Firstleoqueen:You are most welcome. |
79733139:No.... You can check page 186 for my write-up on passport's renewal. |
JaceyOpara:Yes. |
Firstleoqueen:You are highly welcome. The handwriting letter to the Comptroller General could simply go like this 18 Ahmadu Bello Street, Ifako-Ijaiye, Lagos State. 13th-Janurary-2021. The Comptroller General, Nigeria Immigration Office. Dear Sir, LETTER OF APPLICATION FOR RENEWAL OF PASSPORT I ....names.... with registration number ........ wish to apply for the renewal of my Nigerian passport No ......... which was issued to me on ...... and expired on ..... I would be grateful if my application is granted. Thanks for your usual cooperation. Yours faithfully Signature Name |
Firstleoqueen:For a passport renewal 1. Click on https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/epassport/ptype/1By1C 2. Select "Standard ePassport" option, your country name and click "Start application" 3. Fill in your old passport info and other required info and printout the "Application form" when you are done (you can save first in a PDF format for later printout) 4. Proceed to payment. When you are done, printout both the "Acknowledgement slip" and "Payment slip" respectively" Note: Atleast one of the 3 printouts will carry your interview date. The day to go to your selected passport office with the below documents. Though you can also go before or after the stated date. Documents to go along with to the Passport office 1. NIN slip (1 copy) 2. State of Origin certificate (1 copy,) 3. Birth certificate (1 copy) 4. 2 passport photos 5. Application form (1 copy) 6. Acknowledgement slip (1 copy) 7. Payment slip (2 copies) 8. A Hand writing letter on a paper (probably an A4) to the Controller General for renewal of passport. 9. A grey/brown file (cost #50 or #100) and its hook (#50). You can get this at the passport office. Note: Go along with all originals for verification sake. Capturing Stage You will be rightly directed for this stage after finishing the "verification stage" above. Note: When you are done capturing, a printout will be given to you which contains your passport's collection date. Goodluck. I hope you will find this comprehensive enough. |
Leoucu:Just ask of Aunty Bose that signs guarantor's forms from any officer at the entrance gate. You will be rightly directed to her. |
JaceyOpara:From Ikeja under bridge, cross to Lasuth road and walk down a few meter (just after a police station), you will find the High court by your right hand (same side of Lasuth). |
Chidoo1234:Enhanced passport and #26k for all Lagos centers. |
Leoucu:Your interview date is inside one of the three files you printed out. Check very well. Though based on people's shared experiences, you can also go before or after the stated date. Capturing comes after an interview. In some centers, you are likely to do both on the same day while in some centers, you will be given another date (mostly 3-7 days) after completing your interview. Anybody that has a valid passport and NIN slip can stand as your guarantor. Just give the person the form to fill. Request for the photocopy of the person's passport data page and NIN slip. You also need one passport photo of the guarantor that is both duly signed at the back and names also written at the back. If you know your way, you will get a guarantor at the passport's office and be charged a token like 1k. I know a lady doing it for people at Alausa passport office and charging them 1k each. |
baba2unday:Your address and date at the top right. At the next top left, the letter could be directed to: Controller General, Nigeria Immigration Office. Then Dear sir/madam Heading could be Letter of Application for Renewal of Passport Body could be I ....name.... with registration number ........ wish to apply for the renewal of my Nigerian passport No ......... which was issued to me on ...... and expired on ..... I would be grateful if my application is granted. Yours faithfully Signature Name |
The letter of application to the Comptroller General for a passport Renewal, is it an handwriting letter on a plain sheet? Asking for a friend. |
OFG1:Likewise me also... The lady at Alausa center insisted that I must provide it in addition to my NIN slip. |
JaceyOpara:The lady you will meet for an interview likes to give space between them. She will tell you the date to come for capturing after you are done with her. Probably 4-7 days after. You can try your luck by telling her you really need to proceed to Capturing stage on that same day you finished with her because you urgently need the passport for a scholarship. |
JaceyOpara:No.... Capturing comes after the interview date (collection/verification/attestation of validated documents while also giving you some forms to fill). |
Lordseyad:Since I chose Lagos as my residential state, only Lagos centers were presented as options for me which were Alausa, Festac and Ikoyi. |
From Haruna Ogba Lagos. Untill March of this year, maximum bill for a month used to be between 9000 and 13000( for 8 room self contains) but like play like play, it started raising month after month since then and Nov bill was 67200. This is approximately 700% increment. This is a big fraud going on from Ikeja Electric. This was never announced to the public. Even $ did not raise by 700% I think we really need to speak up to stop this corruption mess. Labour need to know what is really going on. The increment they announced to the publish was peak @ 2% increment. The worst part of it is that we used to have light by an average of 18 hours per day till like July but now 7-12 hours average light per day. |
KingsDisease:Ok thanks. Do you know why I had to pay #26k for it instead of the 17800? |
Good morning my people. I began the fresh passport processing this morning. I chose Alausa. 5 years and 32 page passport. But the amount I am asked to pay online is 25000. Is this amount for the enhanced passport or still the old one? Total of 26k paid. |

