Funny, you see!
you can't mention it.
6 hours is okay for an adult to sleep.
Lagos don't sleep, you get your ass up and do something instead of sleeping.
After the 9am-5pm job, one spends another 3-4 hours on the road due to traffic.

Haba, one deserves his quality rest.

I think the craziest thing I've ever done while rushing bus years back was using my sizeable bosoms to shove men out of the way and when I settled on the seat, I laughed maniacally. I am not exaggerating. When I got home later that day and had a chance to ruminate, I was genuinely baffled at my actions.

Lagos does that to you grin
Not fair at all.....

Everything...

Just mention one good thing in your state and you will see Lagos has the best of it.
Funny...

The emphasis is on the quality of life in Lagos compared to other places. I will rather reside in Oyo state....

As early as 4:30/5:00am, one finds school children already on the road. For some workers, it is earlier. One barely gets 8 hours of quality rest/sleep during work days, depending on the distance from one's home to their place of work though. However for majority, it is the case.

I am serious. If say I dey there, I would be very entertained. grin
The dramas ain't healthy for anyone, especially in the long run.

Now I live in a peaceful and poch appt in Kogi state but it's nothing compared to my one room in Agege, Lagos.

I can't cope in Lagos.
Gimme accommodation for 5 years free of charge with a job, I won't accept to live in Lagos.

I have a friend who got transferred to Kano some years ago. He was surprised that he could make it to his office within 10 minutes, left the house at 7:45am but arrived the office before 8:00am.

Even after spending 3 months in Kano state, this guy, at 3:00am is already awake and counting the ceilings. Lagos life had wired him that way.

Six months later, my guy started working his transfer back to Lagos. What is it in Lagos state sef? I can never tell.

Yea
But he's into hire purchase only except if this has changed. Move over, hire purchase is laden with high requirements. In addition, those Brekete taxi vehicles can not be registered on taxi platforms like uber and Bolt except My President Ahmed Isah(yes,he is my President) has other options which I doubt. Hire purchase places too much pressure on drivers. In some cases, drivers pay double the amount for the vehicle, so for a #1million vehicle, drivers pay #2million and also bear the cost of maintenance. With these in mind, I'm looking at rentals only
I think the Brekete Family Taxis are designed not to place heavy burdens on the driver, for instance, you won't be asked to commit yourself financially before they give you a vehicle as is the case with the regular hire purchase agreement.

However you must decide what you want. You already pointed out that you need rentals only.

All the best to you

This is an interesting topic for discussion @Litigator

You are very right. The wife may have been faithful afterall. I guess trust issues will develop if the DNA test reveals that the man is the biological father. Will the woman choose to remain in the marriage? Some may leave and some may remain but the marriage will never be the same again.

On the issue about switching the child at birth, it may be difficult to resolve this. Again, the innocent wife takes the blame.

Do we have the technology to identify Chimeras in Nigeria?

In all of these, I feel for the children who are at the centre of discussion. The stigma and unwanted publicity are not good for them especially when they are minors

Hi there,

I'm interested in partnering with anyone who has the required vehicle needed by taxi platforms like uber and Bolt. Rental purposes only.

My Offer

1.I take responsibility for All minor repairs on your vehicle. Repairs not exceeding a maximum of #15,000.

2.Vehicle must undergo regular and complete maintenance,at least once in every 8 weeks, starting from the date of agreement. This is to ensure that the vehicle is in top condition at all times. I take responsibility for this.

3.All repairs must be conducted by the owner's auto tech. This is important for transperancy and accountability purposes.

4.I make a weekly remittal of #15,000. In addition, I'll make a minimum deposit of #30,000 which translates to a 2week payment.

5.I have guarantors to match your requirements.

6. Vehicle owner and I will have to make arrangements which should govern the proper course of action in the event of a major accident. The goal is to fix the vehicle and get back to business as quickly as possible.

7. In the event of a lock down or any form of restrictions on movement above 48hrs, I'll return the vehicle immediately.

If the offer is suitable for you and/or you need to discuss about the need to make adjustments, just DM or quote me.
Good morning.

Since you are in Abuja, do visit the Human Rights Radio and Television, they give out vehicles for hire purchase once you meet their requirements. The Ordinary President Ahmed Isah and Akamakala (I hope I got the spelling correctly) are in charge of the Brekete Family Taxis.

All the best.

If the temporary relief is for a year, I'm okay. Most tokunbo engines may not even serve that long.
I can't say how long it will take you but I doubt it will be for that long. You will end up throwing money to the problem without actually solving it.

Why not go ahead to rebuild the engine, it is pricey though.

Why should the only justification for wearing a suit is to own a car?

A friend x5 e53 engine was damaged by overheating today. Engine has refused to start. The mechanic said the head gasket maybe bad and or a warped head cylinder. Please what can he do? Change the gasket and get a new head?? Please advice as I'm skeptical about getting another tokunbo engine that one is not sure of its condition.
Replace the engine.

Replacing the burnt gasket will only provide temporary relief.

Except you plan on buy OEM and to rebuild the engine.

Moderator, Unban Msnorgan,

She only tried defending when I was banned for unverified scam.

Why is she so interested?

Why are you so interested in banning any one who defends me, unverified?

Are you related to the OP?

I wonder how many guys on nairaland have been banned unfairly like this.

As far back as 2009, Dominique,

Some of your posts where recycled by the then
Phemour, who was a mod by then, yet you where not place on ban for till 2035 like you do to others, be careful and do what's right with your office, its a small world we live in!

Let the OP come out with proofs and I would respond to him squarely.

You where told to come up with evidences,

This WhatsApp chat is no evidence to dent my name, you paid for a service and confidently went against instructions and now you trying to paint me fraudulent?

Common man, you are better than this, come up with something good!
You have said nothing in your defence.

Explain in clear terms what transpired between you and the Op. What service did he pay for? How did he go against instructions? What were the instructions?

What makes you think that's his picture?

What if someone downloads your pictures and use it to do fraud and you come online to see your pictures posted as a fraudster, you will be happy, I believe?

What if it's not even his name but he used someone's account number?

I remember an incident where a dude accessed someone of scam and even posted his phone number. Nairalanders were calling and bashing him only to later find out it was a lie.

The dude only did it to get back at him. By then damage has been done to the man's reputation and business.

It serves the woman right.

After birthing 5 children what else does she wants? Even if the man no get sense, how much is family planning
?

She should thank her stars he man absconded but didn't die.

A lot of parents are the cause of poverty in this country.
In some cases, the woman has no say on such matters. This is especially the case with the less educated ones.

I will blame the man in this case. He deserves to be arrested.
