern to end insecurity.

What childish talk is Trump is going to remove Tinubu, don't you guys feel ashamed the moment you begin to speak like a toddler?

Pathetic

Trump should extend Visa barn to the likes of Reno Omokri who will be swift to attagonize bcs of his stomach. If Saudi Arabia (the so called Islam headquarters ) can deny Gumi of entry and yet Gunmi is still a freeman infact all APC supporters and apologist should be black listed and labeled persons of consign angry
This is where I found it difficult to relate with the Obidients with their penchant for lies fabrication.

El Rufai who masterminded the decimation of Southern Kaduna people is the darling of Peter Obi and the SE people, we Peter Obi lately fraternising with Gumi because of political correctness yet you are here dishing out lies, who do you guys like this?

The Europeans setting up their colony in Lagos was the very reason why Lagos advanced ahead infrastructurally than other places, it was not due to the excellence of Yoruba, No, Yoruba had no hand in the development of Lagos state especially in 1914.

Go and read your history and stop talking about what you don't know
Obagfemi Awolowo set up different industrial estates in Lagos state, and no region has beat those industrial estates up till today, give it to the SW leaders, they are not perfect but they are better than others

That's a question a sane mind need to ask. Why the assembly of hate from certain zone and supporter of certain candidate is not only obsession but has turned to affliction caused by severe addiction to hate.

How do people who hate relax and enjoy life?

owobokiri:
Ruben Abati has always been a Yoruba fanatic in the mode of Bayo Onanuga. You need to go and read about his write up against the east during the Obasanjo years. Dude got himself into hot waters writing about how Obasanjo will "cut off" the heads of Biafrans. It nearly cost him his job at The Guardian then..
Tribalism cones naturally to this bunch. Its all about ethnic defence.

They are always like that. They fooled a lot of people with their anti Abacha tirades during the NADECO days. Folks thought they were pro democracy fighters in the mould of Gani Fawhenmi and Fela. No. They were/are not! Both Abati and Onanuga are all tribal irridentists, who hopped on the pro democracy bandwagon to climb politically and professionally, and are now exhibiting all their noxious tribal penchants, since their tribesman is in power..

That guy Rufai wants to see a nation that is working. His heart is really bleeding for the kind of mess we have found ourselves in. Unfortunately, there is nothing he can do about it especially when in the midst of Nigerians who love their lives more than anything and so not ready to fight the fight.
He want that but cant obey common traffic rules, claiming he knows somebody and will call someone for the traffic officer who arrested him.

He is just a hypocrite like Obi and his disobidient family

Everything you stated about Nigeria is same in Ghana but they celebrated a coup against bad governance.
What role was played by Abdul Abdullah and who is he?
Adamu Abdullahi is former APC chairman who endorsed Ahmed Lawan as APC candidate when Buhari from NW just spent 8years.

You know some actions are equivalent to coup in political circle.

He would live the rest of his life regretting that action and it's a big dent on the zone he comes from
Politics › Re: SB Adamu: Profile Of Air Force Officer Detailed To Kill Ribadu In Failed Coup by Ttalk: 8:01pm On Oct 30, 2025
At least our Ibo brothers were not among the allege plotters, not look critically that there were blend of NC and NW in the list.

Suffice to say that the unending infiltration of bandits and herdmen in NC is as a result of internal collaboration with the external killers.

The NC have been so brainwashed that it will take a miracle to free them from the North grip

How do they now want other Nigerians to support them for the president position, the role played by the likes of Bukola Saraki, Adamu Abdullah remains a pointer that it will be a very risky attempt to back them.

They are very comfortable in the hands of the core north

festacman:
This is a grand plot spearheaded by non indigenous Lagos Yoruba for them to dominate indigenous Lagos Yoruba in their own state.

The only one moment a true Lagos indigene was elected the Speaker of Lagos State House of Assembly, it was swiftly revised and even some indigenous traditional rulers who supported the move were sanctioned and later forgiven when they kowtowed once again in total submission.

Why is Badagry treated like an orphan in Lagos State? When will a true Lagos Indigene: an Awori, an Egun, an indigenous Egba or Ijebu become Lagos State Governor instead of people from other states? Funso William, Musuliu Obanikoro, Jimi Agbaje, etc. were all frustrated. Why should non indigenous Yoruba have access t opportunities in both their true State of Origin and Lagos while Lagos Indigenes eat crumbs in their own state. So many questions.

God never sleeps.
Let me know your position, as an indigene of a consign friend

In as much as i believe, merit based recruitment into organizations are the way to go! Northerners have for a long time turned federal jobs into personal gains they use to reward their kins. Go to BOI, CBN, DPR, NNPC, FIRS, NA, NN, Airforce, Customs, Immigration etc. and do a census to determine the number of people from Northern extractions in those places.

