West-Ham Utd PPDA - 18.03 TPF - 6.5 AMP - 2.06 Liverpool PPDA - 8.6 TPF - 24.04 AMP - 2.1 This match met expectations. Full of tactical traps. Excellent performance from West-Ham. The Reds' engine needs no tweaking. |
What CFC' fans so bitter about? The team performance was commendable. Don't start to pin faults on individuals. Your soldiers fought well today. #Int'l_Break next

3. DEVELOP A "LATTICEWORK" MENTAL MODEL In the book - "Poor Charlie Almanack" Billionaire and Philanthropist Charlie Munger gave this advice: "You must know the big ideas in the big disciplines and use them routinely - all of them, not just a few. Most people are trained in one model - economics, for example - and try to solve all problems in one way. You know the old saying, "To the man with a hammer, the world looks like a nail". This is a dumb way of handling problems...." https://i0.wp.com/latticeworkinvesting.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Latticework-of-Mental-Models-Approach12.jpg? The "latticework" mental model (aka Multiple Mental Model) is learning the BIG IDEAS in these profound disciplines: HISTORY, PSYCHOLOGY, MATHEMATICS, PHYSICS, BIOLOGY, STATISTICS, ECONOMICS and CHEMISTRY. The play is, multiple ideas from a variety of disciplines, applied with fluency, are needed to understand any system. In his word: "I've long believed that a certain system - which almost any intelligent person can learn - works way better than the systems that most people use. What you need is a multiple mental models in your head. And, with that system, things gradually get to fit together in a way that enhances cognition". Having this kind of model gives you enormous edge over others. You get to leverage your time and solve problems efficiently (that's a special skill). In his book, "From Zero to One", (try to read this book) Peter Thiel, co-founder of PayPal recognised the importance of the multiple mental model in helping the PayPal creators achieved what he called "vertical progress". You must strive to acquire skills that nobody else has especially in COMBINATIONS that are RARE. If you can re-bound the ball and nobody else does it quite the way you can, you can be a Hall of Fame basketball player. That applies to all the things in your career and in life. 2. LEVERAGE https://thumbor.forbes.com/thumbor/fit-in/900x510/https://www.forbes.com/advisor/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/leverage-investing.jpg You have to transcend your constraints as a limited human being, meaning getting leverage on your TIME. You have a finite number of hours in a day and in life, that's why you need to use your special skills to create a wealth engine which provides you money and WEALTH. This is in contrast to a get-rich-quick scheme which gives you money but no way to get more. It's money without WEALTH, a one time thing. If you only engage in business transactions that's a one-time thing, that you can't repeat: that's money without WEALTH. |
Remember, if you can do things that nobody else can do, you'll have skills that are literally priceless. To be frank, this is one of the brutal facts of the modern economy - "You can either live above the API or below the API" API stands for Application Protocol Interface. It's how program talk to each other. Programs now governs all aspects of how human transact business and operate with one another. For example: As a driver for Uber, you end up following the direction of the app; which means you have to work below the API. It's useful to society but because there alot of other people who can drive too, you ain't using special skills. If you create Uber and own it, you are above the API and you get to build and maintain the system that gives people what they want. |
Let's take a few lessons from the story of Dennis Rodman - He started his first job as a Janitor in an airport at age 18, janitors are really important and needed but there are lot of people who can do that job. So, why there's plenty of demand; there's also a lot of supply because the job doesn't require any specialised skill to do it. Rodman gave basketball a chance in college and in return basketball gave him a chance. While playing basketball in college, he developed a skill nobody else had - "REBOUNDING" at the extreme level. https://cdn.nba.com/manage/2021/10/Dennis-Rodman-Bulls-Hero.png He was the 'Ngolo Kante' of Basketball during that period, he won his team five (5) NBA Championships and ended up becoming a Hall of Fame basketball player. How did he achieve that?? He did something nobody else did, or even knew that they should do and that made him extremely valuable to his team. |
https://www.elitetraveler.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/12/Four-Seasons-Hotel-George-V-Paris.png THREE (3) PATHWAYS TO AMASS REAL WEALTH 1. SKILLS https://digitalskillsacademyng.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/digital-skills-academy.jpg One of the pathways to amass WEALTH is getting special skills, especially in rare combo. Special skills gives you an edge over the competition. You must differentiate yourself from the herd, desist from acquiring skills that requires no special ability to master. Not all skills are valued at the same price. It's basic economy, too much supply of anything makes it almost worthless. In Nigeria of today, we have enormous untapped labour pool but little demand. One of the underlying reasons for this is: too much undifferentiated skills. https://cdn.elearningindustry.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/10/7-Benefits-That-Highlight-The-Importance-Of-Soft-Skills-In-The-Workplace-768x431.png |

