Jobs/Vacancies › Re: Is It Possible To Work From Home In Nigeria? by Tzben(m): 7:19am On Sep 14, 2018 |
Panshow: Yes, very possible. I run www.fleektemplates.com from home. I spent sleepless nights building these amazing templates. My neighbors think I'm just a lazy person because I'm always on my laptop. They can't just imagine why a sane person will spend his whole day on a laptop. Well I didn't blame them cos they have no clue what's going on.
I thank God my work is delivering real value to clients. That's my joy.
Working from home is incredibly hard. You'll work even harder than people going to the office, but it's rewarding. I visited your website and I was impressed, I also need this for my baby business, please inbox me let's discuss more. Great work |

mapet: There is a national pipe-line architecture. There is no "focus on the north" with Gas pipeline. The architecture is designed in such a way that covers national need in terms of power, industries and petro-chem business. It also extends to Gas sales to neighboring countries. Alright thanks. |
Business › Re: China To Provide 85% Funding For $2.8 Billion AKK Gas Pipeline Project by Tzben(m): 8:25am On Sep 04, 2018 |
obailala: 1. There's currently no gas pipeline to the north, any initiative to help utilise Nigeria's gas, improve industralisation and reduce gas flaring/wasting is a welcome development.
2. China will reap mega profits from interests; nothing goes for nothing. Remember again that for most of these projects, the cash loaned cash isnt given, rather the agreement is that a Chinese company takes the contract to execute the project. It also ensures them easy access to exploit Africa's resources, just like the western world had done in time past. In conclusion, China gains massively and we also gain (because we cant fund ourselves). But if our leaders are smart enough to payback quickly, we can avoid being enslaved; but you know how African leaders are. Thanks for your detailed answer.. I greatly appreciate it. I now understand the notion well.. |

People clamoring for something shouldn't be attacked with arms.. Can I ask you.. Do you even like Nigeria yourself? We need to change all around. If you want to relocate from your residence to another residence because of lack of energy, does that mean it you are stupid? No.. So don't blame their movement... 1. Why focusing on the north, not a tribalist.. Just a neutral question.. 2. What is China's gain in this.. What did we offer to obtain this?
Good project.. But more light need to be shed |

SenorFax: Tribalism will soon finish us if we do the 'an eye for an eye' solution. You can correct it if you have the power, too bad you don't, but one thing you can do is create a loving place for yourself and others, manners maketh man, and charity begins at home not at the top. You wanna have a better country, go and love your family and neighbors. Seriously, you're right. In fact at the time of writing this comment, I am in a bus now and two Igbo men are currently helping an hausa man whose onion bag wants to fall off from the bus. If they were tribalistic, I think this hausa man would have lost thousands of naira today.. He was just saying thanks and smiling.. Isn't that the Nigeria we want? |

GODWINLOWSKI: Oga keep quiet, if you want to fight tribalism I think Aso rock is the best place for you, where Buhari asked world bank to focuse on the north, how many of his minister or high people in power are from the east or south, name one of his investment in the south east, how many operation pyton dance has been launched oh his fellow Fulani herdsmen tribe, don't tell me that you're not in nigeria all this while Sir, I have been in Nigeria, in fact I was in Abia state at the heat of python dance and experienced it full time. But I can't fault those soldiers because they're from other tribe or my tribe. I only fault the government which even people from South East are part of.. No village doesn't have a bad person, no family doesn't have a good person.. But that doesn't make them all bad. Let us forget tribalism and move forward. Nairaland should act on the tribalistic hateful comments to stop its viral spread. |
Culture › What Is Nairalandmentor Doing About The Too Tribalism In Its Platform by Tzben(op): 5:57am On Sep 03, 2018 |
Tribalism is seen my most people as a way to stick together to your community or state. This term or action by individuals have never in the history of the world worked any good.
Nigeria is a country with diverse cultures and traditions, we are blessed to have different religions and regions which can equally turn out to be for a greater good of all via tourism and education.
However, instead of Nigeria utilizing the great opportunity layed down for them, the opt to curse one another, and this is more prevalent in social media platforms, which I can say Nairaland Forum has the highest rate of tribalistic hate and hateful comments.
What is their moderators doing about this? As a platform with international recognition and a national signature of Nigeria to the outside world, the biggest forum in Africa. I think by their standards, they should have set a greater pace for the good of Nigeria. Look at what is happening to Facebook at the moment, even though you are responsible for your posts there, the UN has asked Facebook to fight against fake news and hate speech. Why can't Nairaland do the same or are they waiting till it gets out of hand? Isn't it already on a scary high rise.
I am an Igbo myself, but I have hausa friends and Yoruba friends here in my state from childhood even in my professional endeavor. I only came to know and understand the bizarre terms of "Igbo" "afonja" and a host of others. Tribalism isn't the way forward, and if it is being incited by our politicians whose family members are outside the country. Then we all must be stupid in doing there bidding and nairaland who even have a rule against it and isn't even doing a thing about it is incompetent..
Drop your ideas on how we can combat this..

Yoruba ajoka Why must we be tribalistic when matters of national disturbance is discussed? I am an Igbo myself, but we need to stop this rubbish. Isn't their a bad person in your family? Does that mean that you all are bad? |

Amarabae: Having gone through your post, I really don't see how the doctors you met offended you, You came for treatment to be well and not for an interview class with the doc, there are crowd waiting also to be attended to. If he diagnose you, you have a phone, when you get home, you browse about the issue. Simple. You should not be in hospital to count which health professional laughed with you, you should be there to get help and go This is a bizarre response to the post above. The points he pointed out should be looked into by our health institutions. Professionalism must be adhered to, their should be no option to it. |