|

Many thanks sir. |
tunde4top:Make Una please answer my questions oooo. |
yehmy:You are welcome. Have you registered? |
yehmy:https://portal.immigration.gov.ng/passport/epassport |
Subomi007:Please ooo my people. Help me. I must do this thing myself. 1. Can my NIN slip (not card) alone cover for number 3?. I asked this because I don't have an identification of Origin. 2. Due to money constraint and location, if I choose Alausa center (#17800), will I find the requirements and collection of passport tougher compared to that of Ikoyi (26k)? 3. Where around can I buy the black and white abi black and grey paper file? 4. Will I go with all these files on the day of capturing or must first go and submit them first before the capturing day? 5. What is this DIY? 6. What do they really mean by this warning when trying to apply for a fresh passport? NOTE: DUE TO COVID 19 RELATED DISRUPTIONS, BEFORE BEGINNING A NEW APPLICATION AND/OR MAKING A PAYMENT, PLEASE CONTACT THE NIGERIAN EMBASSY OR IMMIGRATION OFFICE FOR OPENING DATES/TIMES AND HOURS OF SERVICE. Thanks. |
Snitch24:You are welcome bro. Amen. |
The Dangers Of Volatility Remain However, investors need to be aware that although the outlook seems promising surrounding bitcoin, the world of cryptocurrencies has been punctuated by spectacular rallies before devastating losses occur. According to Fortune’s The Ledger newsletter, “the short answer is that a collapse is all but inevitable — assets that go up 400% are due for a correction.” However, the article noted that a future fall won’t be nearly as severe as before, due to the volume of investment within the currency. The article concludes that this might mean that a future correction could leave bitcoin at around $8,000 — as opposed to $2,000 — signifying a potential area for new investors to wait for before making a purchase. Today, bitcoin looks stronger than ever, so it’s perfectly in-character for cryptocurrency commentators to be predicting lunar launches to over $300,000 as well as crashes toward $8,000 in the same calendar year. As the world’s most famous cryptocurrency surpasses its all-time high price, it will enter uncharted territory. But with the backing of high volumes of long-term investors and the support of huge international payments corporations, the bull run of 2020 may well put an end to the nostalgia of 2017’s millionaire-making chaos. Paving The Way To The Moon “Back in March, I predicted that BTC could reach $50,000 by end-2020 and now there is increasing evidence of that upward trend,” said Antoni Trenchev, co-founder and managing partner at crypto platform Nexo, speaking to Decrypt. “Markets like round numbers — Bitcoin passed $16,000, then $18,000 in a matter of days. The next stop is $20,000,” “$50,000 by the end of this year is not at all unlikely,” he continued. “This will be a record not driven by frenzy, but by the big, forward-thinking, finance and technology-savvy institutions that will push crypto into the mainstream.” Could bitcoin be heading to the moon? Some commentators are claiming that the cryptocurrency will hit highs of $300,000 within a year, fuelling speculation that this could be a key moment in bitcoin’s mainstream adoption. According to a leaked Citibank report, a future bitcoin rally “could potentially peak in December 2021… Suggesting a move as high as $318,000.” “Improbable though that seems it would only be a low to high rally of 102 times (the weakest rally so far in percentage terms) at a point where the arguments in favour of bitcoin could well be at their most persuasive ever,” the report, entitled “Bitcoin: 21st Century Gold,” claimed. |
The cryptocurrency landscape has been obsessed with the famous bull run of Winter 2017, but as bitcoin has surpassed its all-time high price of $19,655, the world of crypto may be venturing toward uncharted territory. There are many factors that went into the mix in creating the right environment for bitcoin to surpass its highs of 2017. The COVID-19 market crash during the spring of 2020 saw BTC fall to around $5,000 momentarily before the prospect of a strong recovery drove fresh investment. Bitcoin’s movement was further bolstered later in the year by the news that PayPal would be accommodating the buying and selling of the cryptocurrency, as well as uncertainty wrought by the U.S. presidential election. Refering to the first attached picture below. Source: CoinTelegraph But what happens next? Bitcoin in recent weeks has recorded a sharp rise in value, gaining as much as 45.8 percent in just one month and crossing an all-time price high, per numerous exchanges. But is the rise sustainable? Or will the world’s most popular digital asset come crashing back down to earth? Building On Market Capitalization Significantly, bitcoin’s market capitalization has grown alongside its snowballing price tag. The market cap of bitcoin surpassed its own all-time high mark on November 17, 2020. The growth of bitcoin’s market capitalization has been so astronomical that it’s now surpassed the likes of PayPal, Netflix, Coca-Cola and Disney to sit among the top 18 largest commercial companies in the world. The larger the market cap, the more sustainable a significant price run is likely to be. This latest boost to bitcoin’s market capitalization has been driven by significant investment from companies like Square and MicroStrategy, as well as the larger levels of accessibility that’s been provided by PayPal making the digital currency available to its 286 million-strong userbase. In another boost to the appeal of bitcoin, the cryptocurrency’s supply is being squeezed following its halving event earlier in 2020 — this is due to less bitcoin being released as a mining subsidy per block. Changing Investor Behavior Following bitcoin’s 2017 rally, a significant crash occurred that the crypto market spent much of the following two years picking itself up from. However, investor behavior today appears to be different to that of 2017. Referring to the second attached picture below. Source: CoinDesk As the chart below indicates, bitcoin has become a far more popular asset for investors on the run-up toward 2020. More wallets that typically buy and hold cryptocurrencies are turning to bitcoin as a crypto safe haven, while fewer cryptocurrency wallets are involved in high magnitudes of trading. The chart also shows that there’s a correlation between a slowing of holder accumulation and a fall in the value of bitcoin. More long-term investment should mean more stability and sustainability when it comes to growth, and as we can see, there’s no sign of long-term BTC investment slowing down right now. The present landscape also has a significant number of high-quality and trustworthy crypto exchanges that have emerged since 2017. This has further helped to leverage growth and confidence in newer investors in a way that can help safeguard bitcoin’s long-term trajectory.

The money to me is too small to start any reasonable business or investment. Engaging in any business/investment that demands for your time will also cause some academic distraction. My advice. Approach a popular real estate company and buy like a half plot of land with the money in a potential area. Thank me back in few years later. |
