Racoon:
Wetin concern Peter Obi here? Whether he condemns or not, he is a failure,or criminal and can never be president according to you lots. Are you not satisfy with that yet?

This whole evil was hatched and promoted by those who Love it. It is in the nation that Remi Tinubu, MC Oluomo, Bayo Onanuga and even Femi Fani-Kayode (who is married to an Igbo) openly insulted the Igbo race but nothing was done. Hope the government that be are mindful of this "hate speech"?

So love or hate, you can not and never dehumanize the Igbo race. Who God blessed, no man can curse. Continue
Now you angry about insult, but you think it's normal when it comes only from your camp, as you are are the only one authorized to abuse the president, Lagos, SW and Nigeria.

I like the way the Yoruba are giving you wotowoto, unlike the Fulani who kept mute when you were raining insult on them.

Two can play the game so endure

They will convinced their gullible brothers that Coastal highway is a fraud, that the reason why fuel subsidy was removed is for Tinubu to steal the money, that Tinubu is the one behind insecurity in Zamfara, Benue and Kwara even the bombing that took place in Abuja, Kaduna and Borno.

They will campaign that Tinubu is the cause of hunger even among lazy and idle people.

They would convince them that Nigeria is finished even when their state governor receives fat FAAC and their representatives shares wheelbarrow as empowerment.

You're clearly deflecting because you can't address the actual point. Nobody said Yoruba people didn't sacrifice for Lagos. But the issue here is not about general loss of land to public development that’s a separate conversation, and frankly, not what this is about.

The original comment was calling out the arrogance, entitlement, and tribal superiority complex some people parade around as if Lagos owes them something more than others, despite the fact that Lagos was built by the collective effort of diverse Nigerians, Yoruba included, but not exclusively.

Losing family land to public institutions like army barracks or INEC offices isn’t unique to you or your tribe, it's happened all over Nigeria. Trying to use that as a counterpoint to the call-out of tribal bîgótry is a weak attempt to dodge accountability. It’s not victimisation to state historical facts and challenge revisionist entitlement.

So let’s stay on topic: If you’re going to beat your chest about "owning" Lagos and telling others to “do their worst,” don’t get sensitive when people remind you that Lagos is bigger than your surname, your big.otry and your ego. This isn't Igbo vs Yoruba, it's ignorance vs truth. Try not to confuse the two.
Does any of this your epistles address why Peter Obi and his tourist lieutenant didn't show same concern when Soludo demolished 2000 properties and displaced over 4000 traders

The rooster will come home to roost for those people supporting hooliganism in Lagos state just because those hooligans temporarily shift their attention to their “perceived enemies”.

No one ever associated with area boys in the past, but now we have a political party that emboldens them just because they feel they’re useful to them now.

What do you mean by area boys, the NURW union or the IPOB because one is rendering service while the other is killing people

Boko Haram started out just like this.

This is where attention should be shifted to our governors, all of them are not doing enough when it comes to liberating their people from the crawl of poverty.

Any governor who can't empower his people through agriculture and generate revenue from it will not be able to do it with technology and manufacturing.

They should all sit up and take responsibility

The worst form of submission is continuing to empower a system that sidelines you.
Imagine if every Igbo entrepreneur and consumer consciously boycotted goods, services, and products headquartered in Lagos , from telecommunications and banking to oil, gas, and corporate giants profiting from the East while paying taxes elsewhere.

Picture the inauguration of a strategic economic revival team that mandates every Igbo business operating in Lagos to establish a parallel enterprise in the East under a new brand identity before being licensed to trade locally. Add to that a sales tax on goods not produced in the East, and a cultural policy ensuring at least 10% airtime for artists and content creators based in the region.

The message is simple and urgent,The East must wake up, organize, and reclaim its own economic destiny.
We are empowering Lagos too much , now that Lagos has turned into the economic powerhouse of yorubas, any business on the east paying tax tp Lagos should be treated with less priority.

Please notice I left out the churches out of reverence for God.
You mean all these goes on in your mind?

