lexylexy: Sometimes Uber can be the best. I recently took someone to MM2, but we were redirected to Mm1 for her flight. Can you believe Uber actually added 3500 parking fee to the fare. Me sef shock. I don’t like Uber prices unless it’s priority but what u can’t take from them is in a situation like this and best in traffic and waiting time too , that’s why I don’t get angry waiting for riders on Uber 😆 this trip was 6600 got additional 1800 for waiting for shout 9 mins

dplus: This is not possible with just 5k fill up. I use CNG myself. with 5k fill up you can make between 25k to 50k depending on the platform and your negotiation with riders. On bolt you make like 30k to 40k profit. But on indrive I made like 45k if i plan my trip very well and maximise my profit. CNG is the best for now with e-hailing. I have been using it for a while and i don't have any regret. The one problem for now is the stations , they are not much so filling is not very friendly, you need to plan your trips around the areas to fill up I use to see long queues on Oba Ogunji road omoh 😞😞 but can that full 65KG carry u for 2 days work? Cos e be like na to dey use one day go dey fill up ooo.. stil looking for money to run mine and I hope this useless govt won’t increase the price later to now be competing with fuel ⛽️ |

Kumuyiii: Cng is na 50/50, e fit marry ur car you go enjoy am...if eno marry am well, ur experience will be tedious.
The main issue is the poor pricing and low requests, caused by competition... I don't see a solution on the horizon.
Cng stations are few, queue na water, i don't see that improving soon, cus to open cng station is bare expensive.
Imo electric is the way if you intend to do this hustle for long.
ABOVE ALL, GET UR PVC AND VOTE THIS PLAGUE OUT!!
We suppose dey use fuel, who the hell knew what cng was b4 this curse of a man came to power? Now i no fit even fire my car well 🤦♂️. the queue on Ogunusi road toward pen cinema bridge dey long like mad anytime I drive pass that place |

Azertise: No rush change compressor o. Na so 2 AC guys dey yarn me say compressor, I did my own research and went to the third ac guy and told him what to do. Exactly the same issue I had (except I didn't take note of RPM, but AC drops in traffic and sometimes picks when I speed.) Just google search "Moisture in your AC system can cause inconsistent cooling" you'd find out more. Basically, If they changed your gas without vacuuming (Flushing) it's very possible moisture dey the system. my ac was struggling to chill my ac guy say Gas stil dey inside say na compressor will go change, i dey manage am like that till o go fix my car for one mechanic shop I see ac man thr , that one check say has dey inside but e needs topping , bought another gas and since then my ac they over chilled .. e don dey go 3 months now |

Pearl1910: So N300 made it good for u. Smh Secondly why didn't u cancel the trip and do it offline since u have already concluded price? Riders can't rate a cancelled trip on indrive they can, as a driver too u can rate a cancelled ride.. I took the 4K because I already cancelled the ride atleast I won’t be paying commission on it compare to the 3700 which I will still pay commission |

Glithronix: As much as I prefer taking female riders, some of them are so rood and unreasonable. Earlier this month, I picked one from Ketu side going to Surulere, when I drove reach Alapere side, I confirmed her destination area to her that it's Surulere, she said no ooh, that the address she put was Egbeda. Na there I know say me and her go get problem. I parked and told her to book another ride that I had no intention going to that Egbeda axis. She was reluctant and said how would she now start booking another ride from here. But based on say she was my first ride of the day, I billed her extra based on distance and timing differences, she even priced it down, I just accepted make she no use bad spirit start the day for me. Took her to the destination in Egbeda and she paid. Few moments later, Indrive sent me warning notification (1st time ever) of requesting for extra payment from rider. My driver star dropped immediately. I knew it was her handwork, na so I went straight to her ride request on my list and reported her with 1 star. Make two of us share the grace.
Much respect, baba. this riders are evil bro, I told this guy point blank that i accepted the ride my mistake that the price is poor for me and I already cancel the ride , he called to beg me to come pick him that he wil round up the money from 3700 to 4K and he went to drop bad review on me because of 300 naira 😂

tobby98: My problem with some of drivers is their own appearance and looks of their vehicle. They don't care or don't value themselves or aesthetics. My car is well pimped, AC running smoothly, I dress well. This already gives me an edge in areas of getting juicy offline trips, negotiating or even getting tips( I don't demand, I too get steeze to demand). Because of the composure and presentation, I already got a business contract from a rider , surprisingly from a female, a gender that stresses us so much on this job. Indeed who go help you no go stress you, even when I turn on AC without her asking, she still wind down say she need fresh air, na there I suspect say na big lady, we no blow AC till we reach Parkview, Ikoyi. But those who don't have AC at home would nearly fight you if them hear say your AC stopped working or not cooling enough. So back to the matter, this was my dashboard for yesterday alone, worked from 6am till 5pm. I did 72k net on Bolt, 12k tips, 15k offline. Started with a full tank but the arrow never too pass F. On Indrive, I prefer it more on some occasions especially on the mainland like Ago, Yaba, Surulere, Ajao Estate, Ikeja. Just sabi position and you go enjoy them especially when there's surge(yes Indrive dey get their own surge). Both the beauty of Bolt is their surge too, the prices are killing lol, that's why most driver's get their Bolt app activated during ember months, their downsides is that they are cunny especially on the location you're going and the time to pick up. My own advice is do what works for you. On this CNG, I am observing, everyone wants to keep operating costs low, but I am a bit skeptical. I no wan risk my baby(Camry Muscle) but I want to buy a smaller car to test run with it. I mean going by the price of CNG, for guys like me, the least a day is going to be 90k net. So my final advice is for guys to start looking clean, no matter your problems, don't look it. Take care of your cars too. I just tried to talk to some Uber guys one day that I didn't go home and decided to do small night work, at that Enyo side close to the AP filling station that sells overnight, some guys looked like they never chop for 2 days, some were bathing outside by their car (this was my first time seeing this). Pls guys let's take care of ourselves and health. Don't let people look down on you coz you're doing Uber work, present yourself well, if you're serious about this work, your earnings already put you above 80% of Nigerians working, your problem would now be your lifestyle, habits and saving culture. I mandate myself to save 50k a day any day I come out and I have never missed since I started except I no work that day or I go for other runs. So that savings culture is a must, if not the day your car pack up, you go beg tire and people are not obligated to help you or share in your problems. Ire o. Just this morning, I don carry person go Airport from Isheri Osun, he paid 20k. I had to go from Ago to pick him up, driving time of 14mins, and ride time of 26mi s, that's not a bad deal for a start today. May God help us all o. Ire o. how much fuel? |

But we r not in america naaw. And so many things also done in america are not done in Nigeria. Businesses have niche and environments and u cannot just import a bizness from America and dumb here expecting it to work .
As u always say. After d race we go count miles many drivers wan run am but to arrange that money na problem, if this centers fit do installmental payment e for good, me now just buy new engine if to say i get the money now na to run am on the new engine but wetin man go do 😢 |
