The whole point of resuming after the elections is unreasonable! I do not concur with the idea of the school's resumption date being determined by the elections. A lot of schools are currently in session! Now that the nass elections has been postponed till April 26th, our hopes of resuming this month has just probably been bashed! |
dayokanu:Mr Man, whose side are you on? Youths that tried to rigg elections by laying ambush for election materials or a free and fair election! These youths died as a result of their own evil proposed election deeds, u should thank the government not condemn them! |
Good Boi:Dating her does not stop you from paying attention to your books! Opportunity comes but once oh, if u like her better grab her! Lol |
We need a generational change! Ribadu all the way! |
The South West belongs to Ribadu! Any Yoruba Man or Woman that votes for Buhari is indeed a disgrace to our principles, norms and history! Even if ribadu doesn't win the elections, we yorubas would by then know that we have tried our best for Nigeria! Ribadu and Acn all the way!! |
lmao! |
Ribadu and acn all the way! |
*nothing to post, just passing by* |
Happy April Fools Day! |
After much talks and underground rumours, that opposition parties in the April polls plan to form a coalition against the ruling pdp in order to unseat them from power, after 12 years of ruling the Country's highest political position, Ribadu and Sherakau after a 6 hour non stop meeting, have signed an agreement pact with The Buhari/Bakare Team and endorsed them for 2011 and hence pulled out of the presidential race! It is reported that ribadu and shekarau agreed to the pact on certain conditions which includes making them part and parcel of his administration if eventually elected. This is a big blow to Gej whose plans of becoming president of Nigeria for the next four years seems to have gone down the drain. Our reporters, are trying to get more reactions to this sudden event and you would be updated about later Uprisings! |
Only a Fool would vote for buhari, take it or leave it! |
Ileke-IdI:Must you ask this same stupid question on every thread you don't like? |
kunlexist: kunlexist:You are obviously contradicting yourself! The panel was set up by the VC himself, therefore he delegated some of his powers to them! If the panel decided or rather proposed april 26 as the resumption date, then so be it! Nothing can change that! |
kunlexist:Well, the main thing is that the panel has decided that the school be reopened on april 26! Little or nothing can change that decision! I don't even seem to get the message you are trying to pass across sef. |
I've said this time without number, if u carefully observe the people who are clamouring for 'BB 2011', you discover that they are not so smart persons who are probably not in their right senses! The people i pity most are the sons of the yoruba soil who are supporting him, its a pity you can't see beyond your noses! Ribadu All The Way |
Manuel87:Yes i am! |
After a senate meeting some hours ago, it has been decided that the school be re-opened 26th of april! Matriculation has been billed to take place 1st or 2nd week of may! |
sultan003:you are wrong! A 4-3-1-2 diamond formation is a type of 4-4-2! It consists of 4 defenders, 4 midfielders(one of which would play at a free and wide attacking midfield position) then 2 strikers! |
i've been at home 4 almost 6 weeks now, and there is still no hope of resumption! Chai, oau una no do well oh |
fashola 4 governor 2011, fashola 4 president 2015! |
AS the much awaited general elections kicked off this weekend, former Head of State and Presidential candidate of the Congress for Progressive Change, CPC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari (rtd), yesterday, called on Nigerians to hold President Goodluck Jonathan responsible if the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, failed to conduct free and fair elections. He recalled that President Jonathan had pledged before the international community that the legacy he would want to leave before Nigerians was to conduct free and fair election. Buhari stated this yesterday at Government House, Benin when he paid a courtesy visit to Governor Adams Oshiomhole of Edo State as part of his presidential campaign activities in the state. He was accompanied by the national chairman of the party, Prince Tony Momoh; his running mate, Pastor Tunde Bakare and his wife; the state chairman of the party, Godwin Erahon and other national leaders of the party. According to him, “we are so much pressed for time and space because we are a new party… but the important thing for us now is what our boss, Mr President, said in his first outing when he met the President of the United States, President Barack Obama and on his second outing again in the United Nations where he said if there is one thing he would like to do is to conduct a free and fair election. “The CPC is holding him to that but all the same, we are not absolutely sitting down, we are mobilising all our supporters and indeed all Nigerians that this time around, they must insist that their votes count, there is nothing wrong with