Romance / Re: 'I Choose Him'- Woman Battered By Her Fiancé Announces She's Going To Marry Him by UBGGA(f): 9:58pm On Nov 27, 2021
Farfalla:
When men are told to love their daughters, bond with them and let them know that you're a man they can depend on, some think it's just Western psychology bull.

Now look at this one. Totally sick in the head, it's nauseating. She will not donate common blood to her own mother but will donate both her kidneys to the man for the simple reason that he looked her way.

Parents please show love to your children. You hear?

Blaming the men again, are we?

A grown woman choose to stay with her abuser, and it's her father's fault for not supposedly bonding well enough with her?

Stop, just stop.

If she has deep seated daddy issues, perhaps she should tow the good old classic marrying an older man path.

Culture / Re: Olu Of Warri Dissolves Council Of Chiefs by UBGGA(f): 7:44am On Sep 01, 2021
Dodoproperties:
Ayiri don't know when to be patriotic for once, how can you see a well deserved prince like the present king and be fighting for those thugs of a prince that refused to do anything meaningful for theirselves, imagine the sons of the immediate past king still sagging trousers in a nigerian university at their age still struggling with first degree,
When they shock Ayiri himself was the day they burgled the Olu private residence and cart away the crown of olu of warri,

Is that character worthy of king?

Ayiri should rather show his loyalty by coming for revalidation or he'll lose out in the sharing formula, that's if the present king wants to even see his face again.

I’m curious, is the kingship by democracy? Do you “ support” or vote your men to become kings?

If their father was the late king, by birth they’ve earned the right to become kings themselves irrespective of how they like to wear their pants. Unless, culture is dead and the throne is a business open to the highest bidder.

Ah, don't get offended ma'am, I don't mean to criticise any church, maybe what I saw on the first day influenced that,

Oh no! I'm not offended at all. I was just sharing my Dominion City experience. We all need a place that works for us, the most important thing is you found one eventually.

Thank God for your life bro. I'm a Catholic and enjoy the programs of charismatic groups in the church. I also tried following friends to Dominion City then but I found out that what they did most was just preaching of prosperity and showmanship. I later realised the charismatic group in the Catholic Church is one of the best Christian fellowships one can have. I'm proudly a Catholic and understand the treasures the church have

You found Dominion City as a prosperity and showmanship church? Oh wow!
I was an atheist for years. Dominion City is the reason I serve God unashamedly now, and have a relationship with the Holy Spirit today.

Something my branch Pastor used to say: "If you stay here for 3 months and nothing changes in you, this is not the church for you. I suppose it wasn't for you.

Regardless, it's great you found a place to worship and connect.

Family / Re: Introverts Lounge (Extroverts Pls Keep Off !!) by UBGGA(f): 8:01am On Jun 14, 2021
Introversion is just perfect until you are married and your in-laws are extroverts.

Imagine having to be called at least three times weekly for small talks, "I just called to say hello and check on you", oh how I despise
phone calls. My in-laws are the nicest people I ever met, but, arrrrrggggggh, those constant phone calls, bonding, coming over to my space, and the expectations of me in theirs for every family event or just to visit.

I wish I was as social as they wanted, Lord knows my mother-in-law in all of her kindness and open-mindedness deserves an extroverted daughter-in-law.

Religion / Re: Pastor David Chuks Ogbueli Celebrates His 52nd Birthday Today - Memoir by UBGGA(f): 10:14am On Apr 28, 2020
I was 15 years old when I first walked into Dominion City. I had just gained admission into the university and needed a church to fellowship, so a friend recommended Dominion city.

At first, I was concerned it would be like the other "new generation churches" I had visited. I was so wrong; I found a ministry with depth.

Dominion city transformed my life spiritually, professionally, and financially. I am a better and more aware woman today partly because I walked into that ministry all those years ago.

Today, I am indeed a leader who's transforming society, just like I was promised when I joined the ministry.

Thank you Rev. David Ogbueli.

The end is near

And only the righteous will be saved by God
He will take them all to a place already provided by Him, free from war and oppressors and hungers and famines

He will hide them for a time and two times and a half time until the bad days be passed

Please try as much to be righteous doing all things which is right.

Stop internet Frauds, masturbating, excessive smoking and drinking which leads to fornication

Walai talai if you don't repent, you'll surely regret

Because all these messages will be a witness against you

For you heard and you turned not from your wicked ways

You cannot use fear to turn people to God. Fear breeds anger and resentment.

It is the goodness of God that brings men to repentance - Romans 2:4

Did you start a company at 24? And I don't mean a hair vendor kinda company.

Married people don't read and travel and build careers? A 24-year old damn well knows what's good for her. She didn't ask you for advice as to whether or not she should get married.

It's nauseating when y'all act like you know better what's best for a person. What do you know about her life to think that your advice is necessary? undecided

Oh grandma, I apologise for mentioning dry bones in your presence.

You're just 24!

Read. Travel. Build a career. Start a company.

Girl, live first, really live, before thinking marriage.

Is joining an occult against the law of this country? For the fact that they were not caught murder I see reason. Why the police should parade them as criminals.
Have they done worst than what bokoharam and herdsmen are doing and yet the federal government is pampering them.
Lets be reasonable for once and stop allowing emotions to detect our thinking. There is freedom of association in this country.

I wondered about the same thing too.

How is it criminal if they weren't caught commiting a crime?

If the NBM inscribed on their attires is what I think it is, they identify as a registered group and have rights to congregate whenever and in whatever attire.

So, where is the crime?!!
