Men, i don't know what to say, i guess God is on my side. Thank You Jesus, it is only you i trust and serve. Thank you gakin for the relevant information you have been giving us, u seem to replace muyeskin who seems to have abandoned us; and thanks for checking my name on the list, i'm so happy. Talking about my O'level result, i have all my papers including English and Maths; so thats not a problem. @all, this prooves that the list on the jamb site has some truth in it; if u have been admitted on the jamb site, there is no cause to worry!

Let me just clear the air here. Most pple whose names are on jamb site will still make oau's list provided they all meet the requirement on oau website. Some pple wrote some subject in their jamb and post utme relyn on jamb's brochure which are not in conformity with oau's requirement. Pls note that if u wrote commerce in Utme, your name CANNOT be on the list n others which are different from those on jamb website. D guy askn about D.E, your list is ready with d merit list, rmmbr dt all of u r qualified but D.E is strictly 4 those wif d longest 'leg' and those who r God's friend. Those askn 4 my no, here it is- 08062470912, 08181203566. N.B: Nothn is impossible wif God.

Havn't u checked 4 name yet, pls i'm awaiting ur reply. Talking about utme subject combination, i wrote eng, maths, econs and accounts, & my course is accounting, i hope thats the proper subject combination for my course(according to oau's requirement).

Kunlexist, the exams u are talking about are the entrance exams for the new predegree students who would be admitted for the year 2010/2011 (session). The results which gakin is talking about is the final exams which the predegree students for the year 2009/2010 (session) wrote last month. They are the ones who are expecting the admission lists alongside we jambites and D.e students for the year 2010/2011 session

a friend of mine who is a student of the school, actually told me the list would be released oct 4, that same day when i logged in to nairaland, i saw gakin95 giving out the same information on his thread, so i believed the information was authentic. Maybe Oau intentionally postponed the releasing dates Cos i see no other reason why the list wasn't released that day! I know by God's grace my name would appear; i mean, i beat the cut off, jamb has released my name and God is on my side. I have nothing to worry about! 'In God I Trust'

Yeah, i think i trust Gakin95, but can u help me check my name; i will be very greatful. My reg nos is-0616674FF. But wait, Oau is one of the few schools in Nigeria who have not released any list yet, i bet they are tired of holding on to it; like Gakin said the list would come out soon, i have no choice but to believe him! To say the truth, I'M SICK, TIRED & BORED of oau!!!!

@hurieta, the list on the jamb site is for jambites who beat the cut-off only(merit)

@ccollins, u are talking like an ignorant fellow; u don't know what u're saying. Oau admits most of its students by merit. Oau admits the best of minds from all over the country and beyond to groom and train them into refined talents that would contribute to the development of our country and beyond. If u are not brilliant or sound academically, don't attempt Oau b'cos ur chances of not being admitted are very high, instead, Go to a school like Unn, b'cos they do a lot of partiality in terms of admitting students, a lot of people who deserve to be there are dropped every year!

There is no need for argument guys, oau is the best university in Nigeria. Oau is the biggest and most beautiful university in Nigeria. It has a conducive environment for learning, b'cos it is located in a serene and green evironment. When u enter the gates of Oau, you are welcomed to a green life, filled with trees,flowers and other nature's gift. Forget about their shortcomings(like consistent strike action), Graduates of oau are the best experts money can buy in all sectors of the economy throughout the whole of Nigeria. Academics is not a child's play at oau, but you get to mix with a lot of people and enjoy an impressing social life.Oau offers the best tetiary education but is the cheapest university in Nigeria(in terms of school fees).Check out Zain's African challenge(A competition which involves selected universities in Africa, coming together to see which university in Africa is best in terms of Academics) Oau was the only university that stood the test of time in the competition. Ladies & gentlemen,there is no doubt that oau is the best university in Nigeria, and one of the best in Africa, ALL HAIL GREAT IFE!!!

oau is too slow in everything, imagine spending 12 years at oau for a course of just 4 years. I just pray everything will be fine soon

This ASUU strike has further broken our hopes of early releasing of the merit list. I hope they end it tomorrow as speculated. Also, (rumours) i heard that the Vc has made the list released on the jamb website official, he said if u find ur name on the merit list, prepare 4 registration. But he gave no reason for the delay of the releasing of the merit list on their portal.

Oau is the best. ALL HAIL GREAT IFE!!!
