Radicalwarrior:
This story is real, do not gaslight this thread.

Whether the CIA’s involvement is fact or metaphor, what’s undeniable is that the Igbo nation is thinking several steps ahead. They are turning the quiet art of strategy into a masterpiece of democratic intent — creamy in vision, delicious in detail, and rich in the flavor of possibility.
For the fact that you are here online telling us a secret plan of one secret organization implies that there is no secret.

I will advise your political leaders to go and understudy how Yoruba as an opposition from independence throughout the military rule came to become the leading region of leadership in the ,4th Republic.

Let your leaders meet with Tinubu and learn the political algebra that can transform to presidency.

Don't use ignorance, hate and self delusion to seek what is purely strategic otherwise you will spend 100years lamenting that you are sudelined

Most yahoo guys writes strong codes to break cyber secured assets. The problem is that theee idiot. S are using their skill to defraid innocent people. The government should equip good guys with sound ICT skill to achieve something better than what these animals are currently doing
Is it Obi you are defending or the yahoo boys

You cannot hand the treasury of a country to a proven criminal. That's all we are saying. Stop making it look like we are speaking Swahili..
This is not really about Bola Tinubu and Peter Obi. This is about decency vs profligacy.
It is about decorum vs malfeasance
Prudent vs kleptomania..
Very easy choice.
You have to ba an uncanny ronutard to choose a certified drug baron over a decent man with a grass to grace story..
Pls make it clear to me that Peter Obi father was not alleged to have been killed because of a drug deal that turned sore.

Tell me it want Peter Obi name wasn't found in Pandora scandal.

Tell me no family money was diverted to Fidelity bank to accumulate

aribisala0:
This is not about being an ideologue

I do not argue things I have not researched

The fact that there is a ban on imports creates an oligopoly and abuse

Dangote cement is the most profitable cement company in the world
The. EBITDA is nearly 60%

This is outrageous

The biggest cement company in the world Anhui us doing under 20% and selling at $2

Dangote will only drop prices when there is competition and if that comes in the way of a threat of imports so be it

The main input in cement manufacturing are energy and limestone
China imports energy Dangote does not

Clearly the cement industry in Nigeria are operating as a cartel and opening up for imports is the only way to keep them on their toes

This is particularly important for government infrastructure

Umahi is talking about concrete roads the difference between 2 and 7 dollars is too much

Dangote should be happy with 20 % profitability like the 4est of the world
I get your point but the world of capitalism is cruelty and domination It would be easy for Dangote to still operate at importation level and still dominate it.

His intention will still be to create cartel that will still maintain high price.

Government cannot by directly from the company from China for its project, it can only buy through a company and Dangote will still be one of those companies

Good things are happening to the SE during Tinubu regime

First it was SEDC and now additional state.

What should follow is the inclusion of referendum clause to allow SE conduct referendum for state that want to be part of Biafra

You need to open the space for imports of cement

$7 Cement is unfriendly to infrastructure ambitions

Cement is $2 in China
The other thing us construction should be buying cement by the tonne at wholesale prices
The problem with this is that the importers will form a cartel and jack their price up. They preferred to make huge profit on a small sales than to make small profits on a large scale

After the successful economic reform of President Bola Hamed Tinubu, the most sensitive and hard to reform had come through, it's like a joke but the military ambition in politics had make the way for the reform awaited for decades to come at last
Now Nigeria Army were headed by those who never stage a coup in Nigeria history.
Thanks President Tinubu.
We will certainly be to where We are going.
God bless Nigeria.
That is not enough, it now imperative for Tinubu to reform all the security architecture. All the military facilities, infrastructure and institutions should be spread across all the 6 geo political zones for balanced power sharing.

The world power doesn't take the balance of power structures lightly and that is what has been preventing the 3 rd world war.

There is need to permanently checkmate military coup in Nigeria because it will always favour the north because of lopsided arrangement that favours the north at the expense of the South

Nigeria was Africa's largest economy before the calamity called APC took over using lies, hate and propaganda
Now they want to cook figures and make coming third look like an achievement.
Incompetent lots!!
Number one position as largest economy is not a permanent seat. Others countries have been occupying the position before we occupied it for that brief year.

That we don't occupy it now is not a new thing so far progress is being made, one day we will still occupy number one position
Politics › Re: Nigeria To Reclaim Position As Africa’s Third-largest Economy — IMF by Ttalk: 5:02pm On Oct 25, 2025
AGCNewsNet:
ABUJA, Oct 25 (AGCNewsNet) – Nigeria is projected to return to being the third-largest economy in Africa in 2026, according to the latest projections from the International Monetary Fund (IMF) — signaling a major rebound after years of economic challenges.

Once Africa’s largest economy, Nigeria slipped to fourth place over the past decade due to currency instability, inflation, and policy inconsistencies. However, the IMF’s new outlook suggests a turnaround, with nominal GDP expected to hit $334.34 billion by 2026.

The IMF projects South Africa to remain Africa’s largest economy with $443.64 billion, followed by Egypt with $399.51 billion, and then Nigeria.

While Nigeria did not make the IMF’s list of Africa’s fastest-growing economies — which includes Benin, Côte d’Ivoire, Ethiopia, Rwanda, and Uganda — the country’s return to third place is attributed to ongoing fiscal reforms and macroeconomic stabilisation policies.

At the launch of Sub-Saharan Africa’s latest Regional Economic Outlook, Abebe Selassie, Director of the IMF’s African Department, said growth across the region is projected to stabilise at 4.1 percent in 2025, with a slight uptick expected in 2026. https://www.agcnewsnet.com/article/6396

Nwaikpe:
You overate yourselves because of the strategic advantage of Lagos. grin grin grin

Some how, you think that Lagos defines all of Yoruba. Come on!

grin grin grin

Before the creation of Lagos, that is before the discovery of Lagos by the Portugese, Olu Atuwatse a fellow Benin man, was already well schooled in the University of Coimbra. That is one of my direct blood ancestors. Direct blood from the same street in Benin. You know very little about the Presbyterian Church of Scotland Mission in 1846 in Calabar and the Roman Catholic Mission (RCM) in the 1860s in the area now called Igbo. You somehow think that because the center of commerce was Lagos, therefore Nigeria, colonial and precolonial, surrounded it.

Read your history: colonial-era administration based more in Calabar (Abuja of those days) than in Lagos. Lagos was just a point of commerce. That was its luck till today. The greatest social interaction between the colonials and the people happened with the Igbo people through the Church.

That is why:
Because of the presence of more whites in Lagos by reason of commerce, they built more schools there, and therefore the locals were more educated in number than in other regions. But because of the interactions socially with the Igbos, they were naturally smarter and more integrated with the Western European world than other regions.
You can't even convince yourself with this point. Look at how you struggle to make a point but ended up with no point
