wisesystem: Finally located a mechanic who seems to know his onions. Was able to scan my lion and reset the anti pollution fault using a pp2000, dint need to replace the oxygen sensor as I feared. Decided to try his knowledge with the little I ve gathered from the house, so I asked him if I should remove my car thermostat, he advices against it and went on to explain the uses of the thermostat which was very much in line with most of what I have heard on this forum. He also advised I replace my Timing Belt when my mileage clocks 80,000. Paid him 3000 naira for his services which I had to bargain cuz he asked for 5000naira anyway.

Watched him scan my lion and realised the whole process is not actually rocket science so I hope to get a pp2000 and learn how to scan my car myself. Paying 5000k for each scanning will have me covering the cost of a Lexia 3 in just about six diagnoses.
Decided I ll just change my timing belt and get that done with so my car can reach the bill of health I desire for her.Loving my fox by the day guys!!!

Are you now achieving optimum fuel consumption level for the fox? The factory MPG of Peugeot 406 is approximately 39. Is yours up to that?

The milage count is reading 69 000 and some fractions so i think i have a relatively early start to give the best care to my lion... and can forget about Timing Belt issues for now. will wait for your response. Ikenna351: Please house, while assisting owoblo345 in the car hunt, we observed that EW10 (2.0 L) resembles EW7 (1.8 L), both petrol engines. A lot of people will likely have EW7 in their Lions engine bay, thinking that they are EW10. Trust me, you wont know the difference. I couldnt even tell the difference until i did VIN check and realised that some of the 406 we saw thinking their engines were EW10 were actually EW7. So, be aware of that when searching for a Lion to purchase, depending on the engine you are after: EW7 or EW10. Difference is that one has more power than the other. Then, we have 3 EW10 engine type as well. EW10 (RFR) has 145 hp, EW10 (RFN) has 135 hp, while EW10 J4R has 132 hp.

So if you want to know the true engine type and engine identification code, irrespective of what it looks like, post the VIN here and i will get the details for you via Peugeot database. Will also include everyother details about your car that you want to know in the report to post here. It will also help you know which engine oil recommended for your engine.

Also, if you are hunting for a lion to purchase, post the VIN here, so that you will get to know car specifications and if its factory LHD or RHD.

What if you are already in the market place comparing those cars especially those going to Cotonou? It will not be convenient for us to come home to post the VIN and go back to pick it. Is there no other way we can discover that maybe it is written somewhere in the engine.

Nevertheless, I will go for the latter it is stronger with more fuel economy than the former if we are to pick year 2001 of those cars.

Practise all the questions in pathfinder. Try to figure out some probable questions that will come out by looking at the past questions. Those ones that have not come out recently may come in this coming exams. Also there are some that come out every year. Practise and concentrate on those ones. The other advice I will give is to practise your pathfinder objectives and short answer questions thoroughly. Most of the questions are repeated so if you can master them thoroughly, you can score about 30 marks out of 40. You will then need just 20marks more in the theory to pass. I wish you success. Above all put God first.

I heard that apart from the amount on your appointment letter, employees at the Fed Min of Niger Delta are paid 500k each annually as allowance. A cousin working there told me.

When u get to Ejigbo in Ado, turn to Falegan road. The Falegan road links the road to Ilawe (ur speed shud not exceed 70km/h, it is 12km from Ado to Ilawe n it is 15mins journey). Take note dat it is just a straight road that links Ado to Ilawe to Igbara Odo to Igbara Oke in Ondo state. Ilawe road to Igbara Odo is straight n u can increase ur speed to 100km/h(10 mins drive). Also Igbara Odo road to Igbara oke road is 10 mins drive (90km/h). When u get to Igbara Oke, u are almost in Akure. Igbara Oke road links to d express which is 15 mins drive. The whole journey is 50 mins.

I never know that you are living in Ado. I'm a native of Ekiti but live and work in Abuja. It is nice meeting you again. Can you still recollect me? I am the one who requested about Cotonou deal the other time that you texted your number to me. I shall come to meet you one day.

I'll advise you not to always take Ikere road. Take Igbara and enter Ado via Ilawe. The road is very good unlike the former which is full of pot-holes.

Where is your location? Can you bring it to my office at Radio House? Tell me when you will come anytime this week.

I guess I may be the only person in Nigeria that drives a 505 with number plate "505".

So, if you stay in Abuja and an aggressive looking 505 overtakes you on any Abuja Expressway with "505" on the Number plate, you now know who that would be.

Advocate sam: The Gospel truth in terms of cost is dat the cost of buying a car frm Cotonou provided u need genuine clearing document (original custom paper n not tru 'flying' is almost the same with buying ur car in Lagos. For example buying a very good Golf 3 in cotonou with all genuine papers will cost u btw 600k and 650k while it is d same here in Lagos, even u can get 4 550k in Lag.

But the advantage is dat most good cotonou cars are better n reliable than Lagos cars n d reason is dat our dealers are not faithful. An almost dead car or repaired accidented car can be sold for u in Lagos as a good car. But over there u will pick from thousands of cars cos the market is too big dat u can't go round in 72 hrs (3 days). And most dealers not all will tell u d condition of each car inwhich d money u ve will speak n be d determining factor.

In conclusion the best thing is to pray to God or Allah to guide ur step in making decisions in life and in selection too. This type of prayer is applicable here too.