that and we are very pleased about that.” He assured Nigerians that his administration would address the challenges of education, healthcare delivery and create job opportunities for Nigerians. Oshiomhole on challenge of credible election Responding, Gov. Oshiomhole said the challenge of credible election was a task for all Nigerians irrespective of political affiliation. “We need to create an enabling environment which is a condition precedent to the much talked about commitment to one man one vote. For one man one vote to take place, voters must know what the issues are and they must know the candidates and, therefore, governments— federal, states and local government —have a responsibility if one man one vote will be a reality, to be seen beyond rhetoric to allow all candidates without any hindrance to go to any part of the country to present their case and to carry out imparting of ideas between candidates of various parties at all levels,”he said. Oshiomhole narrated that “in Edo State, we are proud of what we have been able to do, namely, that every candidate is welcomed here and we must have equal access to the print and to the electronic media including government-owned media. Every minute they allocate to one party, an equal time must be allocated to other parties.” |
I don't believe in an extremist, i don't believe in a clueless man! I believe only in a young man who understands the needs of the youth, a man who can give nigeria a generational change! Ribadu all the way!! |
very useless thread |
Miss Mbalaso made it to the final four on Koko Mansion which ran on HiTV in 2009 Phones have been buzzing and messages flooding in. And, sadly, we can now confirm that Chidinma Mbalaso, the beautiful Koko Mansion contestant, who was yesterday involved in a road mishap in Kaduna, is dead. Details are scanty for now, but multiple sources, including Koko Mansion winner Bolanle Okhiria and another contestant Sharon Ojong have confirmed Chidinma ’s unfortunate passing. Okhiria was in tears when she spoke with us few minutes ago. Also, Abuja-based Amara Nwakpa, who sources say was close to the deceased, has taken to microbloging site Twitter to announce her death and bless her soul. ‘RIP Chidinma Mbalaso – 22 Jan 1989 – 25 Mar 2011. You will be remembered fondly and with love. Adieu little sister ’ Nwakpa posted through his handle (@bubusn). Mbalaso, who schooled at University of Abuja, and was building a career as a stylist and actress, was reportedly in a Coma for hours, as friends and family members ran helter- skelter trying to get her blood donation. ‘She lost so much blood. We were really working hard all night to get blood donations’ a friend tells us. From midnight to this morning, several messages were spreading, urging anyone with contacts in Kaduna to please rise up and convince them to donate blood for the young lady. ‘Chidinma is at St Gerald’s hospital in Kaduna. Please call … (numbers withheld) if you can help. If you ’re a B- or O-. She needs blood donation. Please save a life. Thanks !’ A reliable source tells us she was on her way back to Abuja, from Kaduna where she had gone to pick up her car. ‘This was her first car; she paid for with her money. She was driving back to Abuja when a motorcycle ran into her path. She was trying to avoid the motorcycle when she lost control …’ Miss Mbalaso’s death, coming a day after that of comedian CD John, and about a year to the anniversary of Dagrin ’s, brings to the fore again, the horrible state of Nigerian roads, and the mess our medical system is in. No word yet from HiTV or Mohits, but our reporters are working the phones to get more details and reactions.

acn all the way! |
I shake my head when i see some threads! I see or reason why someone in his or her right senses! No wonder these are the same set of people clamouring for a clueless old man like buhari |
Say no to buhari now!! |
sleekman:During the debates, ribadu showed great zeal and determination in terms of making changes to the pitiable condition of our nation. Though, he might have made many unecessary statements and hir english was not so understandable; he still made crucial points unlike buhari who behaved like a clueless old man through out! Ribadu, intelligently answered questions relating to his previous position as the efcc chairman and brilliantly dismissed claims that he made a rather protruding statement about tinubu being a looter in international dimensions! The way he answered his questions were impressively detailed and he concentrated on the word 'how' which helped him a lot. Though, he seemed aggressive and his command of queen's english wasn't smooth; he surely didn't have a bad night! |
Fashola is a very intelligent man who has all the qualities you want in a leader! He is cool headed, objective and behaves like a real gentleman by putting the interests of Lagosians at heart! This guy could be a future president. . .who knows? Acn all the way! |
soyinka is absolutely right! Pdp has nothing to offer Nigerians! Acn all the way!! |
There is no proof to back up utomi's statements. I belief he was only talking out of bitterness and making mere assumptions! |