A wise fellow once said - "......if you were in the middle of the Antartica, where there is nothing to buy, it wouldn't matter how much money you had. WEALTH is what you want, not money....." https://merriam-webster.com/assets/mw/images/gallery/gal-wap-slideshow-slide/a-wealth-of-words-croesus-12332x.jpg What's WEALTH? Money is a way of moving WEALTH. People often use both terms interchangeably but they are not the same thing. Talking about making money can make it hard to understand how to amass real WEALTH. Here's Allan Watts talking with some politicians who are absolutely convinced money is the real deal - "...the problem with you gentlemen is, you still think MONEY is real. It just ain't real at all. It's only an accounting of available energy, economic energy! It only represent WEALTH like words has to meaning, money is not WEALTH..." |

4. Makes a good brain workout One of the amazing things about jumping rope is that it doesn't just benefit your outer appearance, but also your brain. Activities that have physical and mental demands like jumping rope have stronger impacts on cognitive functioning. Jumping helps improve the development of the left and right hemispheres of the brain. As a result, it boosts your memory reading skills, and mental awareness.
|
3. Develops agility and quickness Want to be able to move quickly and lightly? Jumping rope for 15 minutes a day can help you achieve that. It also helps your body connect with your mind to make neural muscular adjustments, improving your balance. It targets your calves, knees and ankle joints. In essence, this exercise can boost your quickness and balance by making your mind concentrate on footwork for sustained periods. That's why professional boxers favor jump rope so much.
|
Benefits 1. It burns calories Only a handful of exercises can burn calories as jump rope does. Even jumping at a moderate rate can already burn off 10-16 calories a minute. Increase your jump rope exercises into a 15-minute round and you are looking at 240 calories. Furthermore, skipping rope for 15 minutes is around the same thing as running an 8-minute mile. 2. Improves bone density According to studies, jumping rope for 15 minutes a day can provide greater bone-building benefits than running. Even for elderly and athletes, simply is one of the top effective exercises for boosting bone density. https://hips.hearstapps.com/hmg-prod.s3.amazonaws.com/images/screen-shot-2020-01-09-at-13-22-08-1578576189.png

To spice things up and inject a bit more fun, try performing different tricks and alternate your speed. If you are in doubt of the benefits of jumping rope or are just aren't confident with not looking silly when doing it at home, allow this write-up to convince you otherwise. |
Jump rope is easy to incorporate whether in your daily morning or evening routines. Depending on your free time, it can be used as a warm-up, or an exercise itself. It's a great calorie burner, for one. Another thing is that it helps develop your mental capacity. https://purewows3.imgix.net/images/articles/2020_05/benefits-of-jumping-rope-girl-jumping-rope-in-street.jpg |
5. All the muscles that haven't worked before will be working hard. You should be able to see some improvements in functional strenght within a month of doing 50 pushups. https://musclemania.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2015/04/simeon.png |
4. Performing 50 pushups a day is a lot already, for obese and overweight individuals, they will see more visible results since they have often had fats concentrated in the muscle group (bicep/tricep/deltoid). Consequently, the overall aesthetic and image of themselves will improve. https://musclemania.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2015/02/Simeon.jpg |
3. When the back muscles and tricep are stretched, they work together to expand each muscle. So, when you are doing 50 pushups every morning, it's likely that you can feel an odd click or movement within these muscles. https://musclemania.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2015/05/Simeon.jpg |
How will your body react after a month? 1. Pushups drive your HEART to work harder. The heart doesn't just pump blood to fuel the arm, but it also does the same for your abdomen muscles. This continuous pumping enhances cardiovascular endurance, which can result in very tangible effects, like improving heart health and reducing body fat. https://musclemania.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2020/09/4-3.jpg 2. Perfoming 50 pushups everyday for a month will absolutely activate that muscle group (bicep, tricep and deltoid areas). That is because, if your muscles haven't been put to work before, it's likely that the odd movement of your body will abruptly force it into action. For people who haven't done 50 pushups for a day in a while, chances are, the effects you will feel will be more pronouced. https://musclemania.com/wp-content/uploads/sites/5/2020/09/2-1.jpg |
Pushups are a common exercise used by many to strengthen their core and upper body. Most like to include pushups in their daily exercise routine. https://sm.mashable.com/mashable_sea/photo/default/89461307-3473785882645701-4181044426639933440-o_g6ep.jpg Although pushups mainly activate muscles in the shoulders and arms, they are also effective at engaging muscles in legs and core. As such they are beneficial for building strenght throughout the body. https://sm.mashable.com/mashable_sea/photo/default/64483896-2821133044568811-4058319064756387840-o_pp2t.jpg YouTube/Bright_Side |
