Ganjafama:
Only two northerners have the political Goodwill to win northern votes - Atiku and Kwankwaso. Any other person is just a waste of time.
Sincerely even kwankwaso is not in the same class. Only Atiku can defeat Tinubu in the north, as things stand today. Anything outside of atiku as the candidate, sincerely its as good as we are saying tinubu till 2031
Politics › Re: 2027: Coalition Plots Atiku For One Term, Obi As VP, Obidients disagree by tunapawizzy: 6:14pm On Apr 20, 2025
If people do not let greed and stubborness of wanting to fight for right mess things up, Atiku/Obi ticket is the closest ticket to what can defeat tinubu in 2027. Not because Atiku is good o, but because the political realities will only allow that combination to fly. Tinubu was clearly not the best candidate in terms of competence in 2023, but with political realities he was the only one in APC with the political capital that can defeat Atiku, APC understood this fact.
I hope the coalition or pdp or labour or whoever can understand this fact too. North has the power of number, tinubu is weaker in the north compared to 2023, coalition needs a candidate that can mop up what APC will shed in 2027 and atiku is that candidate. The south east needs to support that ticket with Obi and SE votes. Because tinubu is already gaining grounds in the south south

Someone asked you a salient question on the palm oil plantation you advertised and you couldn't keep your emotion in check. Some of you just advertise stuff, but do not act like you really want to sell. Even if na dangote wan buy 400million naira asset from you, you think he will not ask you all manner of question. Ou have advertise for over 2 years now and no one seems to be interested in what you are selling(no matter how good it is). Stop using bad attitude and inability to control your emotion to mess up your business. Good sales person will even answer questions that border on insult. In your case a valid question was asked, u say make dem swerve if them no wan buy.

NigeriaIsGreat:
you have a point. Atiku will get Northern votes while Obi will get Southern votes. What about the South South issues as you raised? Tinubu wants to keep South South to his pocket which will be a plus. Another question is that the Northerners turn is till 2031. Will they want to vote for Atiku knowing fully well that it will affect their turn?
The north does not have anything to fear once they are in power, they have the numbers. They also have one big advantage-THE SOUTH WILL NEVER SPEAK WITH ONE VOICE(especially south west and south east), so there will always a southern Crack that the north can exploit. It's almost looking like Tinubu will win 4 SS states(rivers, edo, cross river, akwa ibom) - at least by what INEC will declare. It also looks to me like whatever he will lose in the north, he can make up for it in the south south. It may turn out to be an interesting election

lailo:
Atiku as a presidential candidate now that South is yet to complete her turn is another factor to fail. His brothers will prefer South or Tinubu completes his 8 years than gamble with Atiku. One factor or the other will always make him fail.
His brother did not fail him in 2023, even after 8 years of Buhari another northerner, despite the fact buhari and majority of northern governors being against him in 2023. Is it now that a southerner has done 4 years that his brothers will now prefer south? Don't forget Atiku had majority of his almost 7million votes from the north in 2023. If Atiku gets the ticket(which is most likely) he will do better in the north than he did in 2027. APC people know this and that's why they are doing all they can to put themselves in a position where they can write south south votes in Tinubus favour (rivers, edo, cross river all within reach for APC now, even akwa ibom governor dun endorse tinubu, he may decamp to APC very soon). The only thing that will stop Tinubu is Atiku/Obi ticket(and Tinubu will try to frustrate that ticket from happening)
Politics › Re: Atiku Should Allow Credible Candidate From South As Coalition Candidate - Shehu by tunapawizzy: 3:34pm On Apr 18, 2025
This one dey find who Tinubu go easily defeat. Make coalition use southern candidate against Tinubu.
The North has no incentive to go and start another 8 years wait with another southern candidate(which could cause power not going to the north till 2035), they will instead endure 4 more years of Tinubu and get power back in 20231. I hope PDP and coalition will not play into the hands of those setting traps and advising them to use a southerner in 2027.

You people's president is working remotely. Una dun enter one chance till 2031. Na only death fit comot that man, he no dey let go, just give him power forget it, he will never let go till 2031. He will buy votes, at the same time rewrite votes, announce what he likes , use police to chase voters away, and finally use judiciary to ratify the fraud. If you people shout too much he will use state of emergency and military to crush you. Even if you do peaceful protest, he will use the strategy of burning down one building and then use that opportunity to do what he wants to do

Mccollins042:
China just lost 500b USD of annual trade, there is no way this isn't gonna cripple their economy.
The only leverage xi has is that china is a communist nation and their will hardly be an uproar from the suffering population but America has free speech and ppl will certainly protest. If not in any trade war, the consumer has the cards
Cripple is an exaggeration. It will have significant effect. But a nation that built success with hardwork, grit and perseverance will not crumble/cripple because of $436bn market loss. Mind you, even at over 200% tariff, a significant portion of the goods from China that enters US will still be attractive to final consumer when you take away the crazy markup wholesalers put on goods. And that's what the Chinese manufacturers are doing now, creating a direct channel to final consumers

China trades with MORE countries than the US does. That is the difference. Africa cannot afford Made-In-USA products, and even the ones which come as aid sef, Trump has cancelled USAID. The remittances sent by Africans in the US have nothing to do with African countries trading with China or anyone else.
We may be saying the same thing. My point is that US will not fidget about the possibility of losing African market in terms of trade-. I know China will not crumble too because of just US market.
You have a point about remittances.

tilting allegiance to china is not optional to Africa, Africans can't afford American products even when they were made in china talk more of now that they will be made in US
The whole of Africa, over 50 countries bought $34 billion thereabout from US last year, if this dries up, i dont think US will flinch. secondly, the aid that US gave Africa in 2024 is $41billion.
Another thing US is home to many Africans that contribute so much to remitances to Africa, African countries cant afford to have that dry up.
