Football Manager 2012 allows you to take control of any club in over 50 nations across the world, including all of the biggest leagues across Europe. You’re in the hot-seat, which means you decide who plays and who sits on the bench, you’re in total control of tactics, team-talks, substitutions and pitch-side instructions as you follow the match live with the acclaimed 3D match engine allowing YOU to make the difference! As the boss you’ll also have full control of team affairs away from the pitch: Will you spend big-money on expensive superstars or put a focus on scouting for wonderkids? How will you approach training & match preparation? Will you be the chairman’s best friend or always demand the best investment from the board? How do you react when a young star has problems – a shoulder to cry on or a clip round the ear? And how will you deal with tricky questions from the media? Now it’s time to put your opinions to the test. New & improved key features for Football Manager 2012: Manage Anywhere, Anytime – the ability to add or take away playable nations in your saved game as often as you want. Manage in that country at the start of the next season - meaning you don’t have to decide on which nations are playable at the start of your career. Transfers & Contracts – significant changes to the transfer and contract systems, including loyalty bonuses, better implementation of amateur and youth contracts, an improved transfer centre and the ability to lock areas of the contract negotiation when you aren't prepared to budge. This helps you to manage your budgets and gives you flexibility in what you offer money hungry players, or agents, as incentives. Scouting improvements – using several real life scouting reports, a new in-game report was devised which includes squad analysis, tactics information and information about goals scored and conceded alongside lots of other scouting improvements, giving you all the information you need to prepare before kick-off and throughout the season. 3D Match Improvements – new animations, a whole new crowd system, improved weather system, more stadiums, plus two brand new cameras - "Behind Goal" and "Director Cam" as well as all other camera angles being reversible - meaning you can watch and analyse every aspect of every game. Intelligent Interface – a new adaptive layout system, which means the higher your screen resolution, the more info is easily at your fingertips. The new interface also contains new filters, customisable columns, a new tactics screen, and lots of new overview screens. Tone – a whole new level has been added to team talks and conversations, with the new tone system, which allows you to specify the way you want to say things – be as cool as a cucumber by saying things calmly or throw tea cups around by saying things with passion. There are 5 different tones to choose from with specific comments per tone. Brand New Tutorial – standing separate from the main game, a mode to help new players find their way around the game easily, whilst also offering tips to experienced managers on how to get the most out of the game, as well as a new in-game “how to” system. On top of these key innovations, there are over 800 new features making huge improvements, such as the media system, press conferences, the youth system, newgens, the social networking options, friendlies, international management and many more which will be detailed in a series of video blogs over the coming months, alongside more information about Football Manager 2012. |
190_@:Cans someone please seriously tell me if dis 190 guy is a bot or human |
The following iterative sequence is defined for the set of positive integers: n n/2 (n is even) n 3n + 1 (n is odd) Using the rule above and starting with 13, we generate the following sequence: 13 40 20 10 5 16 8 4 2 1 It can be seen that this sequence (starting at 13 and finishing at 1) contains 10 terms. it is thought that all starting numbers finish at 1. Which starting number, under one million, produces the longest chain? NOTE: Once the chain starts the terms are allowed to go above one million. |

if u followed this thread from the beginning u would have realised that i never undermined fela. and like i said earlier i respect baba fela a lot. im only questioning his iconic status. I think fela is being hypocriticaly iconized. A yoruba adage: says were dun wo amo kose fi toro omo. Meaning a madman's display is pleasing to the eyes but not to the heart. Lyke i said how many people really wish to have fela-esque children. This is why i question his iconic status.N.B Im not a fela hater or critic. i would have shared more links to butress fela's hypocritical iconic status but i dont want to turn the thread into an anti-fela blog. so i would rest my case. thanks et al.l. |
