I was requested to upload my “Call to Bar”certificate.

I initially submitted on the 14th. However, I didn't receive a confirmation email.

Due to concerns that the submission may not have gone through successfully (despite seeing 'upload successful'), and noticing that my email address was displayed instead of my NIN number, I resubmitted the document today at 5 pm.

I received a confirmation email thereafter.

How many tries did it take you before you got the confirmation mail. Also, when you successfully uploaded, were the doccuments showing on the portal? Or was it still blank?

It's crucial to upload only what's requested. I knew someone who didn't progress to the CBT stage for (Firs GT) due to uploading extra certificates that didn't match her application. Let's adhere strictly to instructions to avoid issues.

Just click on the same link you used to apply, log in with your email and password.
It should take you to your bio data page where you can see the status of your application and your Application No…Hope that helps!"

With regards to the NNPCL recruitment:

I applied for the Graduate Trainee program and didn't receive a confirmation email. However, when I checked the portal, it showed that my application was submitted successfully and my application No is also there.

Maybe you can check the portal too to confirm
If the application was successfully submitted.

Especially because there is no closure be it positive or negative

From the 2013 GT thread, I noticed that success mails and Regret mails came out same day.....!

This year,Regret mails where still sent to Applicants that where not shortlisted even when NLng said in their confirmation receipt that it is only Shortlisted Applicants that will be contacted..!!

So for me is 50/50

Most people are just trying to sound nice to those that didn't get the mails but that aside, frankly, I don't think anyone would send you a mail this late to prepare for assessment centre starting in about 2 weeks, no time to prepare. I understand why you still have hopes as there are no regret mails yet but if you read the last mail sent for the SHL, unsuccessful candidates won't be contacted you should have moved on by now. If by any chance you do get called good but for your own mental health, move on. Just being frank, no hate whatsoever, be logical.

What if some of them actually reside in Nigeria but they provided two addresses
Like....Lagos Address....and Abuja Address?

Perhaps they were outside Nigeria at the time of the application, know a few people who have just recently completed masters that have gone back to Nigeria that got the email too. The address on-file in their application is probably their address while in school abroad

On the Career Day, some persons complained that they don’t have some of the documents at that material time..especially “First School Leaving Certificate”And “NYSC”

NLNG said they should proceed with their application as that won’t be a barrier at that stage(Application and short-listing)

It is normal that before progressing to the next phase of the recruitment (ACs), Nlng will contact those who didn’t upload all the documents or even those who thought they did but the upload didn’t go through for record purposes.......(My opinion though)

request for missing document or a document you did not upload doesn't necessarily mean an interview invite is underway, I believe things have to be done orderly for everyone invited to take the test. Let's keep hope alive and wait for actual interview invites.
