Please someone told me garri is 6 aed per kg and this is contrary to what I heard before that it's 10 aed per tin cup, please someone with better information should help madam Justi and muchomucho.

well I saw a whole lot of people that bought residence and are sleeping on the street because they couldn't meet up with house rent..... one thing that is certain in UAE is that if you got a job, you can live fine maybe not as comfortable as you would want and you can support yourself with little trade if you have the time......Most guys that bought residence and are doing "computer things" are yahoo guys and they are the ones forming spoilers for the responsible Nigerians out there.

The Same way the gurus in the house have always spoken about.
I got a month( please in all your getting, get the 3 months visa) tourist visa to Dubai, when I got there I prepared a cv and I hit the street searching for jobs. I also broadcast my cv on dubizzle and did a lot of PRAYING. God answered my prayers and gave me a job, came back to naija to wait for my employment visa and I got it yesterday.

PS: PLEASE DON'T ASK ME HOW I GOT THE TOURIST VISA.

Ummm... does the age limit apply to actual travel/arrival at UAE or just visa application? We already planned a family trip but now I might have to meet up with them a day or two later and I want(ed) to know if one of my parents would have to change flight as well and accompany me. Or if I would still be granted entry, evn though alone, as long as I have my visa. I'm 21 by the way.

Meanwhile, I feel sad anytime I see some of the CV's of job seekers. I'm not saying lie on your cv, but at least make it presentable and highlight your selling points. I'm thinking of making that my own small contribution to the thread - reviewing the CV's of those coming for job search for free but I don't want that to be abused or for someone to wake up one day and accuse me of being an agent .

well....... if you factor the fact that you will have to pay for scratch card( if you didn't go with 1), printing of result, payment for form, payment in bank you then you would know Why I said about 1500

1. you visit the federal ministry of education at Abuja, It's gonna cost you about 1500 per document there.

2. Federal ministry of foreign affairs, It's adjacent to ministry of education, you can get your documents done at 2k per document if you wanna collect it that day.

3 the last port of call is UAE embassy, It's $30 per document here.

Including your O'level. Waec certificates cost 3,000naira each for authentication at the Ministry of Education, go with ur WAEC scratch card.