tosinaded@:I promised to ignore you but read this http://blog.felaonbroadway.com/2009/11/felas-stark-naked-jig.html I think it a great privilege to be the first daughter of a great man like Fela Anikulapo Kuti. I remember a lot of the stories my mother and grandmother told me of the times they had with Fela in England when they met. Fela and my mother, Remi, were so young and full of life! There was one funny story about the British people that I find amusing to this day. You know how British people can be reserved but nosy? So my grandmother and her neighbour used to peep at each other every day and gossip about whatever they saw. Fela used to watch them and one day while she was in the act of peeping he just pulled open the curtain and exposed her. She was so upset she went red with embarrassment. Another time, while the other neighbour was peeping, he pulled the curtain and did a jig while he was stark naked. I suppose that would have cured that lady of peeping and I’m sure it cured my grandmother somewhat. This kind of story doesn’t detract from the sheer talent and heavily ideological mind that he had and his dream for the emancipation of the Black race. When I was a teenager I went to many university lectures with him that has influenced my own ideology until today. He expanded my mind to the great history of our people from the Pharaohs in Egypt right up to the slave trade. I know that the corruption of our leaders was the one thing that gave Fela the greatest concern, but I think he was disillusioned at the time of his death. No matter how many songs he sang about corruption and mismanagement we still went out and voted for the worst culprits that he’d already warned us about. A good example is our former president, Obasanjo. Despite being a topic of many Fela songs, we still voted him into office and when he did not perform well we complained. If only we had listened to Fela we would have know he was unlikely to do anything positive. You know Fela’s name, Anikulapo-Kuti (which I bear with pride) means “I have death in my pouch.” Many people would not understand that name, but the real meaning is what we see now: his name never dies. The present interest in him is as if he was still alive. For generations to come Fela will be a source of inspiration to millions of people around the world. I feel proud to be his daughter and could not have asked for a greater father. ~Yeni Anikulapo Kuti you probably know better than she does ![]() |
tosinaded@:Ill ignore you el_cij:you answered my question thanks for that and i think i now get it thanks for the explanation and thanks et al |
@tosinaded whatever happened to that piece of meat inbetween you skull will remain a mystery unsolved but for future purposes lemme get this into your empty skull i was only asking a question ive read several books on fela and even listen to some of his songs. however i am asking what exactly elevated him to the iconic status. why is soyinka a national icon? ans = the first african nobel laureate abi why is fela a national icon? ans = tosinaded@: |
campbell05:Who am i to insult baba fela all i am asking is why he is being referred to as a "national icon". I respect his music and i still listen to a selected few on rare days I dont think he has done anything to deserve that |
eghost247:If i go by your analogy i guess anybody who goes to alagbon for months can comeback as a national icon ![]() |
ikooko: |
ikooko:thnanks for your answer Him talking can be likened to the eedris abdulkareem/lagbaja/african china who are also are (though lesser) critics of the situation in the country of nowadays singing should we also turn them into icons yes i agree fela was a vocal criric of the government but calling him an icon is what im questioning fela is no role model no body wishes to live his life the way he did and dont forget he tried politics himself if he had succeded would he have been better than the current crops of leaders |
does anyone of you wish his child be live his life like fela no i guess. then what is iconic about him??list his significant achievements and dont bullshit me about afrobeat coz even fela credited it to someone else |
Im starting this thread to know if fela there was anything else to fela's vocal crictism of the then militia government. Is he really a icon as in do we wat our childdren to be like him or what. - walking nakedly in the streets - marrying 27 wives in one day - attempt to register his political party, MOP (Movement of the People), but was thwarted by a government who believed (accurately, as it turned out) that he wanted to cause an uprising. - or smoking weeds openly; even the popular afrobeat for which has been accredited to a particular tony allen Fela once famously stated that, "without Tony Allen, there would be no Afrobeat". so what exactly has he done to give him his "iconic status"

Its simple al-mustapha is playing the last card he has . he is indirectly threatening blackmail on the "bribed yoruba leaders". He's probably seeking for attention from them if not why tell a story and not mention the main actors |
electriciTY might be one of our problems but it is nit the only one. i think the only natural disaster nigeria has as a country is bad leaders and BLACK mentality |
Dammy its ope we need to talk! |
