I still do not get the logic behind make up.
You paint your face when going out, then look 8 or 9 over 10...then you get home and take it off, and you look in the mirror back to your 3 or 4 over 10. Is it not more depressing for you to know you are just whining yourself with beauty that you do not have.
Why not just embrace your look, then derive your self esteem and confidence and good feeling from something else, something more intrinsic

So many Nigerians already in the UK were also scammed, who you wan go report to?

After spending so much on Masters degree programs that offered little or no pathway to a skilled worker visa, they had to save or borrow huge sums to pay those scammers who hawked COS.

Some Nigerian pentecostal churches here in the UK are complicit, as on Sundays they allowed some of these COS scammers to come to places of worship to give talks about their "COS packages".
Why not report them to the immigration
CrimeRe: UK Residents Publish COS Scammers With Names & Photos On Public Banner by tunapawizzy: 12:01am On Aug 31, 2025
Why not report these people to the police instead of just shaming them like this. They should be in jail, otherwise they will continue harvesting victims.
Or is it that the victims will also go to jail if the immigration or police investigates this. Be like most of the victims sef dun submit fake documentation and are scared of holistic investigation by the immigration.

“I have also been in touch with several media leaders who reached out to me.

“They asked for an apology, and I have given it. I am leaving the rest to God, mankind, and humanity.

“I want to remain focused on my assignment,” Opeifa said.
Indeed, you have apologised
You can imagine this one too will have children, that he should be teaching to say thank you, respect others and apologise when they are wrong

PoliticsRe: NIPOST: Nigerians To Pay $80 Duty For Every Package Sent To US by tunapawizzy: 1:15pm On Aug 30, 2025
WizardOfNG:
You still don't get it. This is Trump fighting a protectionist trade war against the world as some of us predicted would happen. Stop seeing this from a Nigerian perspective alone.

Nigerian sellers need to diversify their trade away from the USA. As simple as that. Many nations of the world are affected and will retaliate.

Nigeria should do same. Stop presenting us as beggars over an act of aggression by the divisive character Americans chose as their President.

No Nigerian trader should operate at a loss or for negligible profit because of duty Trump has imposed that other nations have not similarly copied.

It is for Nigerians to accept they need to boycott the US market and seek entry into other markets of the world. I am affected and say "up yours" to the USA. They will regret all they are doing which are essentially actions initiating trade wars against others.
Someone said the $80 duty will have no affect on Nigerian businesses selling to consumers in the US. I simply explained that position is not correct. I did not argue any solution, I did not say if Trump did the right or wrong thing, I did not give any solution.
How did i present us as beggars. The much i said was that transferring that 80 dols to consumer will eventually make take that market away- did I say that will be the end of the world or that there are no other markets to conquer.

I don't see why this is an issue that Nigerians should be worried about. Especially for businesses. Just add the $80 to your cost and continue your business.
It is a problem.
The Nigerian seller operating from Nigeria that would normally sell his product(e.g. well tailored bespoke suit or shoe) for say $100 or 150k naira(delivery included) to someone in the US. That same buyer will now need to pay $180. The incentive to buy from a Nigerian in Nigeria is fast eroding.

Now the seller now has 2 coping mechanisms to explore in order to remain competitive
1. Reduce his charge plus shipping to $20. So the buyer can continue to pay $100. Sadly this will amount to him/her running a charity, not a business.
2. Wait until he has multiple orders so he can spread the $80 Trump money on multiple customers. A buyer now has to wait until you the seller have plenty customers to receive his product. Your product is no longer readily available and that buyer is as good as gone.

How is this a problem for Nigerians. An average Nigerian don't send stuff to the US regularly except they have an export business. So it's those living in the US that will bear the cost.
Eventually it becomes too expensive to purchase Nigerian products. Those Nigerians living in the US look for cheaper alternatives in the US, those Nigerian businesses selling to them lose their customers with high purchasing power. It hurts everyone, including Nigerian businesses in Nigeria.

Stop this victim nonsense.. I cant come to Nigeria and do as I please, every house has laws that should be obeyed.. why do you guys not understand this? You're busy yapping about "white people" why isn't the government demolishing the houses of Nigerians built lawfully?
Please ignore people like that. You cannot have a country of well over 200 million people and not have some barbarians without brains. His position doesnt represent the position of an average Nigerian. Demolition isn't enough, additionally his license to operate that kind of building business should be suspended for 5 years. That is the only way to have a sane society.

A lot of people here are saying the man should come and invest at home to escape the bitterness of South Africans about Nigerians. Instead of you guys to advice the man to change his attitude and start doing the right things, you are advising him to bring home that silly attitude of not following set rules. He will come and build at home now, and start building rubbish houses for you people. Make una continue to dey encourage evil people