You'd see that the injustice this man so claims to be meted to them as a region is what they have been doing for a long time coming to other regions. If someone is trying to put a balance to it. I do not object. This country belongs to everyone, from East to West, North to South and we all deserve to be equally represented.
Thank you sir for your wise contribution, some of the Nairalanders are just spewing trash

They entire south east and south south got less than 200 slots....this extreme tribalism and yorubalization is pushing Nigeria to precipice!
I have said it severally,no tribe is half as tribalistic as Yorubas, get an employment in an office with majority Yorubas, you are finished, they will speak only their language to make sure you are put out of daily activities in that office, you will be most likely stagnated, infact you may be forced to sign your resignation and the next day one Bayo, that is a messenger in that office will be instantly elevated to takeover your position.
Just look at what is happening at the national level, thankGod all Nigerians are witnessing it firsthand.
It is worrisome when someone who claimed to be an educated person will swallow accusatin from a politician hook line and sinker without first verify the veracity of the claim.

Since the Assembly man can't present data to back up his claim, can you, the towncrier present the custom personnel record to show staff by each state.

I know your Agbotikuyo the Alagulu of Agulu will hit media on this news and enters into the trap Onanuga set for when the actual data is presented.

In what you do, seek and apply wisdom, opposition can be done sensibly to attract sympathy and win more people to your side but not in a crude way the Obidients are doing it.

steeltrust:
Before CHANGE took over Nigeria, things were not perfect but the country was alive.

There was light at the end of the tunnel.

There was structure.
There was direction.
And, most importantly, there was hope.

From 1999, Obasanjo worked to clean Nigeria’s international image.

He cleared debts, rebuilt our foreign reserves, and opened Nigeria to the world again.

Yar’Adua came with a quiet mind

not loud, not flashy but he had a vision.

He started the Niger Delta Amnesty Program, began true electoral reforms, and stabilized oil production.

The best president Nigeria will ever had

Then came Goodluck Jonathan.

For the first time, Nigerians saw power transition peacefully.

We had a president who valued intellect who surrounded himself with experts,
not noise-makers.

Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala managed the economy with global respect.

The naira was stable.

Investors trusted us.

Tech startups began to rise.
Airports were improving.

Even fuel scarcity wasn’t a daily nightmare.

Nigeria was not heaven but you could dream.

You could plan.

You could save money and know what it was worth next month.

₦500,000 in 2014 meant something.

Then came 2015.

The “change” that changed everything.

The same Nigeria that was finding its feet suddenly lost balance.

Policies started to clash.

Foreign investors ran.

The dollar jumped from ₦150 to ₦500 in one presidency.

Inflation went wild.

Unemployment tripled.

The naira was devalued beyond control.

People started migrating (japa) not for luxury, but for survival.

And that’s where the real question lies:

What exactly happened?

How did a country that was becoming Africa’s biggest economy and pride suddenly become a begging economy?

Was it mismanagement?

Was it sabotage?

Or was Nigeria’s growth simply a threat to powers beyond our borders?

Yeah Jonathan’s government may had its flaws, but there was a sense of peace.

The economy was functional.

There was dialogue.

So how did everything collapse right after “change” came?

Today, the same “change” has changed our reality completely.

A bag of rice that was ₦8,000 now costs ₦70,000.

A dollar that was ₦150 is now ₦1,200.

A country that once gave others hope can’t even feed its own.

Sometimes I sit and wonder

maybe we didn’t just vote out a man in 2015,
maybe we voted out our future.

As a Nigerian, it’s painful to look back and remember that there was a time when one dollar was just ₦150.

Now, it’s over ₦1,000 and still climbing.

A time when ₦5,000 could fill your tank, when ₦500,000 could build something, and when hope still meant something.

Today, the numbers don’t just show inflation they show how far we’ve fallen.

The saddest part?

We’re not even shocked anymore.

We’ve normalized suffering.

No Nigeria deserved the Nigeria struggle
I don't have patience to read through the OP hogwash.

He should go and read history or so small research online and educate himself of atrocities committed since 1999.

During these period we had

St Theresa bomb blast
Yanyan pack bomb blast
ThisDay office bomb blast
Bomb flying all over Nigeria states

Large scale kidnapping of school children, military base surrendering to Boko Haram.

It during these period
Boko Haram was created
IPOB
ISWAP

We had Dasukigate
HoR power probe
Ahmed Lawal and Otedola fiasco

Subsidy scam were revealed by the National Assembly

State government could no longer pay salary
Federal government were borrowing money before they could pay salary.

Ajaokuta moribund
The 4 refinery ruined despite budget for turnaround maintenance

Gas flaring couldn't be curtail
Fuel scarcity and queue everywhere
ASUU strikes seems like national policy

If I want to write about what the previous government destroyed I will write 100pages
