tatosh:I'm so sure that if this happened right in front of you, or to someone you know, you would still catch in on the opportunity to campaign and shout change. What ever happened to conscience and value for human lives. ISIS is beheading innocent people, why not go and propose change? When we should unite and jointly stamp out this devils from further damage to lives, you seek cheap political ground to divide strength and blame it on leadership. Insurgency has sponsors, people whose minds are alien to value and respect for others. Nigeria was never like this, so if we must be real, let's think straight. Stop hauling stones. |
gemiclem:which pix was taken beyond? |
danot1030:I need to understand the meaning of this new viral word "CLUELESS". pls somebody help cos i'm getting confused. |
moderatorr1:Abi oooo! pix please na, abeg. |
sincerenigerian:What really baffles is how OBJ will make the kind of utterances he does, to the extent of degrading and insulting galant men on battle against insurgency, taking bullets and losing comrades. A retired soldier for that matter; where is the discipline? Unfortunately all his children and grandchildren are not in this country, so who are they fighting for/overheating the polity for. |
oludyke:Are you sure this elders have the slightest regard for those cultural values any longer. It's a big shame what in the name politics we have left. May God help us. |

coldFLARES1:Guy, in your comparing apples with apples, where does buhari come to play; You would obviously be searching for something better, not extinct. Discredit the facts with facts not sentiment. History is real, i was there, where you? |
rusher14:j Obviously, you are a lawyer or a graduate,or worst case neither but working somewhere. If any of the above, why didn't you give JAMB a recommendation letter from your principal for possible tertiary admission; did you quote the constitution to your employer when he requested to sight your credentials for which you hadn't and he/she employed you. Is this the 'CHANGE' you want me to explain to our children. Please, let's be objective and stop insulting ourselves without cause. This is pure sentiment, the type you feel when you are high and want to get between a girl's leg, not minding if she is fine/not, black/white, clean/dirty, educated/not, safe/unsafe, HIV/..., The result will tell!. PEACE!!! |
tatosh:Haba, stop abusing, it carries no weight, state/substantiate your own point and let the readers be the judge. simple! |
when they say they are creating employment, this is it. putting suits n xpensive watches on touts n toping it with AK47, why are their children nt lookin after their posters. evil men wit degrees speakin english wit selfish values 4 life. black man wit his black mind. |
CHANGE !!!!![/quot it's now obvious, you opened several accounts on various media 2 make your job easy. if u got nothing positive to say, go watch some good movie, or go campaign at ketu. "remember, don't throw stones" |
Sezua:doesn't make any difference,BH is extinct. by this time next week. BH is history( na me talk am |
HNosegbe:"ON POINT" the strategy was well researched, with no good intention. Was in a pub yestd, when i overhead two parents(a lawyer included) arranging with a supposed teacher, how to manovre forthcoming WAEC exams in their favour. The toast to a successful deal was "sai ...". I ain't nobody's fan, but is this how we help shape future leaders. Fastrack living at all cost. Common sense aint common. Ignorance is "Ebola's" 1st cousin. |
bakila:IMPUNITY? Haba! pls na, let's leave this thing as simple as it is. Soon you will rename 'immaturity' to be 'Logic'. I am nobody's fan, but common sense is no rocket science. |
OpeDwarroir:On point. so where is the change coming from? A party made up of 80% aggrieved pdp members by now should consider a name swop. Because a party refuses a governor another ticket, he decamps and starts name calling. What goes around, comes around. Nigerians beware! |
Kx:Dude, don't just write, think first. Haba! Do you know that statistics reveal that that "crime" you quoted has majority opposition leaders as beneficiaries. Pls let's be objective. I like GMB as a person, what you see now is a repackage GMB, by some big time crooks. Under the military i would vote for him anytime, but in agbada, count me out. I LUV TIS COUNTRY! |
DonaldGenes:You tried but the part that amused me is "BODY LANGUAGE". Plss what is "BODY LANGUAGE"? cos' i think my babe has a better body language to rule this nation. Have we become so clueless that we lack words to express mere sentiments. God help us! |
blackpanda:...SO PLS EDUCATE US, HOW DO YOU TRANSFER MONEY MEANT FOR "RIVER" TO "ABIA". |
kobikwelu:Abi o! Are the account numbers of abia and rivers the same?why go to court to stop a fund transfer? He must have been talking to fish/pepper sellers. But why go to this extent, of calling the "delegates" fools just because you are governor. Is this still politics? Reminds me of housewives in "face me,face you" house politics. MEANWHILE UNA SEE TRAFIC FOR LAGOS ISLAND YESTERDAY. I DO 5HRS TO GET HOME AND NOT A WORD OF APOLOGY FROM OUR APC OGAS. God dey o! |
Mfemi53:whao! o boy, dem jusr land me 700MB. xmas is in early this year. thnks eti . |
DONGOYARO1: Yes no one gives a damn, no one gives a damn about the innocent men, women and children who are presently in the claws of the Haramites at Gwoza, Damboa, Marte, Bama, Buni-Yadi, Limankara, Michika, Madagali, Ashgashiya, Gulak and other towns that are all still in the complete control of the HaramitesCan you authenticate this your information? |
