Exactly! Just 600,000 beneficiaries in a country of over 200 million people, and Reno Omokri is out here clapping like it's some massive achievement? You can imagine the level Reno has sunk defending mediocrity like it's gold.
You mean say the Nigeria population of 200m are all undergraduate?

Godfullsam:
What about the SE region huh

Don't they deserve such good projects?
It is a state project, the FG only assist them to secure foreign loan.

As for SE people, they preferred to use the one in Lagos since Lagos is developed with their coal, gas and Akpu money

As it is going almajiri will ride on light rail before our brothers in the SE

Our southern governors are not trying at all imagine Kano and Kaduna embarking on this laudable project whereas we couldn't the one Amaechi started in Rivers state and the one Peter Obi signed its MoU.

Nothing stops Ogun state and Oyo state having functional light rail system. It is high time we focus on the state government to up their games and justify the increase in allocation..

If we are to go by their performance many of them don't deserve second term, but they hide on the premise of Unitary Nigeria and shift all the blames on the Federal government while their state governors are doing party in one hotel in Abuja.

He really tried oo honestly . I don't care if this is for reelection. This is a very good gesture
Just compare him with the same HoR member who shared wheelbarrow and his people were still defending him, here on nairaland

This is a laudable empowerment that deserves commendation unlike the one from people who know how to elect good leaders who can only give wheelbarrow as empowerment but are always shouting hunger up and down

Politics › Re: UNGA80: Shettima Speech At UN Assembly May Put Tinubu's Re-electio at Gallows by Ttalk: 6:39pm On Sep 28, 2025
You mean Tinubu is no longer US Intel. Obidients have been shouting that Tinubu is US spy a FBI agent whose loyalty lies with the US. They even used their David Hundeyin to parrot this message.

At what point did the spy turned to spyee?
Politics › Re: Is Obi Right To Call Bishop Oyedepo Daddy And Oba Ladoja As Brother? by Ttalk: 5:43pm On Sep 28, 2025
Obi is fond of talking carelessly, does he see other politicians talk like that apart from Amaechi.

Below is another lamba from the lamba king

Obi had during a project commissioning event organised by Nyesom Wike in Rivers opined that, “Peter Odili was my senior at (CKC); we played football together. If Odili is not able to play, just know we have lost that day.

“Everyone knows my school and my schoolmates. Not some people that no one knows their schoolmates or the schools they attended.”

Who can list the properties of Tinubu?
At least in mentioning rich Nigerians and their businesses, I expected to see his name there!
The name Tinubu has existed pre- colonial era and still existing for good things in Lagos, we know our history and respect our heritage. This angle you are towing is why I take it hot with many of you.

Culture and heritage should be sacred

Politics › Re: See Why Peter Obi Called Olubadan His Brother!!! by Ttalk: 6:11am On Sep 28, 2025
Toruibestate:
Politics have blinded the eyes of many Nigerians.
Olubadan was Governor of Oyo when Peter Obi was Governor of Anambra and President Tinubu was Governor of Lagos.

They were colleagues before.
So you mean that President Tinubu can call Olubadan his brother but Peter Obi cannot do it.

Is Olubadan the King of Peter Obi village or is he God that can't be someone's brother?

Douye Diri, the Governor of Bayelsa, I've seen close friends of him call him like boys to his face.

Without adding His Excellency or even Governor because they were colleagues.

Many people need grow up.

@Ditari of Ijaw.
No, Tinubu end his tenure as governor in 2007, that was when Peter Obi was just a baby governor, first 12 month as governor of Anambra, Tinubu was his senior colleague in politics, a a former Senator in 1992 and governor in 1999.

The use of adjective gives a clearer picture of what the messenger wanted to convey, omission of critical adjectives may not be forgiven in the gathering of linguistics expert because the purpose of communication is to make audience capture the clear image, event or opinion without any ambiguity.

Tinubu and Obi were not brothers in governance and politics but a senior and junior brother respectively

Number 1.

No matter the weakness of Obi, a good supporters would have packaged their leader by rallying the populace with tacks, patience and facts.

All these attributes are lacking in average Obidients, and sadly we have very few on them on SM with the right intelligence to win a public debate in favour of their principal without causing harm to him or offending the opposition and the listener

We earnestly urge the government of Lagos state revived the master plan of Lagos state as shown in this picture and do the needful.

Before he came to power Nigeria had economically broken and all the politicians didn't know what next.
Who is like Tinubu among the rest
I quite agree with you, even those that fell to his superior strategy should admit and learn from him rather than engage in unnecessary hatred

Shame no dey catch you? Ehn?

Oya go and check Google and stop lying on the Internet, bro.
That's a very poor way of analyzing dollar strength and could lead to painful financial decision.

The anticipation and biasness that followed Trump reelection was the reason for the initial drop which is mere artificial.

The rallying for BTC and gold presently is expected hedge every rational investment would want take.

This has not in anyway reduced the value of dollar, rather dollar has been consolidating in the past 6month against GBP and EUR.

Take this home today, except for Gold and BTC, there is no internation currency that will retain its present status against the USD in the next 1 year.

You can run away with quick bucks when trying to cash in on the present waves but you'll definitely get your hands burnt when playing medium to long terms click.

Let's see if Naira can sustain its stability, but it's too early to project a rallying, but it's certain the reforms have stopped the sloppy trends of over 40years, thats worth celebrating and a boost of confidence

If in less than 2 years some people can boldly come up with claim that Obi won 2023 election, what then will happen in the next 20 years, their brainwashed kids will tell us how Tinubu got 1000 votes in Lagos where Obi score 50m.

Self delusion is a crime against self consciousness

If it ere to be a Yoruba man that makes such statement then it becomes a taboo disrespect to the Yoruba culture.

That it why Nigeria need to emphasis the meaning of true federalism and federal constitution that resoect the culture and tradition of respective subregions in the geographic expression called Nigeria
Politics › Re: Peter Obi Refers To Oba As Brother: Disrespectful Or Not? by Ttalk: 2:21pm On Sep 27, 2025
It is not disrespectful because I don't expect him to know the implication of calling Oba his brother, that's what his culture and tradition permits

I learnt that every time he bought crude oil from abroad, he does this. He has complained that they are not selling crude oil for him in naira. If he gets crude oil from Nigerian Market in naira, then he will sell to Nigerian marketers in naira. All still boil down to sabotage. What is wrong with nnpc selling crude oil to him in naira? He doesn't get his crude oil from Nigeria again. That is why FG should wade in and make sure he gets steady supply of naira denominated crude oil from NNPC and it should be constant. Every action shows that they are playing monopoly and sabotaging games that won't benefit a common man.
Yes,but quite agree with your submission, in as much as I appreciate effort Dangote has put into Nigeria economy, regarding oil business it's like we want to kill subsidy to birth and nurture a monopoly.

Government need to be very careful with Dangote
