Nna mehn, it's been a bad couple of days. Half my profits made this month were wiped out. I sold half my portfolio and left the key ones with events coming up like AdA and Kava, or those like Matic with longer term potential. Half bread is better than none.

All is valid, but I believe if we were in it for marginal percentage gains, we would not be in crypto but in other securities. What you are doing is high frequency straddle trading which requires high turnover of multiple small percentage gains. Generally in Crypto, I find that method to make one miss out on moves.

I don't understand hedging in Crypto sha. So even if your coin does 2x, you will wipe yourself out taking an opposite trade?

Put in a negligible amount in shorting with maximum leverage.
If tanking had occurred, my spot position would be affected but can be held to recover later while the profit from shorting will create a bit of balance in the usd value of the portfolio.
As it happened, the loss � isn't much and my spot position improved. The profit/loss isn't bad if but would have been worse if there was dump.
This is my thinking and stand to be corrected.