DONGOYARO1: Isnt it the same Defence Headquarters that lied us that the Chibok girls have been rescued? So what's your point? |
orirebaby: Am not sure this private school owners know wat they are saying. How many of their children school in this country? On first week of every term, my kids come home with all sorts, especially flu, because of reunion contacts. Secondary contacts have been diagnosed in lagos, why can't they just add reason to the pocket? GREED! |
onatisi: you have been saying bh end is near for almost a year now.and everyday soldiers are been slaughtered, maimed. Women have become widows and children have become fatherless and orphans .the simple question is when will their end come?the end is near means an indefinite period. Nigerians are beginning to get tired of all these useless and toothless assurances. Soldiers are complaining to bbc that they won't fight unless they are better equipped, mutiny in military barracks due to non challant attitude of army superiors, weapons are been taken by the insurgents without any resistance and yet you say their end is near. Bro please come up with a better statementmy brother, don't misquote me. let's read that report again. As a soldier,it's obvious, intelligence has been circumvented, putting you at risk. 'who is responsible' should be our first war. Real war start in the mind before you pull a trigger. If i succeed at disarming your mind, you are as good as dead, even with your rpg. The end is near could mean anything but be rest assured, evil may thrive, but can never prevail. |
Police sources told Saharareporters that the college had five units in training with each unit having 59 trainees and unit commander. The units affect were two Mobile Police(MOPOL) units from Nasarawa, Gombe and MOPOL 50 from Abuja. Two other units from Zamfara were also at the college during the attack. Boko Haram militants earlier today invaded a prestigious Nigerian Police training college in Gwoza, Borno state. The militants numbering 200 arrived the Police Mobile Force Training School with five armored tanks earlier seized from the Nigerian army units that tried unsuccessfully to dislodge the sect from Gwoza in the last two weeks. Several of the trainees were reportedly killed and injured by the militants. A good number of the trainees also fled to the mountains nearby while some of the trainees managed to escape to Adamawa state. A police source told Saharareporters that the militants blew up an armored tank stationed at the gate of the training college before gaining entrance into the school and wreaking havoc. Boko Haram took over Gwoza some two weeks ago, hoisted its flag and appointed an Emir to administer the strategic northeastern township. Attempts by the Nigerian army to retake the town has been repelled by the militants in deadly counter attacks that have claimed several Nigerian soldiers. New efforts at mobilize troops to march on Gwoza has been bogged by mutiny by troops and their families who simply refuse to take orders from their superiors to take on Boko Haram fighters as they express concern that their weaponry cannot match those of Boko Haram. http://saharareporters.com/2014/08/20/boko-haram-militants-ove First, i have a problem with the police source, who was able to ascertain the exact number of militants(200), the number of tanks, how they were acquired n where, the attack mode, the response, the mutiny status of our troops, our weaponry. Secondly, i might be wrong, but there's something fishy about all this. There are lines between the lines. Take a deep breath and read again. Even the very smart can be easily swept off. The Big Question is "WHAT IS THE PURPOSE FOR ALL THIS". |
onatisi: They took over the town, hoisted their flag and appointed an emir ,and they have repelled nigeria army offensive to retake that town 5 times already, and they have been in gwoza for almost 3 weeks now. The simple plain truth is that this boko haram issue is gradually getting out of hand and controlDid you just say they appointed an emir? Amazing. So they have a good number in followership. Then the indigenes are ok. The army would only walk into ambush in this situation just to record more loss. Pls where is the governor of this state. where are the commissioners. There's something very funny about this insurgency, especially in this state. My guess- BH has very good media agents, even in nairaland. Let's stop wasting time on BH victory stories, and move on, cos' the end is near. |
Yomieluv: Former speaker jobless? What did he do with all his loot as a speaker? These people should stop all this pity stories that tickle our mentality."Jobless" not "Cashless" or "Broke" |
neyobills: So if I need only 1k for pepper soup n drink on a good day I should go and collect 10k because of people wey dey my back, besides its non of ur buisness whatever anyone deems fit to withdraw, abi na ur ATM dem take withdraw SMH....Try going into the bank to queue for 1k, because u wan chop peppersoup. go and advice your peppersoup joint owner to ger POS. |
Eyop: At the bolded...previously ATM was dispensing #40,000 per transaction but was later reduced to #20,000 because of fraud. The higher the dispensed amount per transaction allowed, the higher the risk should incase your card is stolen.Moreso, inasmuch as it is right to question or analyse policies, let's put ourselves sometimes on the stool of those managing our economy. You can start with your home, even with the fat salaries, it ain't easy. I'm sure with time we'll get it right. |
