One of the reason why a woman must follow her husband to his church after marriage is for her to be more respected and valued in her former church. If she decides to still be attending her former church, familiarity won't make her to be valued and respected. Imagine her visiting her former church with her husband after about two years or so, it will be so exciting and joyful than still be with them.

My honest thought is that in 2025, what outsiders think about us should be very very very secondary. Even the Bible must have said somewhere(which I don't know ) that we shouldn't care what people say or think about us and just focus on how God sees us.
