taxiappguy: How is 8.75 m daily not enough to pay for their operations sir? In Abuja, they only have about 5 staff. In Lagos, tops 15. Making ~20 in total. Even at an average salary of 150 k per head. That is 100,000 per day. Office space in Lagos and Abuja can't exceed 5 million per month. That is about 166k per day. I will add miscellaneous costs of 1 million per day. Total of 1.266 million per day.
8,750,000 - 1,126,000= 7,624,000.
In fact, let's say I miss my calculations by a whooping 5 m per day. Say we add incentives, bonuses, referrals, adjusted fares etc. They are still quite good. I may be totally wrong. You can share your math too why you think they might increase fares to 30%. I think they are cleaning out. What about cost of servers, et Al. There are a lot of blind spot from your end |

Enyinne: Hummmmm people sha get lever, when they are asking and pleading for favour ,the sound like Angels but immediately it get sorted ,there real colour surfaces .One guy came on this platform asking for HP for sienna to Ghana, he got someone who gave him 05 sienna for it but not for this thread.Fortunately this particular driver that came here asking for this was my former driver partner for 4months before asking me for sienna,as I cldnt provide the car, he came on the thread to sweet talk people with his proposal. Now the new person that gave him a sienna is a my friend that is into uber biz . He asked me to come see the driver for the sienna ,I was there and coincidentally it happens to be my old driver ,I approved the deal cos I never really had a any issue with him but he has already started telling this man about me with usual driver story against their partner. I ignored it cos I know he felt the best way to get his new prey is to condemn someone. Now he started off the HP ,dropped 200k for initial deposit to continue paying 50k weekly. Now 1month gone no remittance . Car was recovered yesterday with gear issue, unserviced and bashed car Upandan with lots of stories to follow up . Let's be careful cos people can change to something else within a short time cos of stress and challenge of life ,always be u and never allow situations to change u rather change the situation . HP is not worth it, I experienced it first-hand and na 07/08 Camry SE, direct toks fa. If you see the car after two months, my sister, you go cry me a lagoon. Worse still, the morefucker no remit sef, but he was on the road from the tracker. I just gave him a long rope and pulled the rug under his feet. |

hakimi1974: the o.p is biased i passed through that road 2 months ago, and i must say work is on going there. the igbo man just naturally hates buhari for not throwing away our common partrimony like a crazed drunk once did. Enough of this fallacious generalization, alot of Igbo's like me are saying it the way it is. The road is receiving the attention it deserves and this government deserves commendation for that. However, their handling of the economy is a story for another day. |

fergie001: . This road has been there for ages and successive governments have neglected it or given it a snail like attention. I travelled through it sometime ago and noticed there's genuine work going on there, we need to applaud that. Why do we allow hate blind our reasoning? Even the Enugu PortHarcourt expressway is receiving the necessary attention as at the last time I used it. Given this government credit for doing it doesn't diminish their failure in the handling of the economy. Let's be objective. We benefited more with regards to appointment than the Yoruba's, but they bid their time, did the needful and are better for it this time. Let us stop being petty and emotionally dumb |

This man Buhari did absolutely nothing for the East! Absolutely nothing! Why didn't Jonathan do these same roads; they were in worse condition during his tenure and absolutely nothing was done, not even mobilizing a truck to site. If you are honest with yourself, you will admit that works is ongoing there as we speak. Not supporting Buhari though |

Margarine 12. Tomato Ketchup 13. Assorted Animal Feed 14. Cube Sugar 15. Garri 16. Decortication of Groundnuts 17. Fruit Processing and Soft Drink 18. Malt 19. Palm Oil 20. Chewing Gum 21. Pasta 22.. Etc..
Need a comprehensive business plan or market analysis on any? We can talk
Note* No. 1, 21 are for serious entrepenuers who consider themselves as risk takers. Sweet corn is just a combination of corn and sugar. Unfortunately (after 50 years of independence), all the sweet corn in the market today were moved in from China, Thailand, etc. It is not a very expensive biz to start, but you're going to have issues with Marketing/Sales unless you're ready to get a good deal from a distributor. It cost about N200-250 to get a small size, so be ready to sell at competitive prices if you must displace the current market leaders. |

What a useless thread; so myopic in outlook, devoid of logic and lacking in substance.
This constant blackmailing of other tribes, because of their political afffiliation or leaning, is not and will never be a smart move. Let us use reasons to convince them rather than this constant barrage of insults and criticisms.
They benefited more in the present dispensation than the previous ones and no one will easily throw that under the bus.
When are we going to ever learn |
