Man, I am saying the truth and nothing but the Truth, u need to visit Nigeria and understand what an even and equal development means, all low areas in Nigeria have good road networks with close or open drainage systems,well planned lay out but high level of brown roofs which are mostly as a result of the zinc roof systems been used previously, now, no body uses such again.
In Kenya, all "real" development are centered around the CBD, ur gvmnt channels all its resources around areas which has already been developed by the Europeans and Indians while leaving places where average "black" Kenyans resides out.

Nigger, Westland, Upperhill and CBD should be merged together, all these "tiny" so called business areas have very close proximity and too small to be called CBD, more reason y u can't compare Nairobi and Lagos,PH, or even Abuja , Lagos gat Lagos marina, lekki,Ikoyi,Vi,Ikeja,Apapa,Festac ... and all these place are far a part.
Analyse the pics bellow (an area in which 70% of nairobians called homes) and see y those business areas are waste of resources

Start from the basic which is road then you look at drainage....I guess you always wonder why your cbd always looks like atlantic ocean when it's rains except that it is ugly and brownish in colour.
Tell me which responsible and reasonable country in the world would allow it's cbd get flooded constantly without doing something about it
