Arsenal lost yesterday because Fabregas was playing nonsense throughout; if he knows he is tired of playing for arsenal, let him get the h.ell out of our club. Chamahk on the other hand is a useless player and i don't know where Arsene Wenger picked up that red-card sweared kioscelny from. |
I'm happy Chelsea lost; at least it gives we Arsenal fans some hope. |

There is no doubt that Arsene wenger is the best coach in England. Alex Ferguson is nos 2 while Henry Redknapp is nos 3. |

Mr stevetboy09, i didn't like the fact that u tried to categorise private schools. You mentioned some schools earlier, as though they can not be linked or associated with the matter on ground. I only tried to distinguish some basic facts from each other, in order express disagreement with ur baseless statement. So don't try to complicate issues here by trying to insult me with ur sarcastic assertions and uncooked statements. Thank you. |

@johnpaul, i hope u can hear what Gakin said. |
stevetboy9:With all due respect, i would like to say that the fact that these schools aforementioned above are popular and expensive schools does not take away the possibility of them being involved in examination malpractises. Infact, most expensive secondary schools are specialist in Examination malpractises; infact, why wouldn't they be? Imagine paying multi-thousands of naira every session just to give ur kid the best of education and he/she brings home a bad result at the end of the day; that could be very painful to the parents you know. Therefore, i would like you to desist from and also rescind ur idea of spreading fallacies and notions indicating that popular and expensive schools don't involve in examination malpractises.Thank You |

Admission into a Nigerian university is very hard because 1) Every Nigerian Youth thinks if he doesn't go to a university, then he is a failure( That is why u would see someone writing Jamb ten times, all in the name of gaining admission into a university, when he could easily get admitted into a polythecnic or a college of education with no stress). I will advise our Nigerian youths to start opting for Polythecnics and other relevant tetiary institutions other than wasting their valuable time trying to gain admission into a university. 2)The problem of gaining admission into a university is also due to 'Poor infrastruture and limited learning aids' which are essential as far as university education is concerned. An average university in Nigeria has the capability of admitting just 4000 students per session. If every university in Nigeria is properly upgraded to admit at least 10000 students per session, then i tell u without any iota of doubt or mixed feelings that our problems of 'admission' in this country would drastically reduce. Other reasons include, bad leadership, bribery and corruption, University politics and bad secondary schools amongst others. If we are able to tackle all the above problems efficiently, The problems of Admission into Nigerian University would be HISTORY. |

While i was in primary school, one of the important subjects i did was Vocational education. Nowadays, no school is interested in offering this subject. Its a pity that our people have been blindfolded by the believe that Uni degree= financial security. Nowadays, that equation doesn't work anymore. I know of a lot of skilled workers( like carpentars, plumbers, welders e.t.c) who are living comfortably and are financially secured. A lot of graduates roam the streets looking for jobs, but as a skill worker; u are self_employed. The earlier we delete the notion that without a uni degree, u cannot make it in life from the minds of our people the better. Vocational education is the only way to reduce unemployment in this country. 'Vocational Education has come to stay' |

@johnpaul88, so when exactly are non-freshers going to resume; so that i would know when lectures would begin. Talking about the admission list, my friend who is a student of the school told me he is not aware of any admission list being pasted anywhere on campus, but i believe Gakin has access to the admission list since he is close to a admission officer; that is why we are all asking him to check our names for us. @Okaroabire; u are a doubting Thomas, anywayz, nufin do you. |

Let me share my experience with u guys. My mother's genotype is AS, while my father's genotype is AC. I ended up with SC. In my earlier years, i had slight difficulties with my health; i use to have Rheumatism and Malaria most of the time. But when i reached the age of 13, i rate at which i fell sick started to reduce, by the time i got to 15, i had no problems with my health anymore; though i live on a prescribed health routine; i'm not allowed to eat too much of junk food and food items that contain too much sugar. But Right now, i'm strong and healthy; i'm very plumby, infact 'nothing do me'. All i'm trying to say is that SC is not as severe as SS. People living with genotype SC don't turn out to be sicklers if they are properly taken care of and if they live an healthy lifestyle. As for the woman who aborted her pregnancy because the child's genotype is SC, you made a terrible mistake; you should have held on to that child. I'm not undermining the severity of the SS genotype,(They suffer a lot, and they don't live long); but genotype SC is not as severe as SS. If u have a child with genotype SC, don't loose hope; take proper care of the child and he/she would survive, just like i did! Thanks. |
