ThatFairGuy:
Likewise Islam. The evil in it thousand times higher than its good.

You can correct Leader but PROTEST IS NO NO

Protest is a satanic nature and it should not be a part of a person who claims to follow Christ.

Below picture was the outcome of senseless EndSARS protest
I hope you didn't praise Buhari when he lead a protest against the previous administration. If you did, then you and your likes are hypocrites. And Allah hates hypocrites, liars.

I never knew Christ by that time and the same thing applies to him too. Protest is a satanic manifestation. It isn’t according to the knowledge of the truth. A person with knowledge do thing with peace but an ignorant person will act with agitations and violence.

Government everywhere is the same, the world itself is just one reality so incessant protests are never going to affect much so why do it?

I also took a cue from Jesus and the disciples and they obeyed even unto death, can people of today do that?
Off my mention please. You intolerant religious bigot.

Hello,I wouldn't av joined this debate epistle by the xtian on nairaland but i av to due sentences I saw about truth concede by the Muslim.in all ramification on a serious and well practice Muslim,it is forbidden to wage protest, revolt or demonstrate against an injustice leader either been a Muslim or xtian except with one condition, also inciting the public for participations on protest is also against teaching of Islam for those who are well known
The prophet say if any of you seen any bad act from an oppressor or injustice leader,he / she should privately called his attention,is he heard that's good of him and he don't the person already done his own part or responsibility.don't be deceived by peaceful protest,it's only written on paper but cannot be practice practically, there is no leader in the world that is perfect,he /she has many lapses and flaw,if given the opportunity to lead this country, you done worst than the current leader, either pastor or imam,.e.g Floyd George protest and capitol in US is an example peaceful protest, which was later became riot and property destroy, there is nothing like peaceful protest in reality.ENDs SARs is another example in our country which was hijacked by the arsonist and hoodlums,we haven't recover from that till now.every prices goods and services has sky rocketing day by day,let pray for a well betterment of our dear country and pray GOD should guide our leaders right.
This simple question is for those who want the president to leave office
1)supposedly is ur father/uncle was in office in these situation, will you be happy with is remover as a leader
2)will you allow a country/leadership to be separate or disintegrate during ur tenure as a leadership.for those agitating for break up
3)do you think seperatist come peacefully without shady many bloods
4)do you think has a leader, you can satisfy every citizen of ur country, even if given every citizen #1m every month, they will still criticize you.e.g Libya, pls av it mind that you can never satisfy every body.

Quote;I never support the act of injustice and hypocrite by our leader, but let us change and been a good servant to God,he will select a good leader among us,our leaders and representative are all Nigeria and known in our state, but they ignore our dividend of benefit as a citizen .let pray for Nigeria.
Thanks
Claps for you.
But I hope you didn't praise Buhari when he lead the protest before he came to power. That would be hypocritical.

Ezekiel2122:
I can see you are only trying to protect Buhari government by calling it "sincere" government. A government that protect killer herdmen and kill protesters is indeed innocent government. And, by God's grace, before this year runs out, your family will be victim of fulani herdmen and you will be arrested and jail for trying to fight fulani herdmen back then you will say it whether its good and sincere goverment or bad one.
Don't mind the Op. He might be one of the several paid and unpaid proBuhari zombies hiding under the banner of religion to discourage people from speaking up against injustice and misgovernance.

Sorry for jumping into your post, you made a wrong impression by implicating Islam and Muslims to be away from truth. In fact your position of not going against a constituted authorities are the preaching of every sane learned Muslims upon the correct methodology.

For clarification, you can as a writer research and study the correct positions of Islamic scholars upon correct methodology on protest and revolting.
In as much as we are required to live our everyday life in accordance with the teachings of Islam, please take note that Islam, (not political Islam) warns against hypocrisy.

Most of our Muslim brothers are only practicing political Islam. It is hypocritical for any learned Muslim who supported and cheered on Buhari when he lead a protest against the previous administration to now crawl out from somewhere and preach against protest.
Islam encourages truthfulness, uprightness not hypocrisy.
Christianity EtcRe: Should A Believer Join A Protest Against The Government? by TundRash(m): 10:43am On Jun 13, 2021
Quality20:
we as muslims and believers have long been advised against coming out to protest or confront authorities ,simply because the evil in coming out is far more than any perceived benefits. Take a look at libya n syria, are they not worst off, even after many thousands died in those protests?
The problem with most of you who claim that protest is not advisable in Islam is that you are mostly hypocrites. The Buhari that most of you now worship once lead a protest against the previous administration while you cheered him on. Now in the face of insecurity, inflation, maladministration occasioned by recurrent protests, no thanks to the failure of a president, suddenly you people now remember that protest isn't good.

I leave you and your likes for Allah to judge.

TB Joshua's philanthropy benefitted a lot of persons and families around me.
There were times he sponsored the reroofing of many houses blown away by wind. He also donated food items and money to hundreds, if not thousands of poor people around the country.
Look around in SouthWest Nigeria. You should see hundreds of Hilux vehicles he donated to various police posts all around.

He was a great man in his own way.

Nairaland GeneralAward-winning Rat Retires From Cambodian Bomb Sniffing Career. by TundRash(op): 12:42am On Jun 06, 2021
The award-winning seven-year-old rodent has detected 71 landmines and 38 items of unexploded ordnance, according to his employers.

Magawa, an award-winning giant African pouched rat, is retiring after five years of sniffing out land mines and unexploded ordnance in Cambodia.

The seven-year-old rodent, originally from Tanzania, was trained by the Belgian charity APOPO which says Magawa helped clear mines from 225,000 square metres of land in his career, the equivalent of 42 football pitches.

But after detecting 71 landmines and 38 items of unexploded ordnance “he is getting a bit tired,” Michael Heiman, the charity’s programme manager in Cambodia, told AFP news agency on Saturday.

“The best thing to do is to retire him,” Heiman said.

In his autumn years, Magawa will spend more time doing what he loves – eating bananas and peanuts, Heiman added.

The charity trained Magawa in his native Tanzania to detect the chemical compound within explosives by rewarding him with tasty treats.

In 2016, he moved to Cambodia’s northwestern city of Siem Reap, home of the famed Angkor temples, to begin his
bomb-sniffing career.

In September last year the rodent won the animal equivalent of Britain’s highest civilian honour for bravery because of his uncanny knack for uncovering landmines and unexploded ordnance.

Magawa was the first rat to receive a PDSA medal in the 77 years of the awards, joining an illustrious band of brave canines and felines – and even a pigeon.

“Although still in good health, he has reached a retirement age and is clearly starting to slow down,” the charity said.
Magawa, who was born in 2014, can scurry across an area the size of a tennis court in just 30 minutes, something that
would take four days using a conventional metal detector.

He alerts de-miners by scratching the earth.

While many rodents can be trained to detect scents and will work at repetitive tasks for food rewards, APOPO decided
that African giant pouched rats were best suited to land mine clearance because their size allows them to walk across minefields without triggering the explosives – and do it much more quickly than people. They also live up to eight years.

The charity said 20 newly trained rats that recently arrived in Cambodia have just received their accreditation from the authorities to start landmine detection work.

But it will be a tough challenge following in Magawa’s footsteps. Magawa is a “very exceptional rat”, Heiman said. “Obviously we are going to miss him in operations.”