What you failed to know is that Ibo traders in Lagos depend on Lagos purchasing power and not other way round, don't get it twisted bro

When I see comments like this, I genuinely regret and wonder where some of you crawl out from. Lagos is telling who to ‘do their worst’? You beat your chest and, yet your family doesn’t even own a plot the size of a Keke parking spot in Lagos. Lagos was built by sweat, sacrifice, and the hands of people from all over Nigeria and beyond. Some of you only stumbled into Lagos yesterday, clinging to a Yoruba surname like it’s a deed of ownership, shouting entitlement as if history started with you. Calm down being loud doesn’t make you right, it just makes you noisy.
Why are you so inconsiderate and always make everything to be Igbo vs Yoruba.

What about other tribes that their properties were destroyed including that of Yoruba and Lagos indigene.

The whole community of indigenous people were destroyed without compensation.

I lost a family properties to Army barrack, INEC office and school, yet many of us take it as a necessary sacrifice for the betterment of Lagos state.

Grow up and be objective, no amount of victimisation cry will change anything.

Freedom of movement doesn't guarantee freedom to crises, Peter Obi coming to Lagos state with retinue of lieutenants is amount to an invasion which no serious governor should tolerate.
Governor of Benue and Edo saw through mischief of Obi and stopped him from visiting their states to cause crises, I don't know why SanwoOlu is always reactive in instances he should be decisive and proactive

How do you know my state and how do you know I am not Lagosian?

I am no "outsider."
And I do not appreciate the architects of corruption. narcotics and destruction of federalism.

If you are sincere, you will look at all the issues I raised and think deeply concerning the corruption involved.
Whether you are a Lagosian or not doesn't matter, what matters is for you to have experienced the leadership of Lagos state compared to other states.

As someone who witness the transformation of Lagos state, the introduction of LAWMA and waste management exercise is something that saved Lagos from epidemics.

The digital payment system with control that monitor the revenue system and eventually boost it is a miracle am yet to see in other states and the FG.

Now look at the determination that was driven into the Metrolane that many believe is a mirage is something a sincere mind must appreciate.

These and many other things are reason some of us are supporting Tinubu and his government.

Now talking about Federalism that you said Tinubu killed, let me ask you which of the governor or anyone smong the opposition leaders that exhibit traces of federalism while in power. Let me remind you that Tinubu in created additional LG which was later converted to LDCA and empowered it to function up till today.

Tell me any of the governor or the opposition leader that can rival his democratic record.

Many of you are not sincere in playing opposition and it's so sickening

If truly you live in Lagos and have also been to other states, if you are sincere you will appreciate that at least the leadership of Lagos carry human face even though they are not perfect compared to what happen in other states including your state.

Finding it difficult to appreciate the architect of this is something I cant wrap my head around, the hate and envy from outsiders that benefit from Lagos and its leadership is demonic and unjustifiable.

If you are sincere, you will appreciate and celebrate the Coast highway

The indigenous languages in Lagos are: Awori, Ijebu and Ogu(Egun)... While both Awori and Ijebu are sub-Yoruba dialects just like Ibadan, Oyo, Igbonna(Igbomina) etc... Ogu as language is spoken by the Egun people found predominantly in Badagry area in Lagos and some parts of Ogun State that shared border with Badagry in Lagos... Meanwhile, the Yoruba dialect that is generally spoken by all Lagosians is the corrupted version of Awori mixed with Ijebu, blended and fine-tuned!
Coz most of the terms contained in the general dialect could be traced etimologically to either Ijebu or Awori terms
Thank you.

If DomPerignon were to be a soldier he can only be likened to the black scorpion called Benjamin Adekunle who mercilessly destroyed the Biafra Army.

Did I dispute that?

I don't understand your point. We are taking about spoken dialect and not tribe here. Satisense replaced dialect with language for better understanding.

Many dialects exist in Yorubaland and some are extremely variant or deep away from the binding Yoruba we speak.
