Closer to home we have two interesting examples. Tanzania avoided the plague of tribalism and religious divisions that continue to haunt us. We don’t know what tribe Magufuli is and the Tanzanians don’t seem to care. Is there one national leader in Kenya whose tribe you don’t know? Yet Tanzania with triple our arable land, minerals all over the country and blessed with so much more than Kenya has less than half our GDP. Despite the liberalization of the 1990’s they have still not managed to shake off the Socialist mentality that impedes fast decision making necessary for successful business development.

Rwanda is a classic example of what can go so wrong in so short a time. Who can forget the genocide of 1994? That’s what bad politics can do. Lest we forget, we came close to the abyss in 2008. Nations can implode so fast. Look at the former Yugoslavia where neighbors slaughtered each other almost overnight. Then good leadership can heal the wounds. Kagame chose reconciliation over revenge and Rwanda is celebrated internationally as a success story. It’s a story of visionary leadership. From genocide to unity

What u don't understand is,masai Mara is a tiny area within Serengeti ecosystem.All animals are born in around ndutu area in Tz.Those animals are Tanzania's. The same way aplies to Masai people. Those born in Tz are Tanzanians.There is no sharing.

we hope many development will come thru this stage especially when the world is transitioning to gold preservation instead of dollar. The demand for gold is increasing gradually and if the trends continue, then the future is surely bright for Ghanaians. The country had also discover another large quantity of Gas last week.

Ghana has become the largest gold producer in Africa, toppling South Africa in a recent data released by the World Bank.

The data copied to the Ghana News Agency said Ghana exported 158 tonnes of gold in 2018, about 15% increase over the previous year.

Ghana has thus dethroned South Africa, which produced 139.3 tonnes and returned to the high volumes of the 1980s.

It said mining firms operating in the country include Newmont Mining Corporation, Gold Fields, Anglogold Ashanti and Asanko Gold.

It noted rural communities in four regions of Ghana currently affected by the environmental damage and pollution associated with destructive artisanal mining and logging practices are to benefit from a scale-up of the Ghana Forest Investment Program.


The World Bank approved this week an additional financing of $19.39 million to the programme.

The programme is already implementing activities focusing on agricultural drivers of deforestation by working with cocoa farmers and communities to rehabilitate and protect forest reserves.

The additional financing operation aims at complementing these activities by piloting approaches to and benefits of reclamation of mining sites, which will reduce erosion currently polluting public watercourses and engage the private sector in plantation development to reduce pressure on natural forests.

China tops the global pact followed by Australia, Russia and the United States of America.
