I struggled to finish s1 when it came out just after the best historical action adventure series in the history of film,Spartacus, blood and sand,so I understandably had high expectations.
GoT is overrated! Its just not interesting: I strongly suspect the producer was aware and so overloaded the story with props-Dothraki,dragons, dragon eggs etc,etc but its still extremely Meeeehh!
Iow,you're missing nothing. Read a good book; a Stephen Hunter or Patrick Robinson,adult men's fiction.

Mombasa is lucky to be a port city...

How I wish our government can put more resource into the seaports in the Niger delta..it would further boost the economy...
