obiaguna: How much did it cost you in starting cos from my calculations it cost quite a lot. How is business down south? To be honest with you, I started just like that. No bikes, no office, just a couple of guys with back packs. I had to get bank reference letter, TIN cert and some supporting docs submitted to a couple of the companies I work with. Apart from 2 major companies that have a big website, the rest of my clients are mainly individuals that sells stuffs through social media platforms. Business is good.... Except for clients that reject items, tell you they no longer need it or just won't pick your calls when the items they ordered have been sent to me. |

scott1010: E-commerce delievery can be set up as describe above but not as easy as people are made to believe,I currently handle e-commerce delieveries for major e-commerce companies in lagos and I can tell you that a lot of other factors can hinder your output in achieving you planned project, this factors are stated below. 1.A lot of customers have bad attitude towards making you have effective and fast delieveries, for example, you get to a customer end to deliever and he tells you he has changed his mind on the product, that it looks different from what he saw on Internet.here you can not claim money for the delivery 2.A lot of people delay you unnecessarily when you go to deliever as such if you have a target of ten delivery a day you might end up with only four or five. 3.there are lot of people that fiddles with their phones to make orders they don't need as such they refuse picking their calls when you are ready to deliver. I guess delieveries will be attractive once customers are made to pay for at least 5% of value of their shipments as people will not want to loose money and respond to their items in a positive way You are really in the business! Worse is someone telling you to deliver only to get there and refuse answering your call. I have had cases of traveling to as far as onne from pH only for the customer to switch off their phone. Sometimes I feel we are not ripe for online shopping yet. But the prospects however are promising no doubt. |

DealFinder: Why did I put up this thread?
To get people more aware about this need that needs to be filled. And considering the fact that it doesn't take as much money as previously thought to set up.
Secondly, and very importantly, I'm in need of a logistics outfit that can handle my teeming orders, as it seems that the current one I use isn't as efficient as it used to be. Especially with our Ecommerce store set up with lots of orders to handle Great thread. I presently run a door-step delivery service outfit in Port Harcourt. We handle deliveries within Rivers States for now and occasionally to yenagoa in special cases. I hope to spread operations across the south-south States soon. It's not easy but as the day goes by, it gets very interesting |

Career › Re: Living And Working In Lagos Vs. Living And Working In Port Harcourt by ubergold(m): 11:34am On Jan 06, 2017 |
fratermathy: All I know is that Port Harcourt is not as safe as Lagos. Lagos has its own share of insecurity but that of PH is on a whole different level entirely. Cultism, gangsterism, robbery, violence etc, are far too much.
As for cost of living, it all depends on the area you intend staying. Generally though, houses in Port Harcourt are more expensive than houses in Lagos (except highbrow areas).
Cost of living is higher in PH than Lagos. Do you really know port Harcourt or are you saying what you read in the news? Port Harcourt is safer than lagos, at least no omonile and robbery in traffic. Op get an estate agent look for houses around dline, ogunabali, elekhahia, even amadi and you will be saving some good money on transport. Only thing is pH is a little slower than lagos, if you let it get to you, you become lazy. Yes, and the girls too.... Stay focused. Cheers |

Good afternoon, just saw this thread.
We handle door-step delivery of goods purchased on your online platforms to your clients. We are presently operating within Rivers States and environs for now, we are however working on spreading our delivery network to all the states within the south-south and South-east region.
HOW WE WORK We partner with both small and large online stores especially those located in Lagos and Abuja, helping them overcome the challenges of delivering orders to customers located in this part of the country thus increasing their customer base. Engaging our service is simple and just a phone call away. Let's help you build your customer base here in Port Harcourt and environs.
At your request I can send you our profile. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have. Send us a mail on Jnimosolutions@gmail.com or call 08055163014. Looking forward to your positive feedback.
Do have a great day. |

jacksol: So, justice system must help all our Treasury looters escape with their loot for it to be "enough to give you justice"? I am sorry for you. The so called justice system can be" frozen", tramped upon, so long as Fayose does NOT get away with that loot. And the rest of the looting bastards as well, past, present and future. And if you can't see that that's the only way your interest can be served, then you need a brain exam. Peace. Sorry for yourself Sir, if I need my brain examined according to your opinion because I think the court is the only place to get justice then I think you don't belong to a civil society Sir. "Looted fund": I guess you are a lawyer, investigator, forensic accountant and judge all rolled into one for you to know the funds in the account are Looted. Don't let another man's money be your problem, your generations unborn are counting on you to make yours |

So this will not fly Clap for yourself! My prayer is you will not find yourself in a situation where the Justice system won't be enough to give you justice. |
