Who cares? I don't even know her! |
The Efcc has been useless in recent times. Infact, instead of reducing corruption in the country; they are only annihilating issues |
The condition of Nigerian electorates is absolutely pitiable. I want to ask u all some questions! Is speaking big grammer the most important quality you search for in Nigeria's next president? Are u also saying u wouldn't vote for Gej simply because his wife speaks bad english?(imagine!) In summary, you prefer someone who speaks good English but not effective to someone who cannot speak good English but effective?! If yes, then i guess the best option for president come 2011 is Reverend Chris Okotie! Rubbish. Una no get sense at all! |
Anyone who has the guts to insult and degrade the first lady of his or her country on the internet by making unnecessary assertions and childish jests is undoubtedly a big fool. What do you intend to achieve by disgracing yourselves and Nigeria? You are only creating a bad image of Nigeria and most of you are ignorant of that fact. The saying that the Problem of Nigeria is Nigerians is indeed a blatant truth! |
duduspace:you are absolutely right! |
Trust me, these Barca guys are over-confident. This is the same attitude they put on at the emirates 3 weeks ago, tommorrow would not be any different! Great Barca would fall heavily tommorrow. I'm i wrong? Time will tell! |
The Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp has finally seen the error of his ways and has named Arsenal as the team most likely to win the Premiership title. Liverpool beat Man Utd yesterday meaning that, having lost to Chelsea last week, Alex Ferguson ’s team have lost two games in a row for the first time for years. United’s lead at the top of the table has slipped to just three points and Arsenal also have a game in hand over the Red Devils. But Redknapp thinks that United have blown their chance completely, and the only real danger to Arsenal will come from Chelsea, who are currently nine points below the Gunners with a game in hand. He said: “Chelsea could still win the league. It is not impossible. Arsenal, for me, could be favourites to win the championship. “But I wouldn’t write Chelsea off. They are capable of winning seven or eight on the spin. “It is wide open for someone to go and do that.” It’s about time Redknapp saw sense! |
12large1:True Talk! |
bk.babe97y:Gej new? You call someone who has been in this game called politics for more than 12 years, someone who has held political positions at both state and federal levels new? Gej might appear innocent to you, but trust me; he is not what he appears to be!! |
andrewsega:Yeah, if we can win our outstanding game against totteham(which is not going to be an easy task) we would be on par with man u! |
This is the first time in two years that united have lost 2 league games in a row! |
This is the first time in two years that united have lost 2 games in a row |
what a consolation! |
If united play against arsenal like this on saturday, they might get crushed! |
GOOOOAAAALLLLL!!!! Kuty will never score an easier hat- trick in his life but my word United's defenders have some questions to answer. Suarez takes the free kick from 23 yards and Van der Sar gets across to parry it but only into the path of Kuyt, who is the only player to have followed in the free kick, to finish from a yard out. Surely it's game over now. |
ritchboy: ritchboy:Sure! Infact it throws the premier league wide open to the top 6 teams! |
I don't see man u coming back into this game! With the disunited midfield manchester united brought to anfield, the sparkling liverpool lads seem unstoppable. But after all said and done, Football is not mathematics. I believe there is still more to this sunny sunday afternoon fixture! |

As the competition gets tougher each week, contestants are beginning to see that Nigerian Idol is not only a platform for who will eventually emerge winner, but also a big stepping stone for all contestants in the competition. There are indications that two out of the six finalists who recently left the competition may actually be in talks with record label owners who are willing to sign them following a great outing in the competition. A reliable source at the Dream Studios disclosed that “ Lynxx and his team at Syndic8 records are talking to AJ, while Chocolate City wants to sign Tonii ” While AJ’s connection to Syndic8 records still remains unknown, Tonii ’s connection to Chocolate City may not be far from the truth as investigations have it that many believe Audu Maikori is the author of Tonii ’s comeback to the show during the wild card twist. “There are a lot of talented singers in the competition, and trust me, Tonii is one of them, and this does not mean we ’re going to sign her” Audu Maikori disclosed when contacted last week. Ajumoke Nwaeze (AJ) and Toni Afolayan (Tonii) have before now released singles in the Nigerian market. AJ was a former Member of Diamonds band – Winners of 2008 Star Quest, and while still in the Idols house, she made it public that she was no longer a member of the band. Oluwatoni Afolayan whom we have all come to know as Tonii started singing in the church, but became an active actor in the industry in 2008. The unsigned young lady made a lot of buzz with her single “Silateya” in 2008. Since Nigerian Idol debuted on TV on Sunday November 21, 2010, TV audiences in Nigeria, UK and USA have been treated to the highs and lows of hopefuls who trooped out to audition for the music reality show. Last week, Tonii and George left the competition, and it is looking like the contestants are getting used to the Thursday result show as the tears on stage reduced. With Nigerian Idol being its first season, the franchise show is adding more icing to the cake, as there are speculations that the winner will drive home a brand new car in addition to the grand prize of 7.5 million Naira and a record deal with Sony BMG. |
THE end to the protracted doctors ’ strike in Lagos State may not be in sight as the four- week-old strike, on Friday, took a dramatic twist when their colleagues in the federal health institutions in the state threatened to begin a one- week warning solidarity strike by tomorrow. The solidarity strike is expected to convey to the Lagos State Government the displeasure of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) over the lingering impasse between them and the doctors. With the latest development, which would remove the only respite left for Lagosians seeking healthcare services in the state public sector, many more preventable deaths are likely to be recorded particularly from emergency and referral cases, if nothing urgent was done to resolve the face-off between the doctors and the state government. Only patients already on admission in Federal Government health institutions in the state, including Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Federal Medical Centre, Ebute- Meta and National Orthopaedic Hospital, Igbobi, would be attended to during the one-week solidarity strike. No new patient including emergency cases would be accepted. Briefing newsmen after an emergency general meeting of the state NMA, the Lagos State chairman of the association, Dr. Edamisan Temiye, alleged that the state government had failed to honour its agreement with the doctors that in January 2011, it was going to implement the Consolidated Medical Salary Structure (CONMESS), fully for members of the guild, reinstate Dr. Olaifa, a victimised member, and review the heavy tax doctors pay to the state government. |
