See your mouth. LGAs have joint accounts with states. Oshiomole has pounced on those accounts and LGAs are suddenly unable to pay salaries. If the states govs don't steal LGA monies they would have long given them financial autonomy. Edo state owes its pensioners for a year now.

Financial autonomy for local government is good but a local government chairman dat has d welfare of its workers cannot b owing up to 15-18 months backlog of salaries.

I seriously pity d workers of Whoring local government & I appeal to d state government to come to their aid by helping the council to pay some backlog of salaries or if possible grant the local government a soft loan that will b use to offset the salary issues the same way the federal government is helping the state

Yes I know that primary school teachers salary are remove from source & I also know that Egor local government is 1 of the few local government in the state that is generating high revenue because of. the number of markets under its watch especially Uselu & Oliha markets as well as lots of private establishment such as Tomline construction company & lots of furniture companies. My concern is what where/is the chairman doing with the revenue revenues that the council was generating. After all Egor local government is not the only local government we have in the state but is the only one bn mentioned.

Point of correction pls. the governor is not owing Egor local government but the chairman or whoever is in charge is d person owing the local government workers. Saying the governor is owing workers of local government is like accusing or saying the president is owing state government workers if the states can not pay the salary.

This governor Fayose & EFCC movie is becoming more interesting by the day. I hope both of them are ready to confront each other with the required facts to prove their cases

PDP leaders especially those at the nationak level are mad & foolish for dragging the issue of authentic national chairman for too long. The BOT should take ouer the running of the party & also organise an election settle this issue. It is really high time this PDP comedy of a thing stop. The founders of the party that are still alive today should urgently meet with the different factions and help to resolve this issue that has been dragging on for long.
