I will not descend to your despicable level and bandy words with you. It's not in vain that the wise ones said that empty vessels makes the loudest noise, and we can see the manifestation of that on this very thread and on every page.
Who comes online and brag about these things? common! It's only a child who is still living with his parents, battered by irredeemable poverty and hopelessness.
I will take the timeless advice of not casting pearls to swines, for a swine is far better than you in all ramifications. You can go ahead and insult your children, parents, lineage and community for all I care.
I remain untouched by your pettiness and insolence |

nitigriti: True, but the time, the cost and the possibility of making an error using fake parts passed off as original makes buying a direct tokunbo more sensible Once you are buying naija used, be ready to put in the necessary work in repairs and getting the right parts. I learnt a lot from Gazzuzz Honda Rebuild thread. |

GAZZUZZ: they are not well maintained, either the engine shorts oil or the transmission does not shift well or car overheats.
Most times I just look for one with a sharp body and interior, then replace engine and transmission . That's the way to go |

Stealth100: I knew this from the get go, even when people were putting big cars on the platform, I had always been pragmatic.
My only mistake was starting the business with Nigerian used cars. I even bought two at once. Had to dispose them after six months and start afresh again. But the experience has been helpful. What's it with naija used cars? |

So pathetic, those people benefitting from this massacre should have a rethink. Have we not wasted enough human life? Have they not stockpiled enough money for their unborn generation? What did we do wrong to deserve this. |

This is sad and I wonder why some people are happy over this. The soldiers who lost their lives and many more in Borno fighting BH are all pawns in this game of chess by the political elites.
Suffice it to say that the current upsurge in attacks by BH coincided with their receiving million of dollars in ransom money; the govt surely need to rethink it's approach to this thing.
Your enemy is not your fellow brother who ekes out a living just like you, who is also at the receiving end of the inefficiency of this government. It's the politicians who are holding us by the balls

Billyonaire: When business is sold, it does not mean they were not making profit. Announcing a lost has been one of the few strategies that venture capitalists who want to make massive profits at shortest possible time use to sell out the company, clean the books up without paying taxes.
Unlike Yahoo Yahoo, the thoroughly trained minds in businesses of this nature knows that if you must get off the government tax handcuffs, then you must declare bankruptcy of the company even though the company is doing well. Cos if you declare profit during the sales, you will pay huge after sales tax but to declare bankcrupty, you are not only covering your asss for cooking the previous books, but you also get tax rebates and do not even have to pay taxes in the next several years as new buyers.
Sometimes it is just change of names; Cash out, sell the structures to another set of your foreign partners and the fraud continues. Etisalat, now 9Mobile has been used as a special purpose vehicle of these schemes many times and people still believe their stories.
Nigeria has been profitable to Konga and Jumia, but they could cash out some billions if they are declared bankrupt and share the liability of the credit facilities with new friendly partners while pocketing chunks of the money.
This is the type of Yahoo Yahoo Nigerians need to learn.
Nigeria is just a heaven for these high level fraud because we have no government, no consumer protection mechanisms, no products and pricing controls, I mean, I do not see how any 'world class intellect' can not be a billionaire in this country.
One must go beyond common-sense to understand that these sales are fraudulent schemes to enrich the few guys with brains who pull these stunts. Hear! Hear!! |

ItsMeAboki: Not quite true, the system of government and the nature of the ppl may have contributed; but the primary problem common to both countries was our over dependence on a mono-product economy which relied heavily on the income/forex realised from oil. The difference was that our country was able to come out of recession by making better use of its depleted income via more effective fiscal recovery policies e.g. banning frivolous importation to conserve foreign, investing and diversifying the economy e.g. agriculture especially rice to increase food production; improved control and monitoring of govt spending and income to stop/reduce leakages/wastages e.g. stoppage of PMS subsidy, war on corruption, BVN and TSA; encouraging foreign investment through improved ease of doing business and increased external reserves etc.
In short, govt was able to make better use of the little it had; fortunately, now the price of crude is increasing, so it would able to do even more. On the flip side, much is not been done to sustain the initial resolve for diversification. I know people complained that things were hard and perhaps the govt relaxed on their resolve, but it's an opportunity lost. I supported Buhari because I believe we needed a strong hand to pilot the affairs of the nation but seems we are getting the opposite. |

ItsMeAboki: This is the kind of crisis the Buhari administration has averted and saved us from experiencing but many here are too dumb and blinded with hatred to appreciate PMB's effort - makes me wonder how foolish and what they'd be saying now had GEJ's squandermanic and lootocratic continued in power. I beg to disagree. We practice capitalism and they practice socialism, therein lies their problem. it may interest you to note that they have a lower unemployment rate than Nigeria. They are use to the welfarism system of things and can't seem to endure as we do here even if their lives depend on it |

diegwu01: PMB saved Nigeria from this mess. We were practically facing the same issue, If not for a prudent President, we wouldn't have survived it. Now all the growth indices are in our favor and things are picking up. Nigeria should show appreciation. PMB didn't save us from anything, he rather plunged us into it. Nigeria practices capitalism while Venezuela practices socialism and here in lies their problem. At this level of human development, socialism should not be practised in whatever form or guise. |

On a good day of power supply, we use about 70-100 units a night.
Again, depending on the area, tarriffs are different. An egbeda person would pay differently from Ikoyi.
In all, it is better than running your generator. They should improve power supply and make money to further improve power supply. Kindly give us details. Una house na aso rock complex? |
